I booked with WCA about 3-4 weeks before going to Victor ID on a family vacation. I spoke with Chris on the phone, told him about my fly fishing experience, strengths, weaknesses, and goals. He recommended a full day float trip on the lower Snake River based on time of year and my fly fishing abilities. I met my guide, Jesse the morning of the trip and we hit it off fairly quickly during the drive to the river. On the water Jesse had me make a few casts to determine my ability, gave me a couple tips for better casting, and I had a fish on my 4th cast! The winds rose to 45mph in the canyon that day and Jesse worked extremely hard to keep me in good casting position. I landed 15+ fish that day and lost a few more. Most of the other guides/anglers we saw at the take-out ramp were talking about landing 5-10 fish even with 2 anglers aboard. Jesse's work on the oars and his intuition to change from dry flies (which were working, but very hard to cast in the wind) to nymphs made all the difference and gave me a very memorable and exciting day!
Subaru Brian took us out on the snake river for the day trip and we had a really good time. He was very knowledgeable and a great teacher. 10/10 would use him again. Lots of good times and lots of fish.

My wife and I did the 2 day Snake River East Fork float last summer and had a great time. Excellent fishing, beautiful country, lots of birds and wildlife. The moose we bumped into was almost as scared of us as we were of her! The camping was great. Friendly staff, very good food and drink. The tents very great and the cot beds excellent! We will do this trip again and would highly recommend for a great experience on top of excellent fishing.
Fishing with WoldCast Anglers is about as great as it gets! I make sure anyone who comes to visit Teton Valley and wants to fish, books with WorldCast! The guides are top-notch, kind, knowledgeable, and care so very much about the industry. For our wedding last fall, we had 6 boats head out with first-timers and seasoned pros: floating the South Fork was their highlight for the weekend! WorldCast helped plan everything and made the day something they will never forget! You can't go wrong.

These are my go to guides in the area for a reason. They fish all of the water around there and have a great shop. Albeit they can run out of some flies like a lot of Western Shops in the height of things; they will give you good advice on where to go and what to fish for without being rude.

I just recently participated in the Fall session of Western Rivers Guide School (ran by World Cast Anglers in Victor, ID), and can honestly that it was the best 7 consecutive days of my entire life. All of the instructors in the course are veteran guides and offer blue-ribbon knowledge that unparalleles anything you can learn from reading a book. I recommend this course not just to those who are interested in being guides but to anyone who wants to drastically excel their knowledge in fly fishing, conservation, etymology, rowing, and fishing outfitters. Furthermore, outside of all the knowledge this class has to offer the experience and fun I had with my fellow classmates and instructors was incredible. Thinking about signing up for the spring class just because I had so much fun!
My wife and I fished the South Fork of the Snake River yesterday and had a terrific experience. Our guide was Brenda and she was amazing with her knowledge of fly fishing, the river and ability to maneuver the boat in swift current. This was my wife's first fly fishing experience and Brenda made her feel at ease. World Cast Anglers did a great job and I would highly recommend them. I know we'll be back on our next trip to Jackson, Wy.

I called the shop the day before to confirm our plans and they fed me a total BS fishing report. Wasted two hours of driving because they switched rivers and got a very late start on a very hot day. Nice guys but not impressed with the way they run things.

Spent a day on section 4 of the snake with Joe - Nothing but great things to say about the shop or Joe. Joe took the time to teach both myself and my 10 year old son how to fly fish, We had a great time and landed 12 fish between us on our first day of fly fishing .. Thank you.
My buddy and I fished the lower snake with Erik White in late summer of 2016. He made a game time decision to get away from the crowds and throw big foam patterns. Great decision. We hooked up on many fish, had lots of laughs and had a great day. Erik knows his stuff and is very personable. I would highly recommend him as a guide.
My wife and I recently booked a last minute half-day float trip with Erik "Whitey" White, while on vacation for the week in Idaho and it was one of the best experiences of our whole trip (and possibly lives). Whitey knows the Henry's Fork like the back of his hand and it proved with multiple fish netted that day. I highly recommend booking a trip with WorldCast, and you should especially request Whitey as your guide. Our only regret was not booking a full-day. There's no doubt, we will be back.
I did an overnight float trip with some friends and stayed at " The Hilton" camp. It was one of the best and most memorable experiences ever. The service provided by their guides is above and beyond. Everything was perfect.
I honestly cannot day enough good things about this guide service/outfitter. Spent 5 days on the water with their guides, Mike Janssen, Will Ezell, Joe Harris, Erik White (2x) and all of them exceeded my expectations. They are all super fishy and know where to find fish. They run a tight ship and meet you early and put in a full day on the water with you. Definitely will book another trip with them next year.
The whole experience was amazing, something to remember for a lifetime. The staff was friendly, professional and so very knowledgeable. I was never made to feel less than a novice and someone willing to learn.

These guys are awesome. Had an amazing fishing trip with these guys. Our guide, Ryan christiansen,(i hope i didnt butcher that) put us on the fish the entire time. We had no idea how to flyfish and this dude made us look like experts, he took the time to teach us and even gave us major pointers to help land some good ones. Lunch was awesome, great sandwiches and epic views! The funnest was learning how to dry-fly and the great and funny conversations we had as we were slaying away at the fish. Our entire group had a great time and recapped our visit over dinner. We had an absolute blast out there! Thank you Ryan and world cast! Im definately gonna book another trip soon!

I have used these guys twice now for two day float trips on the Snake River, their guides are amazing, friendly, paitient (even when a couple of newbies are getting tangled constantly) and most importantly we always catch fish, and alot of them. Thanks to Keith for putting us on the fish and helping my dad land one of the biggest brown trout I have ver seen!

Worst fly shop in the valley! I would recommend this shop to my worst enemy. Horrible customer service. The guys in there are about as knowledgeable as slugs. I recommend going to TRR or anywhere else. Get off your high horses!

I had one of the best days of my life on the Snake River, I'm so glad your team was able to suggest a path that got us on the fish. It was literally one after the other, and it made my special vacation with my dad so memorable. We fished in early October on the Idaho side. The geography was gorgeous, we saw bald eagles, blue herons, and I caught the grand slam of fish species (rainbows, browns, cut-throats, whitefish)
Tim Watters was really awesome, he knew the terrain, the water, and was a kind and generous person. The lunch was great and we even were able to catch fish while anchored, eating our sandwiches!
This has raised the bar for any other guide experience we'll have in the future.
Went on the overnight fishing trip and had an absolute blast. The guides were not only professional and accommodating, but friendly and all around great people. Top marks across the board!
The "Gordon" party has been coming to Idaho to fish for over a decade. Every trip has been booked with WCA. Excellent guides and excellent service. We are booked for mid June this year, can't wait!!!
World Cast Anglers is a top tier outfit to fish out of. I've fished with Erik White (Whitey) twice on two different sections of the river. Whitey made each trip great, he is patient with new fly fisherman as well informative on how to improve your skills. If you haven't been fishing here move it to the top of your list.
