Perfect place for brunch and catching up with friends. Very friendly atmosphere. The seating is interesting, you get your food and find the seat that suits you at a bar or table. I had the brioche French toast and I highly recommend it. It's very fluffy and tasty. The eggs Benedict was super delicious and designed very artistically. I would totally come back again.

This place was absolutely delicious, we were impressed. My wife enjoyed the pork chops, and it's something that is quite nice because she usually doesn't eat pork but. But she sure ate this one.
Do you yourselves a favor and order the pork chop.
Also the calamari, well it sure was weird looking but it was very delicious, we also recommend that one as well.

Also the waiter was awesome, he gave us these recommendations, well the pork chop and well... he wasn't wrong.

By far one of my favorite restaurants I've ever been to. I LOVE their pastas... make sure to try a few and split since they're on the smaller side. But so beautifully prepared. I also loved the steak and their sandwich too :) a bit on the pricier side but totally worth it.

The portions aren't big. It's a little expensive (beautiful building and Venice Beach location plus pricey ingredients factor) however the papperdelle pasta dish was amazing. Fresh noodles....I mean this is the game changer. I used the bread from my appetizer to soak up all the sauce in the bowl. Absolutely fantastic. I could have eaten two bowls.

I recently went for brunch. The plating was beautiful for most dishes we ordered (see photos), but the quality and flavor I came to expect from Scopa was not there. The crispy biscuits were rock hard and lacking in composure with the accompanying condiments. The fried cauliflower lacked texture and was soggy, which was strange considering it was fried, and was buried in lemon to the point where I couldn't much taste the cauliflower itself. The crispy squash blossoms were dynamite, perfect texture and flavor - I would definitively order again. The soft eggs were boring, overcooked and lacked flavor.. The dish looked beautiful on arrival, but the greens were underseasoned, the eggs overcooked, the sausage strange flavor and consistency, and the polenta bland. The only dish I would order again would be the squash blossoms. Also, the service was severely lacking this particular day, took 30 minutes for us to receive our cocktails, and servers brought another table's dish to our table, twice, only to pick it back up minutes later upon realizing their error. I was sadly a little disappointed with the experience.

Had the T-bone and a pasta. Stuffed mushrooms on the side. Every bit was delicious. Took it to go for covid reasons but the outdoor seating was packed. This is an extremely solid Italian joint worth the price.

Joe if you read this, my pasta sauce broke. That wouldn't fly on master chef

A super trendy spot. The menu is simple and reminds me of what you d see in Italy (most items). The ambiance is beautiful but it was so dark in there you could barely see. I try to only write positive reviews but wasn t super impressed with the meal or the service. The food took extremely long and for the price, the portions are tiny.

This place is always packed and hard to get reservations because this is a very good place. The service was really good too. The server recommend some of better items of the menu and we weren't disappointed. Now that I have tried both of Antonia Lafaso's restaurants Black Market Liquor Bar and Scopa, I would say this is the better of one. I would definitely come back again. The meatballs is aust try and you can never go wrong with any of the pasta dishes.
