Savoy Beach Hotel Review

High level structure a stone's throw from the Temples of Paestum ... efficiency, professionalism, elegance ... great food !!

Beautiful hotel .... large park, beautiful pool staff at the smallest care, very very good table, a real palace almost, almost accessible (200 euros the room with breakfast.

But .. ..out the hotel, you cross tens of kilometers of roads, alleys, littered with waste. We are far from the standards of cleanliness of other regions of Italy.

From the outside very bombastic-looking hotel, from the inside "normal", room was great, pool for swimming not suitable, more to look at, hotel's own beach very nice, great breakfast, staff very nice.

Excellent location for events.
Gourmet cuisine of the highest level as well as wines.
Highly qualified staff.

we have just celebrated our wedding at this property ... what to say everything perfect from the modern and very chic location, the food (and to say the least) excellent and the reception of very professional staff, we received many compliments from our family ... to choose another thousand times

The only small flaw, I think very remediable, is the lack of a reserved parking space for customers. It often happens that when you return to the hotel you find the places all occupied by guests for receptions and ceremonies and to be forced to park far away.

Very nice facility. But some waiters turn out to be rude and unprepared. Starters ok, the first to be reviewed, not to mention the desserts, total disappointment.

The hotel is nice but far from the sea. They are not 300 meters but rather 700 meters. Clarity was lacking especially on the services included in the price. First including towels, then they asked us for 5 euros per towel.
The gym is abandoned. Overall we had a good time.

Perfect kitchen but ... On June 12th I went to an afternoon wedding in this beautiful structure. Almost everything was perfect but the times were completely wrong, so much so that the guests left before the ceremony ended. We waited a long time before entering the hall. From the aperitif to the first course an infinite amount of time has passed. The result was that the couple could not conclude the evening in a positive way. For me the general organization should be reviewed. The delicious dishes, the wonderful location.

Not what one would expect from a hotel. The structure is very well done, it has beautiful rooms, a beautiful garden, but the food well leaves a lot to be desired. You also have the fact that they have a menu for those who are intolerant, but the food is not the best. Pasta cacio e pepe, and carbonara, as they say in Rome na thing that nun se po magna '. Cacio e pepe looks like a white pasta, with Parmesan, the carbonara with raw egg that horror , stuff that if Joe Bastianich saw it, he would spit it in and say it sucks. Meat, an inedible raw stuff, is better to order a carpaccio. Only the grouped panata, the lemon ice cream e, and the mignon pastry are saved, the rest is to be thrown away. Absolutely recommended.

tastefully decorated restaurant. In the presence of musical performances there is little soundproofing which makes conversation with table neighbors difficult. Not always the dishes served are quality. Many maintained toilet facilities.

Strange that many reviews give 5/5. This is really not worth it. This hotel is ideal for organizing receptions or parties, but much less suitable as a holiday hotel. The location is beautiful (garden with swimming pool) but not on the beach. Walking to the beach is also not easy. By car to the beach club is possible and easy (parking space at the beach club, parking space at the hotel). The beach club is beautiful and offers good service. (Small swimming pool in the beach club)
The rooms are correct (very few closets available in room 110) but the terraces of the hotel on the first floor offer a view of a flat roof. Dinner at the hotel is only possible if you book half pension before your stay. Eating is also not possible with reservation 2 or 3 days in advance! Never experienced.
The breakfast buffet is limited (only cold). Nice breakfast room, but 75% of people don't wear mask.

Perfect place for your special moments, with lovely gardens and magical pools, the food is good, competent staff, at least most of them. If you want a beautiful place for your events, the Savoy Beach is the right choice.

Our wedding, on September 19, 2010, June 3, 2012, the baptism of our daughter ... Everything was perfect, thanks to the very kind and very professional maitre Bruno. I hope to return to this wonderful facility for other ceremonies

Courtesy and professionalism. The three stars is simply because such an elegant structure cannot fail to take care of the pool, sunbeds and something else.

Not at all welcoming, cold, non-existent staff, weddings every day, even more than one ... perhaps suitable for ceremonies, but not for a holiday! The sea is not at 200 meters as indicated, but at least 700. Booked and paid in advance for a week, after 3 days we left. Never again.

No one accompanied us to the room; they let us carry the suitcases; they showed us the elevator to go up to the second floor and in a hasty way they listed the times for breakfast.
Arriving in the room we found the inadequacy of everything (a single tilting window and a scorching heat).
We complained, we asked for someone to join us to understand the situation (nobody went up!).
We got off, we showed our dissatisfaction, we paid the penalty and we left.
