I took my son and he loved it! He was absorbed the whole time and I was impressed with how much thought and creativity they put into each area. There is something interesting and fun for everyone. The most fun is watching our little guy interact with the stations designed for kids.

We spent about 3.5 hrs going around the exhibits, without any paid add ons. We probably could have stayed longer if we didnt have a train to catch (Amtrak & Via Rail station 5 mins away). Conveniently SW have lockers and if you have bigger items they will store these for a donation. Lots of interactive exhibits and some talks going on - we watched the one on Fire and Ice which had an engaging speaker and my daughter was so happy to be a called up as a volunteer.

This place is more geared for children but even adults can find their own entertainment at a good number of their exhibits. It is a very educational and fun place for kids of all ages. There is currently a mirror maze exhibit that I found really cool but it is only up for a limited time so check it out while you still can!

I only wished there were more hours in a day. We arrived a little past noon thinking the kids may only need a few hours to go through the place. In hindsight two days might be the answer for young inquiring minds.
Love it.

Great place to bring kids of all ages. The kids gym is great. I wish there was more food options but bringing a lunch works. We always have a great time and a family pass pays for itself in two visits

Something for kids of all ages (and adults too). I've been impressed with how often they update the various exhibits. Every time I go I find something new. The new Explore area for kids 0-5 is a huge hit with our daughter. She loves the climbing structure, water table, and giant blocks.

Science World is Not For Profit organization that specializes in the education of the public on Scientific topics. They have several permanent galleries as well as a rotating gallery that changes every few months. The staff are cheerful and happy to have discussions with you. They also have "Science Shows" nearly every hour when they're open. I recommend the Electricity Show!

Fantastic venue for adults and kids to learn and be challenged. As a young parent, I was pleasantly surprised to see the extensive and creatively inclusive kids play area for those 0-5. Beside this space is a kids play research centre run by UBC.

We enjoyed the simple explanations of science and excellent interactive exhibits in the kids area. We didn't have time to explore everything as we got there late for a movie. The movie, Beautiful Planet was mesmerizing on the Omnimax screen.

If you live in the neighborhood and have kids (~2 years and above), a membership is a must. There are so many things to to and discover, so that even after going there for 30+ times, it still is great. Especially when it s rainy. They also have a cinema and do special Christmas events for members, etc.

It's an ok way to spend a few hours entertaing younger kids. I personally feel it's too expensive for the experience provided. The extra $8 for the Pixar exhibit is just a blatant cash grab for what should be included in the general admission.

Went with the wife and both toddlers. We had an awesome time. Would definitely not be able to do that in normal times. Came for our allotted timeframe. There was not too many people, it felt very comfortable. Highly recommend.

This place was absolutely awesome and a must do with kids in Vancouver. It was busy with school trips at opening, but mostly cleared out by 1:30. Tons of activities, staff was great and friendly too.

It was great. Although the pandemic has really strained the fun and involvement we can have, things just aren't the same. I understand they need to maintain the establishment but during this time I feel as if the price should drop as a lot of things were not open.

AMAZING!! What more can I say.

AMAZING!! What more can I say.

Bring your kids, no matter their age. And if you don't have kids, you should still go and check it out - bring out your inner-child though, let yourself marvel in the wonders. You'll love it!

Science World is always a super fun experience with great exhibits. This latest time I visited during a Science World After Dark event (adults only!). The Pixar exhibit was on and it was great! I also loved the rest of the exhibits and actually getting to test them out with out kids around. I was also very impressed with the Body Works exhibit which was surprisingly informative and geared towards positive body image, gender identity, sexuality and genetics. I'm looking forward to the next evening event!
