Very worthwhile to join a guided tour there. For 11 and 7 reduced you get a lot of information and experience the charm of the building up close. The art there is amazing, the next visit will hopefully be announced with an opera visit. The acoustics is one of the few points that can not be experienced during the visit.
The tour guide lives for the Semperoper - that's what she conveyed with every word. Despite restoration work, the guide was fantastic. The building also makes a lot from the outside!
