Excellent exercise and nature facility. Lovely to walk beside the lakes. Lots of birdlife.

Beautiful environment filled with wildlife. Walk or jog on the nicely paved 3.5 mile track around the gorgeous lake.

Wonderful park for athletes, walkers, runners, bikers, skaters, towers. Great place for Moms to meet and kids to play. Fun playground. Restrooms clean and welll maintained.

Nice place for bike ride, 3 mile loop. Nice water and plenty of restrooms.

Looking like a great venue for the world rowing championships. The area has a great jogging/walking trail along the waterway. There is also a small park for the kids to enjoy. I myself plan to tackle the great trail in the near future.

Home of the World Championships of Rowing! Great bird watching and one lap around the paved park sidewalk is a 5k. Love coming here to run. Be warned, there's no shade so bring a hat if you're planning on being here for a while.

The best rowing venues I've been on. Gorgeous race course, very easy to navigate (except for a tight starting area, but it's bearable) leads to an overall pleasant experience. It does get very hot and can get muddy so just keep in mind that you need to pack for the weather.

My favorite place to walk! Beautifully designed, nice, clean pavilions for gatherings, creative playground for children, clean restrooms & the trails are plenty wide for walkers, runners, cyclists, skaters & skateboarders to share.

World class rowing facility attached to a nice park. It's beautiful. Plenty of well maintained paths for walking, biking, roller blading (people still do that!). Plenty of parking (if you're willing to walk a little).

A jewel in Sarasota's crown. Arguably the best rowing facility in North America, but also home to triathlons, biathlons, running races, kayaking, paddle boarding, a 6k trail around the lake, host of many different public events, etc. Every Sarasotan should go out to NBP and check it out.

The pond is wonderful for rowing events, but the 3 layers of paved border around the park are amazing. People bring children to walk, ride bikes, or use scooters. People walk, ride bikes, or roller blade around the perimeter of this international rowing pond. One of Sarasota's gems.

Ran here for a competition and it was super nice. Would recommend visiting

We enjoy this park. The trails are so fun! You can rollerblade, skate, walk and skateboard.

Park with skulling lanes on lake. Was there for a 5K run for Arthritis Foundation. Didn't see too much as far as picnic area, small children's playground. Didn't see much more to busy running.

Great venue for crew. Looking forward to using it when all the construction is done.

Nice park for rollerblading. Smooth sidewalk separate from road. I going to come back when there's rowing competition.

Great location for a running event, like the Florida West Coast Half Marathon that I ran last week. Loved the final "floating mile". The park is conveniently located close to I75 and there are many hotels and restaurants around and ample parking too. Beautiful place!

I have attended several events and walked the lake - good facilities. My concern is for the children I have seen playing in knee deep water in the lake, splashing and jumping. There are alligators in the lake (I have a photo of one). After the tragedy at Disney World with the alligator I would think signs would be posted warning visitors.

Great place for Making Strides for Breast Cancer. Only wish there were more parking signs as to where to park especially for VIP Survivors.

Nice new playground but NO SHADE they really should have put a shade canopy of some sort for the kids to play under. I mean sure the trees will be the shade but not until another 20 years... Still a nice place to take a walk, bike ride, or run... In you like that sort of thing that is. I'd like to come watch a crew event some day!

I love this park. Beautiful place to walk, run, skate, skateboard, cycle, canoe, sculling, lounge around, kids section, amenities, fishing, etc... Close to a shopping center.

Just under 3.5 miles around the lake and you can bike, walk, in-line skate, jog and so much more. Children's play ground is a nice size. Crewing practice or fishing happen in this fantastic location.

Great place to exercise, with walking and running trails. Very serene and peaceful as well. The children's playground is fun and well designed. It even has solar powered USB chargers for parents to use. Lots of upcoming events.

The park is nice, there are biking and walking trails (covered with asphalt) and there is even a nature trail that runs parallel and close to the walking trail (covered in crushed shells and gravel). There are restrooms and a playground for kids. Overall, it's a great place to get some fresh air, go for a stroll, and catch a glimpse of herons, limpkins, ducks, and egrets.

2019.12.08. The ice skating and sledding are under manned. We wasted our 90 minutes waiting in line. 2 of the 4 lanes were being used and that is after we complained
They just dropped it back to one lane. What a waste of time and money.

Did a bike ride today and rode around the water area...beautifully done

Great place to walk, jog, run, bike and take your kids to the park. Not to mention if you are I to rowing.

World renowned attraction right in our backyard. Always love visiting Nathan Benderson, especially when we bring the pups.

AWESOME venue!! Did Beer/Boats/Bacon - lots of seating, flat walking and easy parking. Also ride through and around on my bike. Wanting to kayak and row, just haven t had the chance. World class!!

Police constently circling the park. Is it a crime ridden park? The people seem causual. No protesting or homeless. People were picking up their dogs fecial matter. Although, I did see a lot of people dragging their dogs because its way to hot even at 70 degrees. The sun sets directly over the park so I recommend you come early. Your dogs will appreciate it. Maybe I'm missing something....
