A fun and exciting place to visit and/or take out of town visitors. With new exhibitions every few months, you can always see something new on every visit. The IMAX theatre is also located here!
A great venue to rent for special occasions too! Ask to speak to an events person for pricing and availability.

It's a really cool science museum! There are things to see and do that are fun for both kids and adults. There is also a dome IMAX theater inside. Best part is that they do an adult night every once in a while, and serve beer and wine.
Watch out for impark because if you go over your time, it's a 65 dollar fine. Total rip off because what you pay to get in Science World parking should be free. I would also like to add that you don't have to pay fines on private lots. Just be sure to change your license plate so if you park there again you don't get towed.
My kids love it here! The yearly membership is definitely worth it. The new Curiocity "exhibit" is great, as are the space area and science garage I wish that all of the exhibitions were included with admission as it can be prohibitively expensive.
This place is great. A must see in Vancouver if you have kids. There are activities for all ages, but you will get the most out of it if you kids are grade 5+.
Very fun and interactive. You learn a lot there! Try taking the time to read everything. Was crowded with school buses when J went but still enjoyable. The earlier the better
Science World is a best place for all ages. If you want spend a nice time with your family, learn and discover something new is the right place to go. I have a four year child and we have a membership card and the next year I will do it again. There has a nice playground indoor so in cold times I have this awesome option to go with him.
Great place to spend half a day there. Educational content for kids. Kids and adults alike get to learn amazing science stuff and broaden their horizon. chuck the car and take the train as parking prices are sky high. Conveniently located next to train station so complaints. If you intend to visit more than once, get the yearly pass which gives entry to many other museums across other locations. Please note that some other places inside the museum like Pixar and Dome theater require you to purchase tickets separately, so plan accordingly.. Make the kids hangout in the play area and stroll through the herb garden.
Food options are extremely limited and expensive. Carry a meal or snacks and an empty water bottle. Note : No public washrooms unless you buy tickets
Loved it! Watched the history of the Canadian railways on the huge dome screen & learned much about space and time, and the human body. They also teach kids about environmental issues in a fun way which is critical. A place for adults and kids alike:)
Amazing interactive displays ! Informative information for parents to explain to children. Fun for the geeks at heart . Great for 2-120 yo . Friendly staff. Cafe with burgers and few sandwiches, very slow service here.
Great for toddlers!! We are going regularly with out 20 months old son and he LOVES it !! The toddler area is great with many activities. Highly recommended!
This is a wonderful place for children. Has handicapped parking access. Great washing facilities. Wonderful place right by the water with restaurant and eating area. If you don't want to spend the money for the food, you can bring your own food and place it in the lockers and eat in the to cafeterias. Try the engineering exhibit. At the moment there is also a wonderful Pixar movie exhibit that is well worth the extra price of admission. Also there are many different kinds of science parts for different interest.
Amazing if you want your kid to have fun all day long, they not only place but learn also, there is also a discovery play play for kids 0-5 years. If you go on tuesdays triple o has burger on promotion.
Really cool! Lots of exhibits and various activities and interactive exhibits. The scientific film shown in the room that projects the image on the ceiling is a must!
Science World is awesome. Yes, now that I'm an adult and have been probably 40+ times in my life, the charm is wearing off somewhat. Still awesome though, especially for kids.
Always has cool new exhibits that come through town. A must see, with incredible interactive experiences and funky gadgets all over the place. It's a fun place for all ages.
Science World is expensive, out of date, barely features any cutting-edge physics and almost entirely for children. The only positive thing I would say is the staff was excellent.
Can get pricey if you don't have a membership, but worth it. Kids have endless fun, we go several times a year and never a day where it isn't full of wonder.
I like visiting there each time I went science world. They have different ideas and subject for presentation gallery.kids always love watching movies in big theatre in there.
Went there for a party, they have an amazing setup of things GSM for kids to do while the others can enjoy the party. Just felt like the staff was not as organized as they should have been.
Science World is a great outing for adults and kids alike. You'll especially enjoy the Ken Spencer Outdoor park! Kids explore outdoor activities, learn about urban gardening and even get to meet chickens!! Inside there are many hands on science exhibits for all ages. Definitely a great family outing guaranteed! Science is the best!!! :)
It is super recommended to go with children, it is nice and you can bring your food if you want .... recommended going to the dome cinema is an incredible experience
