Savoy Dubai Review

We booked 1 room with 2 queen sized bed, it also had a sofa bed. Stayed for 6 nights. Also booked the desert safari through the hotel. Rooms in good condition. We loved the location, even at 3 am (woke up early due to jet lag), I walked out of the hotel and saw many peoples around, very happening area, had masala tea at a stall opposite the hotel at 3 am. There are at least 2 supermarkets nearby, both 24/7. Before you decide to cook in your room, check the hot food counter at these supermarket, it might save you from cooking. June third week it was, so it was hot, but we could walk to the metro station since the tall buildings provided shades along the sidewalk. We decided to buy breakfast also at the hotel and we enjoyed it every morning. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful.
Hotel also arraigned a surprise birthday cake for my daughter which was nice.

The soap holder in the bathtub has sharp edges, bath area is a bit too tight, I cut my elbow on the soap holder. I wished the soap holder were not protruding out. Next morning onward I was mindful :).

We will most definitely stay in this hotel again but we will not go to Dubai in the month of June. Garden of Glow, Miracle Garden and Global villages are closed in summer. Also the Dubai skyline from the ferry or speed boat is not clearly visible due to sand particles and for the lack of better word - fog. Almost zero visibility from the ferry. The desert evening safari was also hot but totally tolerable. When we reached the camp for the shows and dinner, the sun had set and it was not bad at all in terms of heat.

Also, I found out that all the taxis take credit card, the exchange fees at the airport is a rip off. Just search for money exchange in google maps to find exchange locations. Paying in cash at gold souk is better.

Price is appropriate + Location is close to Naif market

We are still residing here while I am writing this review. We are 3 families booked this property for 6 nights and we find hospitality very good. Today was the first day .

I am giving 3 rating because of one reason for sure that they will NOT provide you complementary water bottle. Only 1st day you will get.

There are people who will try to help you for anything you need. One of the best place to stay in Bur Dubai.

Very fantastic leisure comfortable place to entertain with friends and family

Very hard to fault this accommodation. Everything was in top condition. A pleasure to stay there and will return some day. Also in a great location, close to old parts of Dubai. 5-10 minute walk to the Metro.

We stayed in this hotel in the old town of Dubai for 2 weeks. Everything worked out fine. Our room was not cleaned twice (but we were in the room almost the whole time, up to 5 pm). The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, due to Corona, some sports equipment in the gym was blocked. Breakfast was good, beds very comfortable. Unfortunately, various taxes were added to the price, which (at least one) were not all visible at the beginning. All in all a recommendable stay.

Very pleasant hotel. Only the street noise comes through too much through the window. Sleep only possible with earplugs.

In the heart of dubai... Everything from pin, pizza to tourist pick up available easily

Lovely hotel, excellent location. V coperative staff special thx to Reshma, Paul, Prithvi, Imran. Its home away stay from home with self sufficient apartment with kitchen, fridge, microwave, cutlery in addition to any regular hotel room facilities. Breakfast spread is amazing, lively treatment to the kids with welcome gifts. Daily shuttle to la mer beach. List will continue, definitely recommended .

Good apartment hotel although the facilities include only a washing machine (no dryer), bare cooking items. Quite Clean and lot of eateries around

Hotel is not in very quiet area, which made us hard sleep, but staff was amazing and moved us to another Savoy hotel nearby, which was great.

Comfortable experience,
Friendly staff, you get a free drink when you arrive or whenever you are waiting in the lobby for a while and they notice.
bed is very comfortable and the room is spacious.
The breakfast was very tasty, if you arrive a bit late but before breakfast ends (it serves until 10:30)
Some things might not be on display anymore, but you can simply ask staff and still get whatever is missing.
They stop serving and taking away everything at 10:30 which i was a bit surprised about.
Normally hotels stop taking new guests for breakfast at 10:30 but let things stay where they are till everybody finished.

Very comfortable check in and check out times.

Only downside i could find thus far is the fact that the bath room was quite old and a bit damaged. and the water/bath smelled a bit "funny" and the water was not guided to the drain properly resulting in slightly rotted wood of the door post.

The Savoy Central hotel appartments is located in the old part of of Dubai. Which is close to Meena bazaar ( Indian clothing) and the gold souk. There is a lovely Iranian restaurant Al Ibrahimi where the food is very good and reasonably priced.
Room had everything you needed, it was cleaned every day and if anything was missing you just need to ask the staff.
They served breakfast every day
Fresh fruits, tomatoes, cucumber, raddish cheese, beef and chicken moradella (both gluten free). Eggs any way you like it omelettes with at 8 toppings to add. Bottled Water, 2 types of juices every day. 2 types of cereals, 3-4 types of bread and several cooked selection which changed every day) which included chicken sausages (gluten free but displayed on a flat bread but they provided fresh sausages without being touched by the flat bread / pancakes or waffles (changes daily not gluten free) / idli or dosa (gluten free) with sambar (v spicy) and coconut chutney (v spicy) / then 3 further dishes.
All the staff were very friendly. The hotel even won the best customer service award in 2016.
All the malls and attractions are about 15 to 20 minute taxi ride away including the Dubai International airport depending on traffic.
I would highly recommend you to stay here while in Dubai.

Very nice well maintained and courteous staff. Location is very nice and busy.

We loved this place. Service was excellent, staff very polite and helpful, breakfast interesting with the different foods on offer. A 15 min walk from metro but a supermarket right nextdoor. We would definitely stay here again. The only problem we had was when using the shower with the water running onto the floor.

I was stay for one month in Savoy Central hotel apartment I was staying in studio apartment so it was really good this hotel have very good room service security and reception staff was awesome this hotel one of the best in my selections. The kindness and availability of the staff is one of the few things that can be considered good about this hotel/apartments.
The whole neighborhood is pretty loud and can get annoying sometimes, especially if you get a room on the first floor like it happened personally.

Secondly, the price definitely doesn't mach the quality of the rooms, which seem old and not very well maintained. The presence of some insects in the bathroom and kitchen made it also feel pretty disgusting.
In addition to that, especially at night, it can get very noisy: it was possible to hear noises from our neighbors rooms, which I think is kind of annoying.

The rooftop swimming pool is definitely a great place where to relax and enjoy a nice view of the city: this would be definitely the thing I most enjoyed about this place, with the kindness of the staff that was always ready to help.
The gym was pretty small and not very well equipped.

The whole neighborhood, despite the fact of being noisy, offers a variety of beauty salons, supermarkets and different restaurants with delicious food.

Room service is bad and there is no cold water for shower and free water only the first day

This hotel is okay there is no breakfast the bathroom is gross its super small and it smells like a bad chemical somehow, the bed feels like metal in ur spine but the room is okay sized it has a kitchen but I'll give it a 2 star.

Super hotel, price and quality are consistent! Upstairs pool and sauna. Very polite staff.

So normal that even the shabbalik is locked, it means the room is airy and uncomfortable
