I'm only gonna give it a 1 star rating cause you can't give it any less, but their handling of the Asleep at the Wheel show was TERRIBLE & UNCALLED FOR!!!!.

Great place for C&W music and dancing. Lots of cowboys and cowgirls. Decent bar. The food is terrible. You order at the bar and wait 45 min for it to be stacked on the end of the bar in styrofoam containers. Skip the food and enjoy the music.

It has an amazing dance floor...a good place for either date night or for a fun family activity. I really very much enjoyed this place

Super friendly staff was a pleasure to work with... Especially security and bartenders... Who kept the whole place tidy!! Loved playing here! Very special place.

Wonderful New Year's Eve party at the historic but updated Schroeder Hall, one of the oldest dance halls in Texas!! The house band was terrific!!! Proceeds for the night went to area VFD and other area needs. A great place to celebrate the new year with family and friends!

Food is on point do not eat there if the cook's not there

Beautiful dance hall with a perfect mix of old-fashioned country barn and modern updates. It's a bit out-of-the way and worth the drive. I hope to return for an outdoor concert on that great outdoor stage.

There was a 10 dollar cover charger and the beers were 3 dollars had a great time.The band was great

The venue can also be booked for private events with advance notice.

Very cool old south Texas Dance Hall and event center. Billed as "The Second Oldest Dance Hall in Texas" and it is every bit as good as the oldest in Gruene, TX. Visited during a show by Aaron Watson in Jan 2019. Easy parking and easy to move around in the hall even when it is full of people. Several bars scattered throughout makes getting a drink painless and prices are fare. Sound from the stage is good and there is plenty of room to stand or sit and watch the stage and allow dancing at the same time. Facilities are good too. Highly recommend looking at their website to see who's coming and get out there.

Old time dance hall! Beer prices great. Nice bathrooms. Charlie Pride was a great concert! Wish tables had not been so crowded and people not allowed to stand on dance floor leaving little room for dancing.

Schroeder is a beautiful dance hall and historic landmark. The recent updates that have been made are fantastic. However, I am giving a 2 star rating due to a poor experience last night. Towards the end of the night, after the band was done, we went outside to smoke, leaving our bottle of whiskey and 2 unopened packs of cigarettes on the table. Started chatting with friends and stayed outside a little longer than expected. Went back in to retrieve our things, and they were GONE. Employees were cleaning, there were no other customers inside. Approached the staff and asked if they had picked up our bottle, and mysteriously no one knew what happened to it. I call BS. Some shady employees over there. Don't leave your liquor unattended.

Great family place. Food was excellent. Dance floor was awesome. Everyone was friendly. No line-dancing, thank goodness! Wish there was a place like this where we live.

I absolutely love the new renovations. Thank you for keeping live music live.. Glad you were able to keep most of the charm that is Schroeder Hall. I do not like the liquor by the drink aspect as it is time consuming for your bartenders. If you ever get back to full capacity I foresee many unhappy patrons who have to wait in lines forever. Keep up the good times.

I always love going here! The bands are awesome, in fact I know I am going to have a great time anytime I go to Schroeder because they dont hire bands unless they rock! I love performing there even more!

The remodeling is superb. Outside stage will be a hoot! Huge indoor stage. Great sound and lights. Topped off with the "saved for more locals to enjoy" management team, that's priceless. Just beautiful! Thank you.

A good family place with live music from great artist. If you love to dance and just enjoy meeting new ppl this is a great place if in the area.
