I always find Scottco to be a step above. They are ran very professionally. I found them to be a very reasonable on price. I always hear they are so much higher but honestly, very reasonable.

I had a plumbing leak which Greg A. took care of for me. He arrived in a timely manner and was very professional and pleasant. He got the job done.

Ronnie did a terrific job of flushing out our water heater & checking all the plumbing in the house. He also left us some prices for plumbing that we might need in the future. SO appreciate his service.

Greg did an excellent job. He not only diagnosed the problems with two 100 gallon hot water heaters, but he pulled the burners and cleaned them and once the damper motors came in he made sure he tested everything t be sure it was igniting and working properly. Great job.

Technician came to replace a 50-gal natural gas water heater. Straight forward install in a 12-year old home. Quoted $1400. The water heater quoted was Rheem and only cost $500. $900 for labor and materials is excessive.

Called Scottco and a technician came out that morning, and I know this is the busy part of the season. Technician was friendly, professional, and fast. I will use again. And highly recommend.

Greg was on time and quickly diagnosed that we needed a new disposal. It was a little pricey, but well worth the ease and quickness! We ll use Greg again!

Two thumbs up for Anthony with Scottco! Our sewage line was backed up due to tree roots growing in our pipe. Anthony snaked out out line, not once, not twice, but three times! On the last run, he pulled out a large hunk of tree roots. Many thanks to Anthony for his hard work and persistence.

Best service I've had! My whole house was shut down due to a drain blockage that goes out to the alley. Water had overflowed out of both downstairs toilets, showers and bathtubs. The plumber came out within an hour. I received a courtesy call and photo by email letting me know he was coming. Best of all he told me the price for a drain stoppage before he started. We were cleared in about 30 minutes. I won't use any other company again.

I could not ask for a more pleasant, friendly person. Greg tried to repair my old disposal and showed me the problem area before suggesting I install a new one. After assessing the problem I agreed. He brought in a replacement and installed it with professional ease. We love our new one. It is so quiet. Our old one was supposed to be quiet but wasn't. I am even more convinced we needed a new one. Thank you Greg. By the way, Scotto always does my repairs without delay.

These guys don t Repair, they only want the diognostics fee. The Ac fan went out and I called them to come take a look at it to see what the problem was. I paid them$55.00 diagnostics fee and I was told that they re not able to fix it and I needed to get a whole new unit which costs over $4,000. Next day I found a guy that fixes AC and he replaced my fan for under $200 and now my Ac has been running like a champ for over two weeks with no problem plus 6 months warranty.

Morning of November 27, 2015 (Black Friday).....Ice storm and cold.....Furnace not coming on. Called Scottco and told them my problem that furnace not working and no heat. Amanda got me scheduled and told me I would have service sometime during the day. Cory called me back in approximately one hour and told me he had a technician he could send over. The technician came over (CJ is his name) and checked everything out and then explained everything he did and checked to me in language I can understand. Outstanding young man. $69.95 later my furnace is heating like it should and I am one toasty, satisified ScottCo customer. I highly recommend this group. This is the second time I have used them in a year and have nothing but positive to say about them.

Zack T. came to my house to service my heating unit. I could not have been more pleased with service. He was very professional and informative in addressing the issue as well as explaining the solution.

Ronnie came to my house twice this week - once for a maintenance check and once for repairs. He was on time, answered all of my questions, and provided good quality work.

Have used them for water heater replacement, cut out installs, and under ground pipe replacement. Their workmanship is excellent.

The kind of review I would give Scottco might lead others to believe I actually work for the company myself. I used Scottco a few times prior to leaving the Amarillo area several years ago. From previous experience, I feel confident having them taking care of any issues that may come up at my mom s place. When she needs a reliable plumber or HVAC tech, who am I going to call? Scottco! Had the Heating and AC unit replaced at her place about a year ago. Scottco got her fixed up with no hassle. Greg Anderson replaced a water heater for her yesterday and did a great job! He was very professional, informative and friendly. Anthony Lee is also a great guy to deal with. He took care of a drain clog earlier this year, and was easy to work with as well. Scottco will always tell you what the work will cost up front. They explain any options for the scope of work and only suggest reputable brand units if/when needed. They also let you know when to expect the workmen. Quality of the work is outstanding every time. Been doing business with these guys for years and would highly recommend them to anyone. We had our annual HVAC system maintenance today and Mr. Greg Anderson was our Service Plumbing Technician. Greg did an outstanding job of letting us know the condition of the plumbing systems in our home. We needed some estimates for recommended plumbing repairs and updates. Greg was very thorough and provided us with the cost of the repairs and the amount of time the repairs would take.

Most of of all Greg . . . listened to our needs and used his professional experience to make recommends of various ways to fix our problems.

Greg is an outstanding representative for "Scottco" and we look forward to him working in our home . . . once we make our decision on what plumbing updates that we need.

They truly care about their customers. They came earlier than expected to an emergency plumbing issue. The technician was great. He got the plugged line opened quickly and made sure it was operational before he left.

Greg was very thorough and professional, he was always aware of what I wanted as a customer and did his best to provide it.

Greg was very prompt, courteous, clean, and he was always professional. He made sure to give all options (with pricing), and did not push anything. He was very receptive to questions and did the job (circulating pump and hot water heater replacement) professionally and skillfully. Called on Monday morning to make an appointment for Wednesday afternoon. Was told that they would show up between 1 and 6 in the afternoon. At 5:30 received phone call saying it would be another 2 hours before they showed up. Told them to forget it I would call someone more reliable.

Ive had the 17$ Scottco monthly service plan for 2 years to maintain my heating/air and plumbing. Scottco has come out to do their AC checks since that time twice and i have complained that my AC is not working properly, runs always and doesnt cool which has caused 300$ summertime electric bills. Both times i was reassured that my AC is running fine. Finally after my outside units compressor fan went out I made the decision call a different company, after looking over my system the other company told me my system was overcharged and not cooling properly they fixed the issue that Scottco hadnt found in two years ive wasted more than 400$ plus my high electric bills on Scottco and will never use them again

They are on time, professional and informative. They call to keep me on the schedule for making sure everything is working correctly and change filters.

I called Scottco for a second opinion on a bathroom plumbing issue. I knew they would be closing soon, and was surprised they would send someone out the next morning- very quick. Ronnie checked it out, explained our options & got to work. Once he was able to clear our line, he double & triple checked to make sure there was no additional clog. I'm definitely glad I called Scottco & would use them again should the need arise (but hopefully not too soon lol) :)

Brenten did an excellent job of assessing the problem and applying the necessary fix for our heater. Didn't take him long either, it was simply cleaning out a valve that fixed the problem. Thanks a bunch! This is why we trust Scottco! Don't do unnecessary things..they just fix the problem.

Very fast responce and the service man who did the work was quite knoweledgeable about the product he was working on, I nice change from some previous contractors I have seen here locally. I will definatly use this company in the future when needed.

I called a Scottco on a Sunday after calling 3 other places. The other places either didn t call me back or said they don t do out of town on weekends. It was going to be 110 that particular day. Scottco called me within 15 minutes and told me they could come out or wait until Monday morning. They were there Monday before 9 am and had it fixed in 30 minutes.

If I ever need anything with my AC again, I ll be calling Scottco. Thank you so much!!!

I like the idea when we ask for estimates I get a honest answer than you wait till I get the money to do the job, professionally and as quickly as possible.

Calvin came out to find out why my Heating and Air Conditioning Unit was making a loud cracking sound every time the Unit came on,.......He checked on it and then helped me change my Filters.....Excellent young man and very efficient in getting the job done. Very personable and friendly. I would definitely use his services again!

Greg A. was very helpful with our problem we were having with our drain in the guest bathroom. If it hadn't been for his professionalism we never would have known that our drain pipe was eroded so the water from the tub had been leaking under our house the whole time. We will definitely be calling him again for any future plumbing needs.

Scottco is always helpful and knowledgeable. Any of their employees that they send out give you the information you need to make a good decision on new systems. I especially enjoy their Super Service Club. I know that every time Scottco comes out to check on my systems that they are going to inform me if there is a problem and give me a solution. I highly recommend this company.

Had Scottco install an HVAC, worst experience I've ever had with a service company. Where do I start? Lack of communication and open hostility between the sales and installation teams. Service guys screaming the F word in my attic all afternoon, cursing the incompetence of the sales people. Unfixed damage caused during installation, huge mess they left after two service visits to get the installation correct.

NEVER AGAIN.

If something pops up requiring a plumber, HVAC technician or electrician I can always count on Scottco to get me properly taken care of promptly! Being a Super Service Club member is totally worth the monthly fee to get priority services at a discount!!

Greg and Josh have been beyond helpful and so patient with the plumbing, AND gas repairs we needed done to sell our home. Prompt, efficient, and friendly. They answered all of my questions with respect. You can tell they care that the job is done correctly and in a timely manner.

Awesome, friendly service. Was the second person to come fix our A/C...first business that came out said nothing was wrong, but there definitely was. Ashlee diagnosed the system, discovered, and fixed the problem where the other company didn't. House is back to normal. Totally recommend.

I had a water heater replaced. I purchased the new water heater separately. I paid $800 to have the new water heater changed out and remove the old one. The time for this performance was an hour and 15 minutes. If plumbing labor is $150 an hour on the high side, why was I charged in essence $640 an hour for the labor(less the removal)?

Calvin S. was here to do the annual spring hvac check. He was very friendly, very thorough, and communicated with a positive energy even though it was very late in the day. He was professional and yet provided a level of friendly down home service that left us feeling confident with his work. He is welcome back anytime! Scottco is lucky to have him!

UPDATE: I HAVE BEEN CONTACTED BY SCOTTCO AND ASSURED THAT THE MATTER WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF. I AM SURE THAT THEY WILL LIVE UP TO THEIR WORD.
6 month old HVAC unit malfunctioned. Thermostat not wired correctly, heat pump locked out, all unbeknownst to me. 425$ electric bill showed up in January. Scottco says all is now fixed but they're not interested in helping me pay this exorbitant electric bill. I'm a monthly paying customer to their super savers club. What did that get me? Nothing. Very disappointed that they'll fix their shoddy work and appliance but leave me footing the electric bill.

Scottco sent service techs from all three trades the same afternoon, so I only lost one afternoon. They arrived at the promised time. Each wore booties to keep our house clean. They cleaned up after.

Calvin did a great job! Thorough, professional, and pleasant.

Our drains were backing up all over the house. They called and let me know the technician was available if I was ready. He was super nice and got all the drains going great. The real wow factor was the technician explained everything to me and answered all of my 4 year old's questions. They are great!

I'm not a fan of leaving bad reviews on anything or anyone. Scottco did an inspection for us when we were selling our house. The inspection included a $12,000 bid on a sewer line that needed to be repaired. Three separate plumbers came out to give us a bid and all three agreed there was no problem at all. Asking other people we found out that Scottco is known for this... high bids on jobs that don't need to be repaired. Just be careful!!

Just had Scottco by the house for a tune up of the ol' air conditioning. The young Technician was very polite, and you can tell he really enjoys his job. It was rainy out, but every time he had to come back in the house, he was sure to wipe his feet. Sounds silly, but attention to little details like that speak volumes to the quality of work he puts into his job. Great service job! I would recommend them. Also super nice to the pets!

Calvin was prompt, courteous and extremely helpful. His solution to my A/C problem was not cheap, but it solved the problem. He made me glad I called ScottCo for service.

I was having issues with my air conditioning unit and I have had a couple of other great experiences with Scottco so I decided to give them a call. The Tech showed up and quickly addressed the problem and explained what had happened. He did good quality work and the price was affordable. Greg assessed the situation quickly and took action. He was accurate in his assessment of the problem and fixed it quickly. He showed me all the problems and told me what he was going to do before he did it. When he was done, he showed me the fix. When I bought my house Scottco was the chosen contractor of the seller. They were supposed to replace some duct work under the house in which was on the receipt. So it was charged and I had saw a brand new box of soft duct. I assumed it was completed. After moving in I found low air flow and later found a roll of soft duct in the field that had blown away. Got under the house and surprise surprise the duct had never been replaced. I called and talked to a supervisor and he was to call me back and get things lined out. He never called back or returned my calls. Absolutely trash. Will never use scottco gor anything. Save your money and get a good contractor not after money and not full of lies.
