One of my favourite places when I was a kid and just returned for the first time in over a decade with my toddler and it was amazing! So many interactive features perfect for young and old. Can't wait to make more memories here with my son.
I went when it was under construction. So many exhibits were closed and yet we were not offered a discount!! Even when it's not under construction though, I think it's pretty expensive for what you get..
Took the grandkids on Sunday to see Amazon Adventure and Ripley's at Science World. OMG!! WHAT A RIP OFF!!! Quality of the film was horrible...seats were built in the 1900's or for people under 4 feet tall, film quality was bad not to mention torquing my neck to see the entire screen hurt..!! Ripley's consisted of things you could make 1,000 copies of easily and showcase around the world - NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING!!! And that Titanoboa exhibit was a huge disappointment. I should have just looked at these things at my computer at home, and save the over $100.00 admittance fee (2 kids and 2 adults) PLUS the $50 burger and fries lunch.. WE WOULD NEVER RETURN!!!!! My husband said the puzzles at the tables on display were the same as when he was in school decades agol!!! TIME TO SPEND SOME OF THAT GRANT AND DONATION MONEY AND UPGRADE!!!!!!! HORRIBLE that a big city like Vancouver can have such a crappy, outdated, over priced, OLD event!! Hated it...
Should be made more clear that the target audience is aged 3-10. Very boring for adults, certainly not worth a visit when you're 12+
So fun even for kids as young as 3. I loved this place as a kid all the way till now.
Some really excellent exhibits here that kept the kids occupied for 3-4 hrs. Especially great was the fact that this museum has reciprocal arrangements with many others across Canada and elsewhere. We're members of the Ontario Science Centre and that got us in here. Excellent tech, body and imagination galleries. Definitely worth the visit.
Went for the dome theatre. It was an awesome experience. Felt like the closest thing to VR without putting on headsets.
My 2 year old son really enjoy science world. We go about 1-2 times a week. Each time, he can also find something new to have fun with. The new mirror maze is his favorite
Amazing and so awesome that so much of it is simply open to discover for yourself as an adult or a child. Even I could get lost for hours on learning and having fun!
I went with my 5 year old daughter. We had a blast. She.loved it. Beautifully ddsigned. We spent 4 hours and had a blast.
Took kids to water table outside science world... Bring a few hot wheels or barbies and come play in the water
I have never been inside this building but it is phenomenal attraction to come and take photos of at night!
I visited Vancouver for only 4 days but enjoyed it as much as possible and the building is definitely a Vancouver icon as it reflects off the water in front of it. Absolutely stunning!
Impressive facilities. I had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with my while family ! Great memories
Theres not very much to do here if you're an young adult with no kids.
Very nice but as an adult you have to go on an adult evening otherwise it is very crowded with children but still great experiments and you can learn a lot. With much use it takes about 2.5 hours
First time there with our 6 year old daughter who absolutely loved it. Lots of variety too. Was busy but not a deterrent. Spent 4 ish hours there and still didn't see everything.
Cool place for photo ops especially at night. I haven't been in though. Parking lot is lit and safe but you do have to pay to park which is fine. Definitely worth stopping by.
Nice place to visit with the children. They will love it a lot.
Great place for kids. Everyone should go at least once in there life.
If you have children this place is great. For adults it's lacking for the price.
Hands on experience and some very interesting exhibits. There were quite a few kids here which took away from the experience a bit, however I learned now that there are occasionally adults only Science World evenings which would be a great time!
Was there for the Vancouver club crawl. They had a cool setup, but incredibly pricey drinks.
Great place for kids. But make sure they wash their hands constantly. You would understand when you smell the air inside.
Very educational and comprehension for kids. Different levels of the exhibitions here, accompanied with shows for the kids. We enjoyed the building falling show with the balls hitting here.
The best. I love our Telus World of Science in Edmonton so I used my pass to go to Science World in Vancouver.
It was very enjoyable. Their exhibits were layed out nicely. And the activities were fun and easy to get into.
The kids area was busy as heck. I wouldn't feel super comfortable with my kids in there. But it did look fun so finding a less busy time to go is recommended if you have kids under 6.
There's a quiet area exhibit which was neat and relaxing.
Great location commanding the view of the river and city. Also good place for kids to get familiar with science.
Great place to bring the family to learn a little science. Even better on adults night when doing all the activities while tipsy on a few bevies.
My child never wants to leave. So it must be great!
Fun science museum with many interactive exhibits. I was there during a conference event, and the catering was also very good.
I've attended a few events hosted at this venue. A memorable event was the Halloween murder mystery!
I went there for work experience. Was one of the best experiences in my life.
It is awful people there are rude and a bunch of jerks.
Great place for the whole family! Adults can have fun or rest while letting their energetic kids have a lot of fun!
Always a wonderful visit on a scenic landscape. Love it for me and the kida
Excellent place,, the mirror maze ace, you could spend a full day there no problem, good for all ages x
Good experience for kids, but not much for anyone over high school age.
Very nice for children. For adults? Personally, I thought it didn't have anything 'wow'
Science World is a must for anyone wanting to tour the attractions of the city. Always lots for anyone up all ages to experience. Never a dull moment and even when it's busy it's not too crowded. Definitely worth every penny!!
After going here I believe the purpose of this facility would be more of an Educational Center for kids. As an adult I was very disappointed due to the lack of relevant information for today's level of Technology.
A early entry for adults would be nice.
Some suggestions:
The price also seems a bit steep for a couple without kidos, as we where done in < 2 hrs. Instead of $25 + HST, $20 with HST included.
Create a foreigner package,
Day Pass for transit
Science World admission
Aquarium admission

It is a amazing science place. Specially for kids and tourists. It is a lot of fun. I do really recommend this.
We were there for three hours and it's wasn't enough
Could be better for the price you pay at admission.
Just love this place. Going there ia always a small celebration, when staying indoors, as well as on the playground outside. Kids love it there.
I went to their IMAX and it was an experience worth remembering!
Awesome place but they closed the most interesting part early when we were there for an event. Considering the tickets are 20$, I would have liked to stay a little longer.
I love the science center all though they need to maintain exhibits and try to explain the science in more detail
Great educational place but I think mainly for kids and family outings
Great Speaker! Free learning experience! can't go wrong
Great place for families to bring children to learn about various new subjects. The first floor exhibition changes a few times a year, so be sure to go if it interest you. I also recommend watching the dome movie, it was quite fascinating.
Great place to get lost with your kids. The little ones love every inch of the space. Great option for a whole day.
Great fun, very entertaining and educational for the whole family.
Great Place! For kids and for all. I find with the kids I have to be informed to be able to answer questions because Science World truly opens up many questions.
Went for one of their after dark events... Loved it. Part of the charm for me was that I grew up visiting the place, and had fond memories of it. As this was a special event, they brought in speakers from Image Engine to talk about some of the special effects work they did on Jurassic World - which was the highlight of the evening. They also had some fun little science demos. All of the hands on exhibits were open too, and without kids around, one was able to fool around with them for probably more time than they'd normally be able to. Alcohol was available for purchase at relatively reasonable rates.
If you haven't been to an after-dark event at Science World, and have a bit of an inner child, or find the guest speaker they have presenting interesting, you should go.
Incredible place for children of all ages, the activities in the various areas make your 5 senses work in tune and you learn and become more sensitive.
Lots for kids to do but you have to be assertive. Hasn't changed much since we last visited 3-4 years ago.
This is a great place to remain rooted in the little joys of science experiments. Children or adults, whoever has an appreciation for science and innovation will have a great time here and want to keep coming back. Membership is a bit on the expensive side but worth it if you plan to go here even once per month.
Good place for kids to explore, learn and play. Most of the exhibits they have will keep you occupied for a few hours each visit. A little expensive, but the family annual pass is worth it if you can make use of it.
Plenty of activities for my princess. Easy 2 hrs to get tired before her nap.
Go late afternoon for less crowded.
Awesome to have a Triple O's, what a view while sipping on a chocolate milkshake!
I go there quite a bit I highly recommend watching a movie there in imax
It's better to go with family, not very fun for couples.
Amazing place to visit. My kids really enjoyed our trip here.
Who knew that this was the perfect place to take a three year old on a rainy day?
