Grand Hotel Europa Review

Hotel with very nice interiors both in the common areas and in the rooms. Very clean and well cared for. Full buffet breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location, both for excursions outside the city, and for connecting to the center because it is close to the train station and the metro.

Convenient location, near the railway station and right there a bus stop to the airport, the center is nearby, shops, museums, rubbish, this is Naples)

Good location, clean, friendly staff. A small flaw on the TV ... a little obsolete, but in Naples meanwhile you don't come to watch TV ... I had dinner at the hotel restaurant and I found everything great ... I could go back

I have never stayed at a more terrible place as what this was. Firstly, we stayed in a junior suite with mezzanine. My husband could not stand upright on the mezzanine otherwise he would hit his head. The bed was like sleeping on concrete with springs that stuck into our backs, the air conditioning had never been cleaned and the top was falling off which is why I could tell. The safe lock fell out when I tried to lock it and the walls were paper thin so we could hear everything from the people next to us. We looked at leaving after the 1st night but had a tour booked for the whole day...when we got back at 8.30pm that evening, we were greeted with a terrible sewerage stench from the bathroom which got progressively worse until we left the next morning. It was by far the WORST hotel we have ever stayed at and we are so thankful that we had booked accommodation elsewhere for the remainder of our stay in Naples.

Hotel vintage staff very kind and always has available for any need clean and very tidy rooms excellent restaurant and cordial staff very good prices I recommend it for those who want to visit Naples has two steps from the station I was for one night but I felt like home

X the place where it is. Its cleaning. The staff is very attentive. Sympathetic The rooms nice, clean. In short, I liked everything. It is absolutely recommendable

Perfect location, frendly staff, clean room. The bed could be more hart, but this is subject. Not so good, weak up with shoulder pain.

For work reasons I stayed at the Grand Hotel Europa for six consecutive months. In addition to the professionalism of all the staff, the comfort of the rooms, I found a great availability of the commercial division of the hotel. They made their needs related to my budget their own and made it easier for me to pay extremely low rates. I will definitely come back as a tourist and invite everyone to stay here soon!

We booked 23-27 dicembre.Hotel in great location, near the central station. Convenient for travel. Comfortable room and excellent facilities such as TV, minibar, WiFi. Staff available. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. Only a small negative note .... of the hotel entrance step is high and unwieldy.

A good value near the training station. Great breakfast buffet with Sfogliatelli.

The Hotel is very nice and well connected with the center of Naples.
The rooms have nice furniture.
Very friendly and kind staff, especially Gino who works in the restaurant.

Hotel place is really good,
But equipment is really old, TV and air conditioner are more than 20years old.
Break fast is normal.
Especially WiFi is so bad, there is a WiFi in the all room BUT it's so slow and it's not possible to use wi-fi.
It won't load anything.

FYI: I was working as system engineer, so I'm so sure this is not my phone and computer problem.

Great location right next to the central station. Friendly staff. I had a large room. Clean, basic amentlities such as towels, soaps etc. 2 TVs and 3 beds in the room.
Overall much better than I expected for a 3 star!

Very nice, for the money more than i. Order! Recommended. Interior of the corridors with historical wardrobes. Unfortunately, we had a bus that was not quite compatible with the parking garage opposite. Parking near the station ...

Not nice despite being called a grand hotel, it has nothing of the grand hotel, a very small room

Friendly receptionists and clean, comfortable rooms.

Fairly clean it is recommended for any working stays even if school classes are often present and the nights are not completely calm due to the lack of walls! Area not advisable if traveled alone but nevertheless convenient for travel! Low level medium / low restaurant breakfast! Normal staff!

We paid for a large room with a balcony and received a narrow room with a window that could not be opened

Ok hotel, we received very good value for money - 55 for studio without breakfast , no fridge or kettle but ok. Wifi did not work. Great location 3 min walk from Garibaldi station, bus to airport etc. Will recommend for people going by Napoli, not for long stay

Convenient location because close to the station. Comfortable rooms, but not very clean. Bad breakfast (in Naples: coffee from a vending machine) and with a few tables.

Not recommended. Small cupboard of a room and ieniemienie bathroom. Depressing neighborhood, not pleasant in the evening. Have breakfast in the basement.

It is central, near the train station, the prices are low, but the standards could be improved, for services and furnishings ... a little old, it would take plant renewal and in the functionality of the sanitary and furnishing services. Good cleaning and hygiene, but can be improved.

Staff great. Breakfast buffet very good. Rooms....not so much. Dingy and smelly. A lot like Naples in general.

I stayed 2 nights on the occasion of a wedding. A few steps from Garibaldi station and 10 minutes from the center, it offers comfortable and clean environments. Welcoming staff, very friendly and available for any information and need. Good breakfast with typical Neapolitan sweets.

Great hotel, towels are changed every day. Breakfast is great. The room itself is only old, as for 3 * very well, I recommend.

The hotel is very convenient due to its proximity to the central station and therefore from there via the two underground lines it is easy to reach any point in Naples.
The staff is professional but also friendly, courteous and helpful.
The rooms are spacious enough, very clean and comfortable.
I very much appreciated the opportunity they gave us to leave the bags in storage on the day of check-out until the time of our departure so that we could comfortably turn even the last day in this beautiful city

Good service and value for money. Good food, and 3rd floor has views of Vesuvius. However, bringing luggage to the 3rd floor may be challenging.

Completely enough for tourists who need it only to sleep

Really bad, old and dirty rooms, one star is too much

Rooms on top floors have a view off mount vesuvius. Clean and tidy room. And room was a good size . Across the road is the railway station. It's a bit of a walk to see the old town and to the pier where the boats sail from to capri and sorrento . Also has good wifi .and a TV but never had time to switch it on . So much to do and see in Naples.

Clean, good value, very basic. Wouldn't recommend for longer stays but if you just want somewhere to sleep for a night or two it's fine.

Located in a very convenient central area, very courteous staff, it has a family-run restaurant where they spoil you with their dishes, clean rooms. Quiet place would happily return.

Very noisy breakfast no bedding out of age. I do not recommend it.

First the elevator is minimal, to open the safe needed to turn off the light because the key was in the key ring of the door. The mattress is very bad, very good breakfast, it was positive.

All good both room and eating. The only flaw is the expensive wine, with little choice, considering that a meal is 17.5 instead of a bottle around 25 we do not take into consideration the bottle of 12 because bad. We had a very good falanghina wine for 6 in a famous restaurant in Salerno.

Short midweek stay, courteous staff, but very few words and even less smiles.
Structure of other times, even if recently renewed (it seems) at about 100 meters from the station of Naples Garibaldi.
Possibility of parking in a partner garage, really positive note. The room is not very large and with a view that is not exactly beautiful on the inner courtyard.
The Buffet breakfast is average but be careful not to miss the "rationing tickets" given to you on arrival, otherwise you can't do it.
We do not exclude returning and we can recommend it, with the awareness of the limits of the structure.

Clean and personal place nice, very good restaurant but a bit expensive for the area, very noisy street side because traffic very dense, windows side yard view very ugly but much quieter, bedding correct.

Kindness, availability, taste in the furnishings, rich breakfasts and extreme cleanliness. The restaurant is also discreet. We will definitely be back.
