I recently went for brunch. The plating was beautiful for most dishes we ordered (see photos), but the quality and flavor I came to expect from Scopa was not there. The crispy biscuits were rock hard and lacking in composure with the accompanying condiments. The fried cauliflower lacked texture and was soggy, which was strange considering it was fried, and was buried in lemon to the point where I couldn't much taste the cauliflower itself. The crispy squash blossoms were dynamite, perfect texture and flavor - I would definitively order again. The soft eggs were boring, overcooked and lacked flavor.. The dish looked beautiful on arrival, but the greens were underseasoned, the eggs overcooked, the sausage strange flavor and consistency, and the polenta bland. The only dish I would order again would be the squash blossoms. Also, the service was severely lacking this particular day, took 30 minutes for us to receive our cocktails, and servers brought another table's dish to our table, twice, only to pick it back up minutes later upon realizing their error. I was sadly a little disappointed with the experience.
