Lovely lunch. Good value. Lovely surroundings. Quick service.
Great Guinness. Great atmosphere for international rugby matches.
A group of four had lunch. The food was surprisingly good for a pub. The service was friendly and helpful. It is a big pub, well decorated. I would recommend it.
Food was ok here but not as good as other places in Dublin. Main reason for the lower rating was the service seemed very rushed. We were barely given time to put our cutlery down before plates being taken away. There seemed to be a rush to get us to order more drinks rather than letting us relax and finish what we had. All that didn't take away from a stunning setting though.
The fish and chips is really good.
It's crispy and juicy.
But, sometimes music band sings loudly and it's annoying.
Had a work night out here. Service was very good, food was decent. Nice friendly atmosphere
Great Pub with friendly staff and excellent service
A must if you have to do one of the Baggot St pubs great place to start a pub crawl back into city centre
Grand pub, fast service and friendly staff and good food.
Great pint! Very friendly service. Food was excellent
Large pub that's buzzing with energy. Great food and cocktails, too!
Nice place. Low selection of craft beers though. Food and atmosphere are very nice.
The bartenders were a little young when I went but they were still very responsive and helpful. One kid started up a conversation with me while he poured me my Guinness and helped me out with any questions I had. The food is really the reason I would go back though. The lamb shank was fantastic and went great with a beer. Not a super cheap place to eat though for a pub but some great food because of that. It would be a good place for a date.
Oh god this place, this place was great, everything about, I say this and I ain't even getting paid for saying so.
When walking up to the place it looked nice but when I walked in, looked even better and it is much larger then you would think when looking from the outside.
Once we were in, even with nearly a full house, it was very easy to move around and we didn't have to play snake just to get through the place because how the tables and chairs were setup, leaving a clear path from the front, to the back.
Once we found a seat, we didn't need to wait at all for a waitress to come up and serve us a drink and ask if we wanted a menu.
There was a decent amount of food to choose from and luckily for me, there was ribeye, so medium ribeye with pepper source it was for me and oh god it was great, perfectly cooked, ever part of meal was perfect and for dessert it was brownie and yet again, it was great, one of the best I've ever had and the best part about the food is that, even with plenty of people their, food still took very little time to come out (guessing ~10-15 min)
The pricing was on the expensive side though (comparing to Aus prices) as we ordered 1 starter, 2 dinners, 1 dessert, 2 Guinness (pint and 1/2 pint) and 2 coke with the total price of 61.50
Nice bar/lounge with friendly staff and athmosphere. Food and the menu looked nice but only popped in for a quiet pint and chat with a friend so can't comment. Beer garden at back was a nice addition with lots of tables and room. Overall a good experience.
This is some place. Good food and excellent service. Is definitely five star but so are the prices unless you are careful on exactly what you drink and eat. Lots of space and you can book a table. Six of us all loved it.
Great atmosphere and good range of beers. Really helpful staff and the food was great.
If you're in the Baggot street area then it's a good bar to pop into for some good food or after work with a group of friends or colleagues and popular for sports as most are shown on the big screen but I wouldn't head out of town to specifically go here (even though it's not far from the centre)
Very nice restaurant. Very friendly.
We were very hungry and the ribeye was delicious but a bit to small.
Guinness for 5.50 ... just moody but if you want a typical Irish pup because you should go around the corner to wellington
Treated very well - in the snow for my baby girls birthday
Food fine and drinks as well, very pleasant and stylish pub.
Awful experience, staff were very rude. Eggs benedict was OK but the rest of the food was cheap and overcooked.
Had the fish and chips which was good. Surprised to see the price of the dish higher than advertised on the menu. When I asked the waitress what that's about she notified me that "the prices go up in the system after 15:00". If that's the case, I strongly advise you to update your menus accordingly/hand out dinner menus if prices are about to change in the system.
Nice bar, good staff, decent pint and some good whiskey
Told we were too noisy for laughing loudly. In a bar!!!!!
One of the best bars around. Really good bar food, reasonably priced. Staff are always attentive to patrons needs. Ever-improving range of craft beers along with the usual established drinks.
