Good decent ppl to work for. Southland is making changes some good some not so good but all in all I'm happy to say I got at least 800 more miles this week than I ever did at Big G.not putting them down because they r a good company also. Adrian-Nick r good dispatch that will keep u rolling.
overall a great place to work, just kind of misleading, trucks on web site is not what you get, husband left a job he had for 17 yrs to be home every night and weekends off with this company, but he was put in a 14 yr old truck with probably 2 mil plus miles and lives up to it's name he says is a Freightliner and is a rattle trap can hear every outside noise, said guess he would have to deal with it for a yr as that will be close to retirement time, if he makes it went from a 2017 Volvo 780 auto his boss got him brand new into a Freightliner hardly no room and can barely stand straight up in it.
My husbands boss...very good people n company to work for
They book my truck, I came from 89miles away. Truck book but not in use. I request for TONU they give me 150, that's not worth for 89miles and waste my whole day. NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
Southland is my new home for employment it's a great company really super friendly people excellent pay and benefits come and join us. tell them I sent you and I will split the referral bonus
Great place to work. Very Professional, and Family Orientated.
They book your truck and cancel. Read reviews before booking. We were booking a load with Eric and i mentioned that their credit was good but the reviews not so good. We booked the load, and minutes later he CANCELED claiming shipper does not have enough product, when in fact sold for less. DO NOT USE or USE at your own risk. Not worth the time. Another trash broker.
Seems like a great place. Can't wait to really find out
This is the worse experience, you guys have to have night time dispatch, I waiting 5hrs before I could get a lumper fee wow that's not showing support for your carriers partners
They book and look for a cheaper rate. Took a load with Bryan McBroom on a hot backhaul lane and he found a cheaper rate. Gave me the "Oh my other dispatcher booked it" after I had already filled out the packet and was looking for a rate con....Don't waste your time on brokers like this.
Their brokers are very friendly and polite. Had very good experience talking to them
From what I can tell on my first day very nice and professional but not stuffy. Very good way to start a new job
