Did not like much, because so many things missing s front desk.was not good..
Great modern sports bar and lounge and fine dining. Very busy upscale people because of the location. I just saw John Elway in the lobby!
Elegant, beautiful. All rooms have small balconies. Great concierge facilities
Event planning staff, especially Colleen and Charlene were fantastic! Every need was met with a smile.
A very nice hotel. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The staff is courteous
Clean great roomy only bad thing is said free breakfast and ended up paying for it..
The Santa Clara Marriott is perfect for me. Just far enough away from the San Jose airport that the trip isn't bad for getting on an early flight or arriving from a late one. I've stayed here on trips over the past 4 years aND have always been pleased with the service.
I stayed here for one night for a business event and accidentally left a very expensive Michael Kors watch and an electric toothbrush. I understand how the Michael Kors watch 'wasn't found' by housekeeping or security but it's hard to understand how the toothbrush wasn't found in the bathroom. Either way, both items were left in plain sight and it's strange that housekeeping did not find either of the items. Moreover, when I brought the issue up with security, they indicated the wrong room on the investigation report more than once. It was a very disappointing experience especially to be associated with a reputable, ubiquitous name brand hotel chain. I don't have the highest regard for the integrity of this staff.
TBH I've stayed at cheaper hotels with way better service that will NOT charge for Wi-Fi and/Or parking.
$200 a night here + $15/day for parking + $30/day for Wi-Fi... Really?! $30/day for WiFi hmm something off about that!
The rooms not impressed at all as I said before I've stayed at cheaper hotels that look nicer have free parking fee Wi-Fi in room fridge this place is a joke!
Great hotel. Great location. Good restaurants and concierge lounge.
I have attended a professional event. It has multiple large ball rooms so it is a great fit for 100+ people. I am sure they have smaller ones too. Staff are friendly. Food options are decent but not limited to few. Based on the cost of the event I think the number of options and the type of food varies. Parking is not an issue and is free. I haven't stayed overnight but I did visit a guest and it was pretty spacious and we'll maintained.
Super nice. The only negative I have about this hotel is the fact that the rooms don't have microwaves in them. All rooms have to share one little microwave that's located by the front desk. And to me that sounds like germ heaven so I'm cool off making any hot food while staying here.. otherwise this place would have a 5 star
Marriott does do luxury extremely well. I always forget that taxes and fees amount to nearly 50% with them though, and it also costs 17.50 to park a car. That said, this is a very polished place, if huge. The lobby bar is expensive and competent. Food is good.
Excellent dealers and waitresses at the event. Food was the only mediocre bit.
It blows my mind that the tech capital of the world doesn't have free Wi-Fi. Extremely frustrating.
Awesome Marriott property. Great wifi and wonderful views!
The place is most of the way through a remodel. It's improves every year.
A good hotel, beautiful and cheap. On the way between San Francisco and Silicon Valley businesses. I stayed in 2011 and I have good memories.
Not impressed with the room got a great deal on the price but you have to pay extra for parking
Nice hotel, rooms were comfortable and there were some renovations going on in the public areas. It can be overrun by SF football fans after the game as the stadium is nearby, so at those times it can be a bit raucus.
The ups store is hidden in the back. Parking permit lasts for 15mins.
The gym and men's locker room really needs,an update. You feel like your in a dingy old cramped gym. They don't have a steam room (most Marriott do) but they do have a sauna. However the sauna is never on and it takes 30 minutes to warm up. Of the four times I used the gym there were no towels. I was also disappointed to find out the rooms didn't have either a mini fridge or a safe in the room. However they did bring me a mini fridge when I asked about it. The bathroom is small. It is so small you must close the door to use the toilet. The breakfast in the morning is ok at best. The eggs were usually cold and runny and the choices were limited. Overall the hotel is old and is in need of an overhaul. I hardly ever voice my opinion on posts, like this. However I have been traveling all over the world this year and I always stay at Marriotts. This hotel is my least favorite and it is not worth the money compared to the other Marriotts I have stayed at recently.
The Mexican-style dinner at the meeting was very tasty.
4 stars because it was clean. Otherwise a 3. WiFi is $6/night, $13/night for high speed. The beds and pillows were firm and you could hear everything outside.
Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious. Getting a chance to relax in the jacuzzi before sleeping was definitely a highlight. Overall great hotel.
Clean rooms, good service, great parking. Excessively priced. But that's San Jose
Went for happy hour at parcel 104...great restaurant ..great drinks and apps.
Friendly and helpful staff. The conference amenities were well organized and prepared. The rooms were somewhat dated but clean and comfortable.
Room is ok, ac/heater is loud, no bathroom fan, not much lighting, laundry service results tbd. Staff is friendly and helpful.
A bit spread out in layout. great location. Clean. Food options limited, average taste.
I visited here briefly to have lunch with friends, and was impressed with how spacious things were and the breakfast buffet.
Nice place, well served. Very friendly staff. Ask anything and you will get everything
The staff is excellent! Always very helpful and friendly whenever I needed anything.
Really nice spot but over priced for sure. Really takes advantage of business travel.
The location is easily accessible. It's close to Great America and right off the freeway. The room we had was right next to the pool and hot tub which we enjoyed. Room service was quick and efficient. The only thing I would suggest would be providing a refrigerator and microwave in every room.
Had the best stay here. Amazing rooms. Friendly staff. Place is quite close to everything around.
Tda event was free. But I paid $7 for 1 hour parking. This is after discount they gave me. So it could cost $21. Crazy!
Great location and close to Great America. Clean room and great front desk.
Very friendly staff, hotel was very clean and lots of parking
Can be difficult to find ground floor rooms, but besides that, no complaints.
A very fancy hotel with comfortable beds, large TVs, WiFi and convenient parking lot. Was staying here for a night when I was visiting Google I/O but would definitely stay here for longer. Also, having Starbucks in a hotel is definitely a very good addition to the overall experience.
Very friendly staff, busy hotel. Clean spacious rooms. Very close to San Jose airport.
A little Iittle over ordinary hotel, with nice open spaces and a helpful staff. Good food, nice gym and pool and we'll functional conference facilities.
The room were a little worn down and the bathroom very small.
Had a good stay.
Rooms are nice and spacious. Just the shower wasn't as amazing as the rest of the hotel.
Excellent experience when staying in their facilities, highly recommended.
We didn't stay at the hotel but ate at characters and attended an event here. Characters is fun and the staff and food are great. Be warned it's extremely expensive and the only reason I knocked it down a star.
Good and welcoming hotel with excellent facilities.
Nice. Its like a little city inside. Only 1 small thing was the pay gates dont work properly
A wonderful hotel with friendly and helpful staff, but it's very spread out and can be difficult to navigate.
Event was held in Ballrooms A/B which are really nice and perfect for the occasion. Catering and event support was phenomenal.
Service and communal areas were great, but the rooms were pretty basic considering the high price and wifi should be free. It's 2018.
The hotel I visited in October of the eighteenth year. I liked it, although I only stayed there for three days. Although this should be enough to make a small response. The room has a TV, air conditioning, a work desk, an armchair and everything you need to get ready for a business meeting. Iron, towels and a hairdryer. Shampoos and all sorts of creams. The shower room is not very large but sufficient for two people. I advise you to come to this hotel. There is also a swimming pool and an outdoor jacuzzi.
The service is great.
The first room I was guided to was on the ground floor next to the parking lot, and I asked if there was a room with a better location at the front desk. Besides, we gave me a drink ticket for the hotel staff.
There are shops and Starbucks in the hotel for your convenience.
The lawn courtyard is very comfortable and you can relax in an overall calm atmosphere.
Breakfast in restaurant feels kind of kind for price, but the correspondence of the staff is very good. Most of all, I think that it is enough content for the breakfast buffet in this area.
Nice staff and service but the location of the room and accessing the room card key to enter or exit the parking lot is a little confusing. Got blocked out twice. Didnt know I have to reactivate it by using a different entrance.
I attended a conference here, and everything seemed really nice and clean.
Was there for a company event in the event/conference space - great food for breakfast and lunch. As all those spaces, those rooms have no windows, which gets depressing when you are in there every day of the week, but that's not unique to this venue.
Great rooms, staff, and lobby. They took excellent care of me on this extended trip
Comfortable rooms and helpful staff. Layout is kind of a labarynth.
