If you want some to Blue Mexican food go to Santiago's the best food I've had in a very long time real homemade Mexican food I do recommend it highly!

So my son want to try this place! All hands down this place is delicious! I got the combo burrito with bacon and chorizo and my son got the green chile cheeseburger with green chile fries! I open my box and the burrito was huge! Just like the picture I saw on the website. Burger was amazing! Must say one of the best burgers I ve had in a long time. Thanks again for a delicious lunch and I will be coming back! Also I m going to recommend this place to everyone I know. Keep up the good cooking! A big thanks to the cooks!

This is the kind of hole in the wall I've always wanted to go to in New Mexico and I'm not just talking about Albuquerque I'm talking about the whole of New Mexico this place is fantastic I just had a 12 oz Burger I ordered a double sopapa chili burger which already came with guacamole normally I would have added bacon but I just wanted to more or less taste its roots. I must say this place is ABO ve and beyond any other place I've eaten good burgers in all of New Mexico. Don't let the outside of the building scare you away looks a little bit worn out but the inside is fantastic and the people that own it all of them are awesome family business here struggling through the rough times of kovid in which this place has been around since 1985 Matthew McConaughey loves them and so does Justin cram Hi5. It was mine and my boyfriends first time food was so great didn't wait long they had a high chair for my 7 month old son can use family friendly i must say customer service was spot on very pleased we will be back!

Santiago's is a charming, clean place to get the finest Mexican Food available. You order at a window and then sit cofortably awaiting your food. The wait is not long! The food is excellent, the service is prompt and the prices are very reasonable. This is a 5 Star establisment but it is very affordable. Superb! R. Lee Dickens, frequent customer.

Let me just say I have been a regular here for breakfast and lunch for the last 15 years. NOTHING at this place comes from a can and certainly not the red or green chile which is made from scratch daily. Everything on the menu is delicous. Food is served hot and service is excellent. I personally recommend the homeade tacos with there made from scratch one of a kind taco sauce,old fashioned burgers,huevos rancheros, enchiladas and the amazing quesedilla de carne plate! You can truly taste the love in every plate!

Not impressed. The chili came from a can. The pork was under cooked. And this was the special? Nothing special about this place. Definitely on my do not return list. This hole in the wall should be a hole in the ground. Not good at all.

Their burritos are the best I've ever had. The food is delicious & always great quality. We've gotten food there for years & it's always amazing. The family who runs the restaurant is very nice as well.

This place is terrible. It is not authentic Mexican food. I ordered a chicken enchilada and it was a tostada drowned in red sauce. The sopapilla is just a deep fried hard crust bread. The salsa is somewhat like queso. My husband ordered a combination plate and his plate was identical to mine, a drowned red mess. I do not recommend this place if you want authentic food.

I would most definitely stay away from this place unless you enjoy spending time on the crapper. Watered down green Chile at best... the red chili if you can call it that Was no better no taste spice or texture..I wouldn't feed the meal I had to my dogs. I love them to much....

Stopped by for late breakfast and ordered breakfast combo plate with red sauce. Beans, enchilada, pork tamal, 2 eggs, and substituted corn tortillas (for flour). Oh I would come back for just the tamales and beans! Those beans had a subtle smoky flavor (possibly cooked with ham hock?) that was so good. I learned they sell tamales frozen by the dozen-if I had a way to keep frozen I would have picked some up.

Best customer service, and amazingly delicious food. This restaurant is a Hidden gem in town, and the best thing is that it's local! During this hard times let's support our local businesses specifically if they are worthy like Santiagos. You can't go wrong if you come here and have some breakfast or lunch.

Staff is always so friendly and smiling! It's a relaxed family atmosphere. They always know what my daughter is going to order. We both love the place! My daughter loves how they know exactly up what she wants even we haven't been in to eat in a awhile. Thanks everyone!

Very helpful small place to eat. Easy to with with if you are free, just tell them your needs. They use cornstarch to thicken their sauces which are spicy hot! Fresh tasty food. Fast, quiet, and do not go to be impressed by the building, just the food.

The food is always fresh and delicious. The catering /family trays options are very good. We went twice this week with Taco Tuesday with their fresh homemade salsa and two days later with there Double meat cheeseburgers and red chile fries. If you haven't had there burgers your missing out! The burgers are fresh beef with cheddar cheese and the seasoning they used tops it off with lettuce, tomato, and the rest of the fixings. That burger is a MUST to try. I'm sold!

Mom and Pop place! I heard a customer say, "See you tomorrow". I had a breakfast burrito, it was good. Freshly made tortillas, the guy in the pic, may be Santiago, was rolling them out as he needed them.

Santiago's should be on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives! Small, simple Mom and Pop (plus adult children) run this little restaurant in the NE Heights. They are open for breakfast and lunch. One of the best green chile cheeseburgers in New Mexico - the guacamole burger on a white flour tortilla. Yum!!! All of the New Mexican food that I have tried at Santiago's over the past 11 years is delicious. If you want a great biscochito, our New Mexico state cookie, they sell a small bag of mini cookies for a nominal price for you to munch on, on your way back to work or home. Great customer service by all...they wait on you hand and foot after you have placed your order at the front counter.
