Great place for cakes and sweet bitings. Excellent coffee and very hospitable staff. Lovely location and the ability to sit outside adds to the charm. Must visit during mornings over the weekends. Afternoons might get a little crowded, given the size of the store.

My favorite cake shop in Los Altos. Japanese style cakes which mean the cake is really light with variety of flavors with French influence. Also serves good coffee and has a good selection of tea. Very popular with Japanese expats. Also does wedding and birthday cakes - which you need to order in advance. I love their chocolate cakes variety.

Matcha cream puff, matcha cream puff, matcha cream puff. They only come out later in the morning but they are amazing! The vanilla ones are ok but the matcha is my favorite.

With my cup of coffee, I love the orange brioche, toasted - with a dollop of warm, cream cheese tucked inside, and bittersweet orange slice on top. It is the perfect play on flavors with the comfort of cream cheese.
My other favorites are the strawberry shortcake, green tea hua hua roll, cheesecake, and mango pudding - all light and fluffy, not too sweet. Warning: the chocolate cookies are addictive. Don't start unless you have a friend nearby to restrain you.
Pricey 'lil cakes, but this is Los Altos. Fun stop on occasion.

I see some gushing reviews about the Los Altos outpost of this chain. Let's bring it back to earth, my friends. Satura is a nice place to meet a friend for coffee and baked goods. A stellar bakery it is not. Nice pleasant clean environment on the sleepy main walking area of old town Los Altos. Any one of us could open a cafe here and have it look just as clean and inviting; there's not a lot of invention going on here. It's a nice place -- simple. Other more daring bakery places have come and gone, and what a shame. Satura is nice and safe, and will be here for you. The coffee is good, if you get a good barista (but that's the case in every cafe).

Their cakes are overcooked and taste like rubber. Their creams and gnaches are amazing!! Opt for cakes with more cream.
Their hot cocoa is over sweet and doesn't actually taste like chocolate. The whipped cream is on point.

The dessert was great!! But it was pretty crowded, there was nowhere for us to sit so we kind of bunched up in the corner. The coffee was good, and I had the Hua Hua roll which was very good, my daughter had the chocolate dessert and it was good. Overall a good place for dessert and coffee, but come at the wrong time and you could be standing instead of sitting.

Five stars to the matcha cake roll. I had the earl grey cake and their pastries before, they were good but was not light neither not too sweet. Then booooom! The matcha cake roll is heavenly, not overly sweet, light, . Good job on that, thank you for this amazing dessert!
Satura Cakes is my go-to place to get cakes and pastries. The cakes are very light and moist. You can always find me there with either a slice of their tiramisu cake or a cream puff along with their coffee. They provide a great selection of teas aside from their coffee as well.
It's a great place to catch up with friends while you drink some coffee or tea and have some cake or other pastries. Placing your order can sometimes take awhile since it can tend to get crowded during their peak times. Aside from cakes and pastries, you can also buy the same tea brand that they use and other tea accessories.

We have been shopping around for our wedding cakes. The pastry chef, Amy, was super helpful and let us try a few items even when Thursday is not open for tasting. She helped us to complete our order in one hour. Very helpful and professional.

Our favorite goto pastry shop. Go here at least once a week. Japanese and French style treats. Their chocolate and almond croissants, Red Velvet cake, Pistachio cheese cake, and tarts are excellent. Clean, cozy and comfortable.

Delicious cakes, just know that they come with a price tag. Super friendly staff, the amount of people in the store seems to come in waves. We ordered the red velvet, which is delicious, not too sweet at all. The other desserts seemed fantastic as well, they definitely come with a price tag though!
I love their cakes but be careful with special orders. It is significantly more expensive and with attrition, repeat customers cannot assume that previous orders can be copied for the same price with the additional design fees that are tacked on. Sadly, even the flavors were not pre-confirmed and they picked them for us so anyone with allergies should explicitly call out what should be in the cake.
Line is short. Lots of seating. Cakes are decorated beautifully. However, the taste is average? Their sponge cake is fine but the cream is really heavy.

Many people come to this cake shop, because it is delicious, maybe some but not all, but the manager /owner has a bad attitude. In Palo Alto /Los Altos I think he is the worst manager/owner inside this area, I used to be a very loyal customer, but not anymore.

The vanilla cream puffs, strawberry cake, and Japanese cheese cake are my top choices here. The shortbread cookies are also amazing (I love the sesame).
Delicious cakes, but their service is bad. Asked and paid for 5 puffs, just got 4 in the box. Not in busy time. Open the box to make sure you get what you paid for before you leave.
