Amazing rides, foods, entertainment. Also has shuttles from remote locations.

Always fun, lots of smiles from employees and great bus service.

Everything was great but I think that it was a bit over priced.

Lets you meet diverse people from your own Community the food's not bad either

Make sure to get the lemonade cup which can be refilled at any location that sells lemonade for 3 dollars! :D

Always a fun excellent experience. My family always gets unlimited admission military passes so we're able to go multiple times. Once for the shopping and food, twice for the exhibit halls(since they can't all be seen at once), once with the whole family and occasionally we'll go a fifth time for a Switchfoot free concert.

Beyond expensive...we went during our honeymoon and spent more here than we did at the zoo and SeaWorld combined. There were too many people, the parking was beyond ridiculous the price to get in was triple that of any other state fair I've been to and to top it off the foot was 10 times the price of any fine dining. Go loaded or observe from a distance

County Fair's always great to go to eat a bunch of food get on some stupid rides check out what's new in trade shows and spend way too much money. I paid $20 for one potato deep-fried Australian Style. Best go once in awhile fight the traffic pay all that money and realize how you should never gone in the first place.

I loved this place so much fun and has some amazing food.

This San Diego fair previously, know it as "The Del Mar Fair" is the best way to introduce Summer days and nights by the Beach. Never too hot and awesome sunsets. Concerts are all best seats!!!

I had not come for years and I was surprised by how big it is, a very good place for the whole Family.

The SD Fair is a Southern California institution. Chicken Charlies food is iconic.

Fun and BIG! Food prices were outrageous, but that's the fair.

It is really good place to go for a good time... they have a lot of great food, weather and rides... you have to get there early to get free rides that ends on I had a really good time the Farris wheel is so big and tall very scary but fun scary...... I need to write 200 characters so that's why it so long so............................How are you doing today

Went to the kids expo. Kids expo was bleh and expensive but the fairgrounds were nice.

Super good to spend a weekend with the family, there are rides for adults and also an area for rides for children and there is food for children and in the adult area food for adults, there are several rooms with vendors of novelty items that you only find at fairs, in addition to concerts, very good food and shows

Thursday, June 22nd my friend and I arrive at Horse Park at 12:10 in the afternoon to see the Pointer Sisters 1:00 show. The line of people waiting to board the buses to shuttle us to the Fair Gate were nowhere to be found. There were at least 1,500 people in line guess 4 people across for 1/2 mile back in the dirt. The buses were arriving to load up every 25 minutes! TERRIBLE we have NEVER stood in line so long waiting just to get out of the Horse Park. We arrived at the front Gate at 1:48 the Pointer Sisters have 10 minutes left . 1 hour and 38 minutes (at least) standing in line at the Horse Park, we still had to get in line at the gate to turn in vouchers for tickets. INCREDIBLE, people with kids were extremely upset the kids were miserable. No answers and no workers seemed to have any answers, they acted as if it were normal. Never has it been this bad. I for one will NOT be going back to S.D. County Fair in years to come...not worth it.

Had a blast there with my family. Haven't been there since I was a kid.

It took too long to get there! 2 hours at the exit on the freeway. Probably won't go again.

Straight rip off. Asking for way to much money to have a good time with family.
First of all you gotta pay to get in the fair, then pay for parking and pay more for rides. It is not worth it. We would been better off going to Six Flags. The cost was so overwhelming, we could not enjoy ourselves. The food cost more than Disney land. Ridiculous.

A very nice fair where there is fun for all public in general

Gotta love the fair, food, gems shopping, arts & crafts. I was a bit disappointed this year that several businesses /booths that have been there for years weren't there this year I'm sure it has something to do with the economy. Very unfortunate. Speaking about economy & unfortunate going to the fair went up again this year, that took a bite out of my shopping budget

County Fair, larger than many State fairs. Something for everyone.

No problem on the drive there getting into the fair ( parking ) took about an hour but once my GF and I got in we had a really good time. The firework show was great. The food was pricey but it depends on where you chose to eat. We shopped and rode some rides overall it was a lot of fun and can't wait to do it again next year

It's a fun experience, but you spend a lot of money. It's 20 dollars for about 4 rides, 13 for parking, and 36 for entry (for two). Food is expensive too but that's to be expected... Bottom line is the rides are fun but don't go here with (2) or more people an expect to spend less than 140... By the time you pay for parking, entry, and 2 sets of tickets for 2 people to ride on 4 rides, you're already looking at 90 dollars, that's not including food or if you decide to do something extra.

Fun, crazy extravagant food, rides, what more can you ask?

Heck yeah! Del Mar (sd county) Fair is always awesome.

Concerts in your car is brilliant, so glad this venue is adapting to "our new normal"

Very similar vibe to previous years but the theme isn't that interesting. Craft and food competition entries seem sparse and have been combined in less space. Enjoy the food, music, rides and crazy stuff for sale, as always.

Fair was alot of fun and interesting. The shuttle service was awful. And the detour home could have been 20 minutes but sending me south tolk over an hour. Bus service from Escondido is worse.

It's okay. Rides are fun, food is delicious but makes you feel sick, games are rigged and next to impossible to win, crowds are crazy, but its a fun day none the less.

Fun crowded can be expensive. Lots to see & do typical county fair variety of food

Best part is the garlic battered deep fried artichoke hearts on a stick with ranch dressing from Roxy.

Del Mar fair isn't what it used to be but still awesome. Many exhibits. Wash your hands after petting animals. A few people got ecoli from eating and or petting animals alongbwith eating. Just wash your hands when you're here and plan to eat. But your momma already told you that

Worked there for the entire fair moving experience.

We have been coming here every year since I was a child. It never gets old! Now that I am a mommy it's even more fun starting a tradition with my own child.

The World of Horses exhibit was my favorite part of the fair!

It was fun just expect to spend a lot of money. If you lose just stop playing they will rip you off with your money (but hey that s on you). Food was expensive and the events that go on there are separate from the fair!!

It was our first time going to San Diego County Fair and it was an awesome experience! Tried the fried pickle with peanut butter! Had so much fun under the sun...=)

Meh. expensive, yet overpriced in a cheap and tacky sort of way ...

Doubled the Price Of Beer, Food, Admission, Gift Shop, and Almost Anything To The Point It Isnt Enjoyable Anymore.

Hardly any flowers hardly any animals only goats and cows the day we went!

Fun for the family. Their is something there for all ages .

There's lots to do at the fair and it's hard to see it all in one day. This year's theme was Wizard of Oz. They had a cool theme exhibit near O'brien gate with Oz memorabilia. Nothing beats house music DJ'd by a flying monkey. There's music and performances everywhere. There's also beer gardens at every turn, which is different from 13 years ago. The Del Mar Arena is also now shaded.

The cleanest fair I have been to in Southern California. Parking has many options from free off site with shuttles to several price points on site. All staff I have encountered has been caring and helpful . Small but packed with a lot. Has everything the larger fairs have. Something for everyone. Concerts, shopping, food, rides, animals and more. Every year has a different theme. This year was "How sweet it is"
