Highly recommend! We had Jesse as our tour guide. We had never been on a Segway until this trip. The training that they give you beforehand makes you feel comfortable before you set out. This company provides you headsets so your guide can talk to you the whole time telling you about the history of San Francisco and giving us directions as when to stop, turn and go! I didn t want our tour to end because we had so much fun!

My girlfriend and I did the Advanced hills and crooked st segway tour. Our tour guide was Jordan. Awesome guy, funny, and he makes sure everyone is having a great time.
Going down crooked street was a great experience, and just going down 2 of the steepest Hills was a scary thing, but it was fun, and now we can say we have done true downhill.
My girlfriend and I go to city to city renting segways and this was our favorite for sure. Newport beach Huntington Beach, and Catalina Island were really great too.

Amazing, these guy's are so good and such fun we booked a second excursion with them on the same vacation. If you are in or near the city then this is a must do.

We had a great time!. Melanie was our guide and she was fun, informative and easy to follow. This was our second tour and we are telling all our friends to go!

The Segways were pretty fun to ride, however, the tour itself was pretty lacking. We stopped by a few landmarks, but most of the time was spent driving down uninteresting streets listening to bland and chatter from our guide. It would have been a lot better with interesting history and local information from our guide.

On 9/23/19 my wife and i celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary on a Segway tour with our tour guide Tre. He was Great he took us to many great spots in the fisherman wharf area and difference parts of San francisco.

Training provided beforehand was great and gave our group the confidence to ride the segways. Had Tre as our guide for the night time China town tour which I would also recommend

We did the park and it was fabulous! This team if professional and passionate and it made our day. It was cold and rainy and because of their knowledge and expertise, it made it exciting and interesting and weather did not interfere. Thank you for making our experience memorable given the conditions!

Cass killed it as out tour guide. We did the Wharf and Waterfront tour and got to see Coit tower, the embarcadero, and tons of other landmarks!! Would absolutely return to do the advanced tour.

Our tour guide Cass was fantastic!!!! She was full of knowledge and history of the city and also funny.

We learned a lot about the city, and enjoyed our first segway experience. Our group had 10 people, it was the perfect sized group.

Just a lot of fun! My daughter and I took the tour led by Nick and it was a cool way to see the Fisherman's Wharf and surrounding areas. Riding the Segway was a blast and Nick was really nice, interesting, and a fun tour guide. Definitely recommend it.

Best tour I ever had. So much fun to drive a segway. They take a lot of time to teach you all the basics and to make sure you have learnt them. Be prepared for the cold, but it was totally worth it. Our tour guide, Amber, was great and we all got to see quite a lot of San Francisco while having a lot of fun.

The guided Segway tour is a fantastic way to see Golden Gate Park. Our guide, Kelly, was informative, entertaining and conscientious. First they trained us how to ride the Segway and then Kelly took us on a 2.5 hour tour of the park. Our group ranged in age from 70s to teens. Everyone has a wonderful time. I highly recommend it!

The park was amazing, the guide was charismatic and loveable and the segways themselves were good. Only thing I didn't like we're the earbuds we got for our walkie talkies. The guide said themselves they were low quality and disposable and I noticed. They kept cutting out and even after asking for a new pair. Would have been easy 5 starts if there were maybe some mid-quality on-ear headphones instead

Nice guide. Super slow people around. Guide is only focused on them. That makes the tour boring. Tour setup feels like good for Segways but not the POIs of the city. Guide says he'll takes the pictures. But no pictures taken of the city.

Love love loved it! It was my first time doing a Segway tour (did it with a club from ASU to tour the city) and I loved every minute of it. If you want to take a Segway tour for just the dry history of San Fran and not have fun, then I would suggest maybe a different tour company. BUT if you are a fun person and want to just explore then hands down do this tour company. I loved our tour guide. She gave historical facts and pointed out places while also making funny comments about random things and pointing out cool random houses. It was very laid back and fun while being safe at the same time because you are on the busy roads. They make sure you are trained and know how to drive the segways and if you are nervous they will keep you at the front of the pack and help you throughout the way. Highly suggest them!

This Tour was worth every penny.Tre made the entire experience one to remember. Thank you Tre you are GREAT at what you do!! My family and I all had a blast!!

Our guide, ' The Captain' rocked it. He was so great and entertaining with fascinating stories and facts. Including the famous lobster dinners in Alcatraz, and Joe Demagio and Marilyn Monroe's' staged chuch wedding photos. We saw so much, learned so much, and Oh. did I forget to mention we were all riding segways.!!!!

We did this two hour tour for one of our group events. Our guide was kind and very patience throughout the event, especially when we were initially learning how to ride the Segways. We went around the Embarcadero area and she explained some facts along the way. I've lived in San Francisco for about five years and I still learned something new that day. A fun way do spend breezy afternoons in San Francisco. Definitely worth the money.

This was a fantastic experience! I've never ridden a Segway and they really take the time to make sure you know what you are doing before you go out. I didn't think the Segways would do well on those hills, but they were great. No problem going downhill either. Our guide, Tre, was fantastic! Very informative as he narrated much of SF history and pointed out some great eating spots. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!

Horrible experience where they dropped us out because the guide could not manage a large group and they had damaged segways. I have already called and raised escalation with Viator customer care.
Detailed background:
1. As per the Viator Overview of this tour: Limited to six people, this tour provides a small-group experience. However, when we group of 6 arrived, we were clubbed with another group of 4 taking the size to 10 people. We went ahead with the flow.
2. Once the tour started, it was clear that the guide was also not happy with the increased group size.
3. Within less than 30 minutes the tour started, 2 segways from the other group of 4 got damaged and stopped working. The guide got very pissed and spoke in a condescending tone with my dad and also with me. She basically wanted to get 2-3 of us off the tour so she could continue - and started making a pretext that the guide has the right to throw off people from the tour. And most surprisingly, the damaged segways were from the other group of 4 Americans and one of them had also tripped down. But the guide clearly wanted us Indians to back off.
4. Further to the above, we group of 6 were not ready to leave family behind, and told her that either all or none will proceed. They then decided to drop all of us and proceeded with the other group of 4.
5. We have travelled from India and today was our first day at SF, and these guys left no stone unturned to make it the most horrible experience for us. Both the guide and the admin staff were rude and not ready to provide any reasoning for anything - saying clearly that they are not discussing this. Their business seems like a joke, where they only know how to disrespect foreigners and elders. Given their rascist tone and tenor, we have also raised this with our lawyer and intend to sue them, this is just not done!
6. And, most certainly, these guys do not deserve to be on Viator. They do not even fulfill the promise of 6-people group which is in the right first para of the Overview - but they ensure that they misbehave with Viator clients and they even mentioned that we are Viator clients, not theirs!.

Amazing tour! Johannes was a fantastic guide funfunny and very informative. I recommend this to anyone looking to see Golden Gate Park.

John was "the best" Segway tour guide, with great humor for and trust in his customers that made our Segway tour the greatest we've had.

We took the steam engine #45 trip. I am so glad we did this. If you go, make sure you ride at least some of the time in the open car. We were still full from breakfast, so we didn't try the BBQ in North spur, but we did have a blackberry sundae from one of the vendors. We had a soft pretzel from the food car on the way back. Bring cash!

Had a great time segging in SF! Our guide Nic gave our family a fun, safe tour around the waterfront. It was a highlight of our trip. A few tips - the saddlebags don't fit much, but you can leave larger items in the office, you can't wear a backpack or take photos while on the Segway, you can take photos when stopped and the guide will take some and post to FB, ponchos & gloves are provided for bad weather.

A wonderful, fun, professional, and entertaining experience. The tour took us through many of the streets of San Francisco, and our guide provided constant interesting information as we went. A few times we stopped for photos, such as overlooking the bay and Alcatraz. The tour started with some training, but it went fast and the segways were very easy to ride. The your required us to follow the guide through the streets for safety, which was fine, but we were let free a few times to go where we wanted, which was pretty fun. Our tour guide was awesome, friendly and funny, and the weather was perfect. It was so much fun, a great way to see the city, and I'd do it again in an instant.

Did the Segway tour a few time with different guides. It has been a couple years since then so I m sorry but I don t remember the guides names. I did the all the tours except the advanced. Had a blast. The guides were knowledgeable and fun. Would def recommend.

Nice, small group of nine people and an entertaining and engaging tour guide made the tour an especially enjoyable experience.

I had never been on a Segway before, neither had most in the group, but after about 30 minutes of training we were all ready and confident:-)

(It made for an even more personal experience when Stephan managed to learn all our names within the first five minutes. Give this guy a raise.)

Second time I ve been on a tour with this company, returning for a superb advanced Segway tour with Jordan. Great guide who made the experience so much more enjoyable and as there were only me and my Son on the tour it was like having a private tour guide. Get to Segway up and down the steepest streets in San Fran, including Lombard Street (twice).

WEAR CLOSED TOE SHOES (it s in the small print) Otherwise you get the Krocs of days gone by. We did the park tour and everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. We had a blast and there wasn t a single hiccup past the shoe thing. Highly recommended and well worth it.

I was very hungover from the night before so couldn't really enjoy, but the people were very pleasant and knowledgeable.

I think this is probably one of the best ways to tour around the area. What made it even better was our guide TK! We could not have asked for better guide. His tour was probably the highlight of our trip! Rock on TK!

I took the tour recently on my first trip to San Francisco. This was a great way to get to see a lot of different areas of the city in a very unique way.
The tour guides are excellent when it comes to explaining how to use the Segways and providing interesting tidbits during the tour.

Johannes (yoyo), was our tour guide and he was great!! Very knowledgable, made the trip fun! Even got a tree named after me by Janis's tree. Hehe i highly reccomend this tour to anyone wanting to explore Golden Gate Park. Our group loved it and we all are excited to do it again soon. You rock Johannes!!

I took this tour with probably around 30 or more people attending. They did a fantastic job managing the crowds and keeping us all organized and trained appropriately. Cass was our tour guide, and she was incredibly peppy, passionate, and excited the entire time (with fantastic jokes). The tour was safe but we were all able to have fun, and Cass was very knowledgeable about the city. Thanks for a great time!

This tour was guided by Ellen. Very informative and fun. The learning process they make fun also. The 2 and 1/2 hours flew by! We went on the waterfront tour.... Fisherman's Wharf, and other places nearby. You get to wear headphones so you can hear everything the guide tells you. They give you a break 1/2 way through, it is needed because it is rough on the body. I am 46 and was not sore, but standing that long can put a toll on you. I learned alot, and you get to know the secret hot places to eat, socialize, and the history of San Francisco.
Make sure you wear a jacket!!!

My husband and teen age daughter took the 2 1/2 hr segway tour in Golden Gate Park. It was one of the best things we did while visiting San Francisco! It was so much fun and we also learned so much about the park. We only had one day to see the park and would not have been able to see and learn what we did on our own just by walking it! Besides that- segways are a blast! Bailey, our guide was terrific and made it amazing! This tour is a must-do for visitors to San Francisco! Worth every penny!

Best tour in town... Take the nighttime Chinatown tour. Ask for "Captain" to be your tour guide. Thoroughly enjoyable, lots of light humor, and you'll learn a few things too.

My wife, daughter (18) and I took the two and a half hour tour through the local streets and along the piers at 2pm on a clear day. Two of us had never been on a Segway before. The initial orientation to a Segway was excellent and the guided tour through the streets was well planned and very safe. Nic was a brilliant and entertaining guide.

Great Tour, I did the Warf & Waterfront and was excellent. The Segways are really easy to use, and with the help of the tour guides you feel comfortable going out in the street in just a couple of minutes. Super recommended for knowing SF

I came into my segway tour of Golden Gate Park not knowing what to expect. I had never used a segway before, and I wasn't really sure how I'd really be able to really enjoy a tour while attempting to ride one. I left the tour wanting to book another one! A segway is the perfect way to tour Golden Gate Park, and Electric Tour Company provides a great tour and fun experience! The afternoon started with a quick segway tutorial and safety lesson. Their instructors made everything really easy to understand, so I didn't feel like a beginner for long. After that, our tour began. Devin was a great guide. He was funny and was able to tell us so much about the history or the park (he also seemed to know a bit about funk music!). Even though I had visited the park a few times before, I learned so much more on the tour, and I even saw some parts of the park I hadn't experienced before. Riding a segway was also just really fun. We got to ride on and off pavement, and up and down slopes. If you are visiting the city and want a fun overview of the area, I recommend taking a tour with the Electric Tour Company. Even if you live in the area, check them out! Maybe you'll learn something new about the city.

The tour was nice, yet very slow due to the amount of people. The guide was amazing, really funny and easy going with tons of stories all the way. Yet, the preparation took forever even when we mentioned we are experienced and proved it on the "run". Repeating notes by video, mouth and on the device. Once would have been enough.

Bingo! We had it for free! They've brought in a new guide (a good one) and his maiden trip was free!

Took the night tour through China Town and north beach. We loved it! training was excellent and our host was so much fun. Teenagers said it was their favorite activity of our trip to SF. Highly recommend!

The Golden Gate Park Segway tour with Kelly was awesome! We traveled smoothly on paved roads, bike lanes, paths, and wooded trails throughout the park. We experienced beautiful scenery, picturesque photo ops, interesting information and history all along the way. It is an excellent adventure through Golden Gate Park, for locals and tourists alike.

Was a an excellent tour with an even better tour guide (Carlos). Carlos was informative, ran a fun tour and made sure everyone had a great experience. Traditional tours take pictures and want to sell you pictures at a crazy price. These guys will take pictures of you using your own camera. Even made sure to take video of my family individually. I highly recommend this company.

This is the best way to view the hills in the city! If you prove competence, you might be able to take the advanced tour and see more of the city. Melanie was an amazing guide who mixed humor and fun facts about the city. She has extensive knowledge of the city. Really enjoyed seeing all of the views and tackling Lombard Street! She prepared us well and kept us safe the entire time on the tour! Highly recommend!

I completely enjoyed our tour and taste testing! The staff were kind, funny and helpful. This was a blast. Sale items could be displayed better so we could tell what was on sale.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! The tour guide named Melanie was incredible. She was so talented and taught my entire family how to ride a segway in 10 minutes. She was knowledgeable and always cracking jokes. She even knew when the traffic lights would turn red. We enjoyed our tour tremendously and are thinking about doing another one. She answered all of our questions and gave lots of recommendations on things to do in the city. She was welcoming and friendly. She even provided us with gloves, cool helmets, and ponchos. She was very considerate of bathroom breaks and gave us feet breaks when we needed it. She was very enthusiastic about her job and even gave us cute fake doctorates saying we "graduated" from segway navigation. I will remember this experience for the rest of my life. I began in tears because I was so scared of segwaying and her enthusiasm gave me the confidence to actually get on the segway. Best experience ever!
