The hotel isn't super fancy by any means. The design still elegant, however. What really impressed me were the small touches & attention to detail in the design. Spacious restroom, classic room with modernized specs & by far the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in at a hotel. The customer service is exceptional on all fronts here too.

I have been several times for beer fests. It is a nice space very large and well lit. The bathrooms are pretty clean, however are a little on the small side. There are only 5-7 stalls in each of the two women's bathrooms.

Good venue for the craft beer festival, but why did we have to walk ALL THE WAY around. Really? One line of people can't do tickets & give you a wrist band while the next line does IDs? I guess the line would take up the sidewalk, but they could just have us wait where we walked around. I heard other people talking about how weird it was to round one side of the building, do part 1, then round another side to do part 2, etc.

Been here a few times. Rooms are always clean and pretty modern. TVs are HD and mounted on the wall. Overnight parking is reasonably priced. Think it was $36. The staff is always very polite. The in-house bar is a pretty cool place if you don't feel up to leaving the hotel. This place isn't gonna blow your mind, but for $200/night, it's impossible to find better bang for your buck in Boston.

Had lunch on the patio at the restaurant hotel, Tamo. Very accommodating staff to set our group up outside. Appetizers were excellent (had tuna roll, calamari and prosciutto meatballs). The entree, the steak tips, were only OK -- really more served like typical steak frites -- longer, thinner pieces of steak than tips. Drink list was confusing for beer. No differentiation between cans and draft. When I got a can -- Castle Island Keeper -- it was dated seven months old. This is awful for an IPA, and they're doing a disservice to the brewery by serving old beer. All in all, an OK meal, but when the appetizers are the best part ... I'd probably go elsewhere next time.

I've been staying here for the past 5 years whenever we're in town for the Boston Globe Travel Show, which happens right across the street. Everytime I have a easy check-in, except for the last time which was by a new employee and she was a bit slow but I told her I needed to set-up for the show right away, so I left my bags with her and she took the liberty of sending them to my room. Another incident during this cold, winter's day stay was that I accidentally passed my debit card in my rush and they had scharged incidentals on there instead of a credit card that I was supposed to use, but they helped me clear up the problem that night itself and I received my refund on my debit card immediately. The customer service is excellent here! Plus is, the hotel is an award winning green (eco-friendly) hotel and has modern amenities as well as furnishings to boot. The Silver line is about a 5 minute walk away and there are a few good restaurants and bars just a couple blocks away; i.e. No Name Restaurant, Legal Restaurant, Legal Test Kitchen and few more.

Great hotel in super location.
Bright, understated decor. Well designed rooms. Excellent service from all staff. The beds are comfortable and the linens are divine! Going back in November.

We enjoyed a wonderful four night stay here.

We enjoyed a wonderful four night stay here.

The staff were all excellent, went above and beyond to accommodate my special requests (early check-in, late check-out, particular view from the room) and our only issue (room service food that did not meet pur expectation from the description) was resolved promptly without difficulty.

The hotel was beautiful. Room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Fitness center was very good and the indoor pool was a nice plus.

Food and bar on-site were good but very pricey. It was much better to walk less than 10 minutes to the many nearby restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries.

We will absolutely be back!

Up until the checkout bill came, I had considered this the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in, and I've easily spent a full year of my life in hotel rooms across the country since I was a kid.

The room was wonderful. Quiet, roomy, very clean, great shower, comfortable bed, you name it. The staff was very friendly, and we had some excellent (though very expensive) meals at the hotel bar (dinner) and restaurant (breakfast). We expected to pay more for food here though, since it is Boston. Be ready to dish out over $40 for breakfast though!

The reason I put "Poor" for facilities and only "Good" for service is their outright failure to mention the absolute ridiculous cost of parking. When I booked the hotel there was no mention of it (I first found it on Priceline, but wound up booking via the hotel's website since Priceline didn't accept Discover). I was under the assumption that this like every other hotel I've ever stayed at had free parking. We chose to valet the car, as when we arrived it was dark with a snow/rain mix falling, and we honestly did not see where to park the car ourselves. The front desk clerk told us that the hotel was all inclusive, and insisted that we do not tip (which I found odd, I'm very used to tipping), so I figured that the valet was just a service the hotel offered.

Nope. The bill came, $42/day for valet parking. My wife looked it up afterwards and standard parking is still $34/day.

I haven't checked out yet, but I am hoping that for that cost they have washed, waxed, fully detailed and gold plated my car.

Synopsis: If you are staying here without having driven here: I recommend it. If you drove: stay somewhere else. I do not mind paying for quality, but I seriously dislike hidden charges.

Great location in the Seaport district. Easy access to inexpensive travel around the city via the water taxi across the street. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Good value for Boston visitors.

Wonderful hotel, great service. We stay here once a year on our way to our family vacation on the Cape. It's a beautiful hotel and very family friendly. They are walking distance to amazing restaurants and great spots to visit along the water i.e.the aquarium. Hotel rooms are always neat, very clean and comfortable. This year was the first time we stayed for breakfast, the price fix buffet menu is worth the price, $8 for kids and includes their beverages. Adults can enjoy it too with coffee and juice. We had a mix bag, some tried the buffet others off the menu. Their Sammie off the menu was delicious with just enough healthy. The service was on point, just enough to get you what you need but not annoying and noone rushed us. We took our time, enjoyed and left when we were ready. Love this hotel!
