Went to White Spot and there was a mouse running in and out of the kitchen area. Concerned about the cleanliness due to the presence of rodents and the in and out nature from the prep area to public space. Staff seemed less then concerned and this may mean it happens regularly. Would avoid eating here.

I have a membership here, and come frequently with my small son. The staff are friendly and the presentations they have are engaging. Their exhibits are well laid-out, and educational. The new Wonder Gallery is great, though still a bit crowded.

Great for toddlers and up. Hours of activities and fun. Weekends are understandably busy but still a lot of fun. Weekdays are great if you can do it. Much less people there. You can buy food inside or pack snacks to bring in.

Love it, super kids friendly. Too bad they had to close early due to new year's eve. But they did tell us before we purchased the tickets. Two hours is just enough for the basic stuff without the Pixar add-on, which can be purchased later if you want for the same price. Also a playground right outside as well. Holiday parking was a little pricey. $20 until 9pm.

Very interesting and great place to take children mainly, because many technological and environmental things, everyone should know this place.
Many ideas and knowledge we learn. I really enjoyed it, and it's worth checking out.

Spent ages here and thoroughly enjoyed the interactive displays. Very helpful volunteers to show you how displays worked and the science behind them. Wasn't happy to find out I weighed as much as a Giant Beaver (extinct) but I can work on that. Great way to spend our past afternoon in Vancouver. Every single time we've gone to Science World, our kids have picked up a cold/flu bug. All that hands-on, all those kids = germ festival. Be prepared for a few sick days after your trip.

I really enjoy the various exhibits and interactive stations put in at science world. It is an especially fun place to bring my little guy (2 years old) since they have a few different play structures he can interact with. That said, they seem to be implementing additional charges on nearly everything, which makes the experience more frustrating as you feel limited in what you can do or see on a budget. It was a frustrating new experience for me that the featured exhibit (Pixar) wasn't even included in my regular admission!

Probably one of the better choices for indoor activities for the kids during the wet and cold months if you purchase the family membership. My kid's ages range from 7 to 3 yrs old. They haven't told me "they want to leave now" after only arriving 20 mins earlier. We go probably twice a month for the past year. The exhibits change quite often but even their static exhibits keep my kids busy for 2 - 4 hours. The best feature of the family membership is free or discounted access to associated museums in Canada and United States. Just check their website for details and a list.

Way too expensive. They didn't even tell us it was closing soon when we arrived with an hour left. We paid extra for Pixar... Super expensive and once you've seen it you have seen it all. Some of the exhibits are getting really old and breaking or not working anymore. Exhibits that were new when I was young are breaking or obsolete. They need to do a complete makeover... Which they must have the money for since its so expensive to get in!

One of the best children museums in the world in my opinion. Hands on experience, demonstration on stage and engaging for all the way up to middle schoolers. But fun for the whole family for sure.

sure, I miss the oooooooold days in the late 90's coming here all the time with my family.. new things all the time.. these days I still do go occasionally but it seems more run down, less new stuff.. however they do put on interesting after-hours events now which can be fun!

So many fun things for kids to do. Spent 4 hours there and there was certainly more exploring that could have been done.
I went multiple times as a kid and am happy to share this place as a memory with my kids now.
From our 7 year old to our 1 year old all four kids has a blast in every area we were in.
