I came here for my son birthday, and he loved it!! So many cool exhibitions and teaching you about the environment and how to protect it. The staff are also very friendly. The only thing I did not like was that the gift shop staff were a little rude when asked to return something I bought from there.

This is a fun place to come every once in awhile, I like to come here when they have new exhibits. The last one we saw was Pixar behind the scenes. This was an interesting look into how Pixar designs their characters as well as animates. I like that they had stations for you to play around with the animation and see how much work goes into making these wonderful movies!

Great place to take my son. He loves it and it is a nice escape on a rainy day. My one gripe with the place is that many of their exhibits break down which, given the number of kids that go through that place, is totally understandable. What's frustrating is that it often takes months for what are seemingly small issues to be fixed. It feels like some more attention needs to be placed on the maintenance of the facility.

Otherwise, great shows. Great exhibits. Will continue to go.

The science museum is fantastic, I had never visited a museum with so much interaction for children and why not adults. My daughter was entertained for hours here, there is a diner where we had lunch. I recommend.

Went and saw an IMAX film here. Awesome experience! Massive screen, great seating. My first time and it was amazing.
I didnt go in the science centre(we only got the IMAX tickets), but there were a lot of people.

Fun for all ages. My two year old had an amazing time at the eureka exhibit. The new (to me) kids area was a blast as well. Kids under 3 are free, and a yearly membership isn't too, too bad.

It was a great development till the Vancouver Sun yesterday on FB published plans for daylighting the creek.
The soils under the south end of Science World parking lot, Creekside Park, & north end of Navio are contaminated with PCBs, Lead & other Heavy Metals. This is not a place for a restored estuary without major remediation. We cannot be exposing children, terrestrial wildlife, birds & the marine environment. Herring are already returning to False Creek to Spawn & Salmon will hopefully do so again in future.

These Love Chanel level wastes cannot be just opened up to the environment without major remediation.

Maybe a daylighted creek is possible farther North, either side, right up tight to Science World.

We got the year pass as an option to take regularly my toddler on rainy days or days when we don't know we're to go. It is great if you have kids under 6 they have a very cool play area plus the usual science world stuff. There is also triple o s to eat and lots of space to run around.

Always a great time! Science World itself never fails to amaze but it is very pricey. If, like me, you find yourself always short on cash you can take in a movie at the Omniplex for $12 without going into Science World. Shows run an average of 45 minuets and it is the best way to watch a documentary film. The pictures are so clear you will feel like you are right there with the cameramen! This is a high recommendation for anyone wanting to inspire a love for science in their children.

An interactive museum, 100% recommended for children and adults. A place that you have to visit in Vancouver and that at least 3 hours are required, to know and enjoy the basics. It is surprising from its exterior design.

It's just for kids, anyone expecting anything like a science museum will be sorely disappointed. It keeps the pre-teens amused for an afternoon but I wouldn't say it achieves much more than that.
A lot of the exhibits date back from the 80s - early 90s. Give it another decade and it can probably dress up that neglect and sell itself as a retro themed place.
I wish scientific education was more highly valued in the area.

I spent the afternoon here for sightseeing. Unfortunately, time is running out to get inside Science World (close at 5pm). So I decided to go for a walk and find out some information about this place.
The first point is the statues of two scientists. That is the highlight that you encounter as soon as you arrive at the main gate area.
The surrounding area is an outdoor play complex for children and pedestrians and cyclists.
Having a small marina right next to it is also an attraction.
I will definitely go back and get inside the building to find out more about this place.

Great!

Pixar!
