Excellent cafe serving an American twist on delicious Japanese style cakes. The Mango Mouse is a particular treat.

Awesome pastries at a reasonable price. My favorite is red velvet but I like everything on the shelf besides red velvet.

I bought cashew cookies and Tokyo vanilla roll , it s absolutely tasty The best roll I ever had it s soooooo soft n fluffy

Simply great place. Very good bakery, quite and nice for conversation, stuff is gentle.

Famously expensive and famously delicious, Satura Cakes lives up to its reputation. The chocolate croissant was probably the best I have ever had, and the cream puffs, both regular and green tea variants, were outstanding! I can only imagine how good everything else in this bakery must be, and I am sort of glad I don't live close by because this would be taxing on my already expanding waistline.

Love the cakes here and you can order online or via phone.

I tried several pastries and a drink. The cookies I bought were AMAZING! So light and crunchy. I think they were shortbread. If I lived nearby, I'd be buying cookies weekly...

The only bakeries I can remember with cakes at least as good as Satura Cakes all require a passport.

Love this spot for tea and treats! Outdoor tables are great for meeting up with friends for a green tea latte and slice of carrot cake. The desserts are also a nice option to order for birthdays or holidays. Satura also offers packaged goods like artisan chocolates and teas.

Cute little bakery! Kinda small and makes me nervous I'm going to knock into everything. Great for a quick dessert and coffee. Prob not a great study place.

we were 7 of us visited the pastry shop . despite the board saying that patrons are requested to keep the used plates and mugs people has left behind the used items ,which was eye sore not because of the shop but because of the people.
coming to the items 5 cakes , and orange marmalade pound cake ( USD 18) of the cakes cheese cake was excellent ( $ 5.95) the butter brioche ( bun ) was very good ($ 2.95) Generally all the cakes were excellent . It is really worth visiting this place , The Orange marmalade pound cake was not to my liking it was soggy and not to my taste . The total bill for us was USD 51.34 . It is value for money than the orange Marmalade pound cake

Everything we tried was really good and the desserts were not overwhelmingly sweet. I will definitely go back.

One of my favorite bakeries around here. Personally prefer the cakes at prolific oven and sugar butter flour but this place has better pastries.

Lovely blend of teas! I had their Darjeeling Tea and ganache filled sweets. Really good. Prices are nominal. Clean and small teas and pastry store with options of outdoor seating.

After reading a variety of dim sum, I would like to try it out. There are seats outdoors, the parking lot is near or on the roadside parking.

Great selection of sweet pastry and cakes. The location was great and the ambiance was nice. Staffs were friendly and had welcomed us the moment I went in.

Their original cheese cake is amazing! The crust is made of nuts so it s a bit different but still taste amazing. A single slice cost $5.95!

I had a slice of pie in pi day. It was good. The flavors and texture was tasty but the ratio of crust to filling was pretty off to me. Maybe because that wasn't their specialty. I'd try again.

Please make the coconut mango mousse gluten free again.

Satura Cakes makes amazing cakes. We ordered our wedding cake and bite sized cake pieces from them for our wedding last year in November.

We met with Sharon in advance for a cake tasting session where she gave us a selection of 8 different bite sized cakes to try. She advised us on the different options they have on wedding cakes and gave some good recommendation on how to present the cakes at the wedding reception. We opted for an acrylic cake tower that worked wonderfully when serving the cakes to our guests.

Our wedding cake was a two-tiered red velvet cake with white cream frosting. It had a cake topper that we provided and a picture made with edible print on edible paper (also provided by us) as well as some writing. For the bite sized pieces, we ordered strawberry shortcake, passion cream, classic chocolate and tiramisu.

These cakes were amazing. Everything was so tasty and our guests loved it. The two-tiered cake was supposed to serve 16 people and we had 80 bite sized cakes in addition to it. With 40 guests at the party, we had only a few leftovers which made for a tasty and sweet breakfast the day after. What I mostly like about their cakes is that they are not awfully sweet like a lot of cakes here in the States. They have just the right amount of sweetness and come with a lot of flavor.

The pricing was totally affordable and we were able to pick the cakes up in the morning on the day of our wedding.

All in all, I can highly recommend Satura Cakes. Not only for wedding cakes but also for visiting their store in downtown Los Altos which we do occasionally

Great location on Los Altos main street and has a good selection of desserts / pastries. The coffee is fine as an accompaniment but there are other better coffee places around as well. Has good outdoor seating so makes for a nice place to hang out and during busy times that's also a reason it's hard to find a spot :)

Beautiful cakes and other deserts. Maybe a bit too sweet - at least for my taste, but still enjoyable. Add espresso or cappuccino and enjoy outside on the street...

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! EVER !!! RUDE TO THE ROOT!! I am talking about the manager.

WHy i am saying so ... I had a incident.. real bad.. one..
So i went to there store ordered for the cake... and just 20 mins after because we found a cake better
somewhere else we called and canceled the order( before they even started the making the order). Now i we are going out of town will be back and take our refund we have a order receipt.
But when went back she says i don't believe you.. can you tell me how did the girl or guy look like who took your order. I said the name is there on receipt she said , she left i cant refund you back now... I said but why i have this receipt with me.... she actually shouted... i am a gentleman did not curse you as you were a lady... but GUYS you all be aware... hope this does not happens to you....

The place of course is at a good location and has good ambience! Nice to enjoy a piece of cake and good coffee in a small European flare town! I had the dark chocolate mousse cake and the croissant. Both of them were very nice, but it is expensive.

Like the other posts, great cakes and coffee! The white mocha is wonderful and one of my favorite cakes is the mango. It is not too sweet and very light. Great place to sit outside.

Good pastries and cake. Pleasant atmosphere. Wifi. Espresso drinks not so great, and pricey. But the cake is real good.

Cakes do look good and the place is quite charming. Unfortunately they only have two gluten free options and they are not that good.

One of the best pastry place in the bay area. It is super delicious and many of their cakes have Satura-unique taste. I strongly recommend the Earl Grey cake.

Delicious cakes and good coffee and tea. Very nice cafe for family or friends gathering. It's somewhat pricey.

Kouignamann had a rotten cheesy smell, and tasted really bad. When I returned it, they reluctantly gave me my money back. When I suggested they offer a complimentary gift certificate to make up for the unpleasant experience, the host only offered a week "I'm sorry". Not going back.

So delicious Not too sweet. Recommend strawberry and pistachio flavor.

Tried a few things and was really impressed, will definitely be back! The vanilla cream puff was excellent, one of the best I ve had in a long time. Difficult to find a place that gets choux pastry just right.

The salty chocolate cookies were also amazing, I prefer salted sweets with a little more salt and these did not disappoint.

Madeleine was good, nice and lemony but a little dry.

The cakes are awesome here! Not too sweet, moist and usually look perfect. We enjoy their chocolate cake and the crispy chocolate balls. Price is a little high 4x2x2 cake for $6.

You'll want to try one of each! It's THE place to get baked goods
