So a man came to work threatening to kill police officers, they said they have before and will do it again, the police showed up 20 to 25 minutes later, one cop in particular is at least 100 pounds over weight, why are they cops if they don't even care about their own.
I felt so uncomfortable came in for a report ,front office lady at records is really rude unprofessional she can sure roll her eyes .I can see she hates her job . I just walked away, I drove 40 miles I can't deal with this!

Called police multiple times. I have had people try to break into my home even when my family is in there. Recently someone jumped over into my backyard and broke my property. I called the police because of the fear we have lived through. The dispatcher for the station said they were going to send someone out and they did not. It is really sad about how santa ana pd reacts to this.
Disgusting and reprehensible! These offers don't have the moral qualifications to dog-sit. I'm grateful that they got exposed for the criminals they are.
It's been over an hour since I called them to report a hit and run. Still, no police unit has shown up to take the report. I followed the guy who hit me. I'm sitting behind his parked car I saw him walk into the probation building, horrible place

I have MAD respect for most police officers. Their job is very difficult, and they deserve our respect. Santa Ana police department is OUT OF CONTROL. Justice Department investigation needed NOW. No more ILLEGAL conduct and no more ABUSE of elderly, disabled people. FIRE ALL OFFICERS in the infamous pot shop raid NOW.

Waited almost 2 hours to file a police report and still no one showed. They take you to the phone to call it in so they can ignore you.

I saw the video tape of the May 27, 2015 raid of the marijuana dispensary. That video confirmed my concerns that your department acts very unprofessionally and lawlessly. Your peace officers knock down the video devices and then behave like 13 year old criminals? Eating edibales too? I would be satisfied if they were instructed to no longer knock down the cameras. That way they could be rewarded with their own humiliation. A disgrace. Body cameras are a must for children. Kevin MIller

It really sucks when you are driving and its dark out and the police officers flash a blinding light on you or the oncoming traffic. Its BLINDING...can you guys just stop. You guys will end up causing an accident especially down a dark street already. We are driving. Its a hazard. It occurs to a lot of people. My mom on many occasions and myself just now near the Santa Ana College.
We've been told that as long as someone doesn't pitch a tent on your private property, it's totally legal for them to be there. Even after you've asked them to leave and made it clear they're not welcome and they come back.
We've been told it's okay for then to come onto our property at 10 o'clock at night, take a gardening hose and wet our car, driveway, and finally me and my god sister. Because when we called the cops, they said our photos could be doctored and why didn't we take video.
We've been told that they're tired of coming out here. That there's more important issues going on in Santa Ana.
And when that same neighbor hit my dad with his car, and we went into the station the next day we were all but told we were trying to commit insurance fraud because my 67 year old dad wasn't sure exactly what part of the car hit him and he refused to lie and specify. That was after having to wait the better part of 3 hours at the station. And of course, being treated like criminals for not calling when it happened, even after we've been told they don't want to come out, and shown that it does no good.
I unfortunately have zero trust in the ability or the competency of the Santa Ana Police Department. I also don't take this review lightly, but after a pattern of poor quality and interactions with the police, I can't defend the police in this area. I can't trust the police in my home town to protect or defend.

Just moved to Santa Ana and greeted by officers who staged a phony he had a gun call yet when they arrived they had to look in my window to see a jar to say well this gives us right to search cause the jar making it at that point obvious wit was a lie. It s a shame that with the crime going on this is what they waste time doing profiling bunch of bullies straight trash not protectors of the community. Like a rally of school punks who finally got some edge to bully others. God is watching you makes the officers who really do their job look bad. Next time you lie make sure it s a logical
