A winning award Irish Pub! One of the best in Dublin!
Nice place for gathering, both food and drink are reasonable and services are excellent.
Staff are always helpful. If you are looking for a quiet drink this is not the place to go. If your look for great atmosphere then you have the correct spot
Lively bar. Great for Friday night after work drinks.
Nice bar for catching up with friends over pints. Great whiskey selection!
Lovely Chardonnay in a chilled glass for 7. Staff friendly and helpful, Food tasty.
Visited here recently on a Sunday afternoon, really welcoming pleasant staff. Great buzz and service was excellent. Food was so tasty would recommend the Lamb Shank. Live Jazz was a nice touch. Will definitely be back
Great spot. Really cosy great service and food was lovely
Had a nice breakfast there. Would never have thought I was Ireland in this place, looks very frenc/italian
Great pub! Nice to meet friends after work or for big sport events!
Great staff, great food and more importantly they have a fantastic selection of whiskey! Will definitely return!
Great service and top black pudding and lemon salad! (sounds odd tastes great)
Very nice place to have a few beers or even a dinner. Waitresses were able to recommend both the meals and the beers.
Been to Dublin over 20 times in last 3 years and this is the best pub I have visited. Swanky, classy, atmospheric great food, best service in Dublin.
I had a really great sandwich and soup here. The staff was great and friendly
Would be 5 stars if the hop house wasn't too warm! Good food, nice atmosphere and great fun!
Stopped off to have a drink before going on bardge restsurant.
Lovely sunny day. Got a seat outside at the front.
Dropped in (briefly) w/e of 11th July, not a face mask or effort at socially distancing in sight among staff or the (crowds of) customers, the smoking area was like a busy Saturday night 2019.. Found it pretty cheeky really when most pubs are not allowed open at all (partly because some pubs are being reckless).
Very popular. Great food. A little pricey but you pay for good service and food!
My First ever google review. Have to say atrocious service. Have been coming here for 2 yrs when I am over in Dublin visiting. Last year it was really good, but tonight, and after the last two times I have visited for food, I have to rate it a one star. My drink took 15mins to arrive, the order was 45mins, the Order was wrong, our veg was cold, and it took 20mins to get the bill. The defensiveness of staff was incredible, especially from the manager... to be fair, we were busy and they did you a favour giving you a table (it was not full) and the lack of care or attention by the server and the manager was incredible. We had to walk up and pay and I will never go again.
The food is awesome, I had the burger and for someone who doesn't normally like black pudding... It was superb.
Recommend it!
Great bar, and great staff, and great food. At least stop by for a pint of you happen to pass by.
Love the outside area at the back! Cosy and Irish atmosphere.
Good bar, serving excellent food and with friendly staff
Very cozy tent, good food. The setup of the case makes it a bit noisy.
Very good bar. Good selection of beer and food. A lot of space to seat
Held a birthday party here and the staff were great. Really good food too!
Good food. Lovely atmosphere and the friendliest of staff. Busy time after marathon but never felt rushed. Loved it.
Excellent lunch. Homemade soup and bread. Delicious. Very clean, friendly staff
Modern / casual Irish pub restaurant. Although it is crowded in the popularity, it is relatively wide in shops and there is a distance from the neighbors, which is not messed up. The cuisine is delicious and the variety of drinks is abundant. It is a good restaurant.
Super place to while away a few hours with friends or watch sports
Go there quiet often food very good value lovely staff
Great food great service. Lunchtime was well accommodated plenty of space.
Best place for nice pub style food specious comfortable friendly staff
Very few beer options on the tap. Called and asked for a reservation and they said they were not taking them on that day. On arrival there were many tables reserved anyway.
The best thing about Searsons is their beer garden - otherwise main bar lacks any character... soulless, too bright, and smells of food from carvery area!!
We had a table booked for 12 people at 7pm and they had closed the kitchen and were not serving food.
Of course they didn t allow us to bring any food or snacks either.
Disappointed, update your opening times or advice by email about special days and services
Very good pub to have a friendly atmosphere and be warm
Loved it, friendly staff and friendly group of locals.
I love how this place is packed every night. Safe place for the odd session.
A great old Dublin pub in the heart of Baggott Street where it's in full swing with great places to eat and great place for a pint.
Pro: Offered food on the way in. Tasty.
Con: All the lounge staff have visors but if they are going to use them as baseball caps there is no point. No screens on the bar, no face masks on any staff. If you have a concern about going out in the current environment then give it a miss
Good buzz about this place, definitely a great spot for a few pints with any sport that's on. Nice location & easy to find
This is a regular place, not very "Irish", however it's always fully crowded.
Pros: a backyard for smokers and huge space
Cons: don't have the real pub experience feeling, it's a nice place for tourists but, there are several better pubs in town
Waitress was a bit rude. They insisted on a booking deposit despite the place being 90% empty. When asked to swap one item for another my friend was told that it couldnt be swapped because one was meat and the other item was not... Ridiculous. Couldn't have had more of a sour face on her when we paid. No tip!
Great neat pub, good prices. Food fine (order a typical Irish dish, they are the best at it).
Nice local pub with good beer selection. A great outdoor area in the back.
Ordered Lamb half the plate was hot the other half cold. Lamb was freezing wasn't worth 112 in total Very disappointed as it was always gorgeous here
Always has a bit of a buzz, great place for food or to watch a game.
A good place for lunch - very spacious, but still retains its atmosphere. Good sandwiches. Friendly and efficient service.
My friend arrived first and nobody came to her to help. After 10 minutes waiting for the menu, the waitress came to say that we should have gone inside to register our name and mobile and we should know that.
I thought It was quite rude.
Brilliant. I have never been dissappointed by this pub . If Carlsberg did pubs this would be it.
Visited this pub establishment which was open in 1856. Chilled inviting atmosphere. Good choice for breakfast, chilled music in the background. The waitresses were extremely friendly. They have variety of cuisines such as European, French, Irish, steaks and vegetarian option.
Searsons of Baggott Street are home to the largest whiskey bar in Ireland boasting approx. 150 different types with 90 of them being solely Irish, and with the Midleton Very Rare Vintage 1984 2014 Collection. Searsons are also home to regulars such as Patrick Kavanagh and Brendan Behan in the past. You will see a beautiful statues of them in the pub.
Just there for a drink great jazz band Sunday evening
