This place is not a good place to work and Devin asante is not a good supervisor but this office locks professionalism from all the workers at this office if they strive to provide excellent care why many patients don't receive that and most of your chhas are working under stress and many lock the skills to provide the excellent care that this place promise to treat people with professionalism and dignity this office a mess and coordinators don't know how to assign cases and talking to human resources as well as anybody in this office is a waste of time because they don't care about employees all they care about making the money will never recommend this place to nobody dealing with end of life.

They screwed me me as well and I only worked for them on weekends and yes since the company was in the process of changing at the time, yes a few of the are not nice. I remember everyone working as a team and really balancing how they treated everyone. They were so nice to work for but when I wanted to them to rehire me, when I left for a full time position and wanted to come back it was extremely different, it was simply the "You are replaceable" attitude not nice at all as I remember. So I do not understand of why all of a sudden it's ok to give good reviews but if it is a bad review and the truth on how you were treated, now it's we don't discuss it while giving a review???? Well my review I got screwed and the lady who did screw me out of rehiring was RUDE and MEAN!!! Someone new obviously, was hired in that department and has no idea what how to interact professionally. Ok - To the owner who responded to me we don't discuss how people who work for you are treated....first of it's called "freedom of speech" and given how I was treated I have no intentions of calling to discuss with you about anything! Your employers in charge had their chance and they treated me garbage and DID NOT GIVE ME the RESPECT as a human to being, they had mean and nasty attitudes! The only comments you want on this page are ONES that make your company look good and disregard the negative ones that are truly letting people what kind of place you run! And no I am not calling you, for what so you can try and intimidate me?? Which is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard of, so do not comment on my review when your page CLEARLY says leave a review! I suggest you give your email employers a class on how to treat people with Professionalism, Respect, and Common Decency. The name is Geeksville, not Geeks, and how about leaving a contact name and a extension to call instead of the "Regular" 800 phone number that the public calls? And the same answer you give to ALL reviews that state the truth! And everyone who sees this message, just look all the people that were mistreated by your compnay is answered, it's the same message except when there is a positive one, that should let everyone know what is really going on behind the scene! And I am not calling "Human Resources" since this company has changed with new employees in that department, are the ones who treated like garbage. I thank God everyday I work somewhere else where, where aides are respected for what we do.

I AM WRITING THIS NEGATIVE REVIEW ON BEHALF OF MY ...

I AM WRITING THIS NEGATIVE REVIEW ON BEHALF OF MY SISTER WHO PASSED AWAY ON APRIL 7, 2018 AT 6:44 A.M. SAMARITAN HOSPICE USED TO BE GOOD THEY CARED FOR MY MOTHER 14 YEARS AGO SO WHEN WE WERE TOLD MY SISTER WOULD NEED HOSPICE CARE THERE WAS NO QUESTION AS TO WHO WE WOULD WANT TO CARE FOR HER...WE SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS AND YOU SHOULD ALSO. SHE WAS SENT HOME THE FRIDAY BEFORE EASTER IT WAS AN UNORGANIZED MESS FROM THE START NO ONE SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON...WE HAD AN ADMITTING NURSE COME TO GET SOME GENERAL INFORMATION BUT WE WERE TOLD BECAUSE IT WAS A HOLIDAY WEEKEND WE PROBABLY WOULD NOT SEE HER REGULAR NURSE UNTIL MONDAY OR TUESDAY OF THE NEXT WEEK..THEY COULD NOT GIVE US A SCHEDULE FOR WHEN WE WOULD BE GETTING HELP WITH THE BATHING BECAUSE IT WAS A HOLIDAY WEEKEND. WE COULD NOT GET ANY SUPPLIES INCLUDING DIAPERS WHICH WE NEED DESPERATELY BECAUSE IT WAS A HOLIDAY WEEKEND. THE HOSPITAL GAVE US A FEW DIAPERS WHEN SHE WAS DISCHARGED THAT WERE WAY TOO SMALL WE HAD TO USE TAPE TO KEEP THEM CLOSED. WHEN EVER WE MADE A CALL INTO THE SERVICE IT TOOK FOREVER FOR THEM TO GIVE US A CALL BACK...THEN THEY TOOK OUR INFORMATION AND TOOK AT LEAST 20 TO 30 MINUTES MORE FOR SOMEONE TO CALL US BACK. WE DID HAVE AN AIDE SHOW UP ON THE MONDAY AFTER EASTER TO HELP WITH BATHING...WE THOUGHT SHE WOULD BE BRINGING SUPPLIES WITH HER...SHE DID NOT AND SHE SAID SHE CAN'T BELIEVE THAT SUPPLIES WERE NOT DELIVERED YET...A DIFFERENT AIDE SHOWED UP THE NEXT DAY TUESDAY...AND STILL NO ONE CALLING US REGARDING THE SCHEDULE THE ONLY WAY WE KNEW SOMEONE WAS COMING IS WHEN THEY SHOWED UP. SO SHE ARRIVES ON TUESDAY WITH NO SUPPLIES STILL USING THE SMALL DIAPERS WITH TAPE . AS I SAID BEFORE SHE PASSED AWAY ON JUNE 7 THE ON CALL PERSON WAS AWARE WHAT WAS GOING ON THE THAT MORNING ...WE GOT NO SUPPORT NO ONE SHOWING UP FOR HELP OR SUPPORT. IT WAS UP TO US HER FAMILY TO ADMINISTER HER MEDICATIONS UNTIL SHE PASSED....YES SOMEONE SHOWED UP ABOUT 45 MINUTES TO AN HOUR AFTER SHE PASSED SHE GOT OUT HER STETHOSCOPE AND SAID YES SHE HAS PASSED BUT SHE KNEW THAT BECAUSE OF THE CALL WE HAD PUT IN 45 MINUTES EARLIER. IT WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE...NO SUPPORT AT ALL....THEY KEPT TELLING US THAT THEY OFFER ANYONE IN THE FAMILY COUNSELING...BUT IF THEY COULD NOT BE THERE FOR US AND MY SISTER WHEN WE REALLY NEEDED THEM...WHY WOULD I CALL THEM AFTER THE FACT....MY SISTER WAS A LOVING AND CARING WOMAN WHO CARED FOR HER SICK SON FOR 14 YEARS UNTIL HE PASSED...SHE DID NOT DESERVE THIS TYPE OF SERVICE....SHE DESERVED A LOT MORE......OH BY THE WAY WE WENT 6 DAYS WITH OUT SUPPLIES ..BUT THEY KEPT SENDING THEM TO THE HOUSE AFTER SHE PASSED....THEY WERE CONTACTED TO STOP DELIVERY BUT THEY CONTINUED TO SEND THEM THEY WERE NOW PILING UP AT THE HOUSE...THEY WOULD NOT PICK THEM BACK UP THEY SAID IT WAS OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO DONATE THEM IF WE WANTED TO. TO ANYONE USING THIS COMPANY FOR THEIR LOVED ONES I HOPE THEY DON'T PASS AWAY AROUND ANY HOLIDAY AS THAT SEEMS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE ON WHAT KIND OF CARE YOUR LOVED ONE WILL GET....

My Mom received care from Samaritan at home in her final weeks of life. I can't say enough good things about the kindness, concern and professionalism I experienced from everyone connected with Samaritan during that time. I will always be grateful to all of the people involved.

Samaritan has been horrible throughout COVID. My grandmother isn t getting her medications or ostomy supplies. When we call asking for ostomy supplies they said if it leaks just hold a towel against it and wait . It has been a week since we asked. Our nurse left and we never got another one. Nursing only comes in as needed or once every other week. The nurse didn t even know how to take her staples out and they waited too long so she was in so much pain. Choose another company.

Two members of our family were served by Samaritan in their final days. Samaritan provided exceptional and compassionate care, and allowed our loved ones to feel comfortable and our family to find peace at a very difficult time. The nurses, caregivers, and others working at Samaritan are truly angels. Samaritan has my highest recommendation.

The manager rya is so disrespectful. I was talked down to during the orientation process. Then fired all because i forgot my uniform let me go back home to get it only to be told when i got back that i was being let go. I was told by this manager during orientation that i looked mean while this manager was speaking to the orientation class. Pointing me out for no reason I had a great bond with everyone else and they made me feel welcomed but this manager will be the down fall of this company. All this took place during orientation ive never experienced anything like this. They lost a great care employee

My father revived in home care from Samaritan. From the home health aid to the assigned nurse to the dispatchers on the phone, everyone provided the most attentive and thoughtful care. It made the most difficult experience of my life more manageable. I will never forget their care.

If I could give negative stars I would. This company is very unprofessional. I have a tip, do some thorough background investigation before you hire anymore incompetent staff members. Stay clear of this company if you want your loved ones to be in good hands go somewhere else. So much for the Samaritan difference.

My grandmother was recently at Virtua Mt. Holly Hospital following a fractured hip. During her stay, she started to decline due to lung issues and my family made the tough decision to move her to the Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice Center at the hospital. From the moment I walked through those doors, I felt a sense of calm and comfort. The atmosphere and, more importantly, the staff put you at ease during one of the most difficult times a family can endure - being faced with the imminent passing of a loved one. All patients have a large, private room and compassionate nurses to care for them 24/7. My grandmother passed just two days after we moved her to Samaritan. During those two days, she was made comfortable, re-positioned frequently, checked in on, and treated with care and respect. My family was able to use the kitchen and sitting areas, speak with staff to have all of our questions and concerns addressed, and grieve when needed. We didn't know what to expect when she was transferred there, but I now know that I wouldn't have wanted her to be anywhere else during her transition from this life. Thank you, Samaritan.

The Samaritan team is very knowledgeable and compassionate. They cared for my mom during her decline from dementia. Mom enjoyed their company, and they were an extra set of hands to help keep her healthy, comfortable and clean. I highly recommend them.

I'm very upset and disappointed with samaritan hospice. They never policed or investigated on how things happened and why? My daughter wasn't getting her meds and that was never addressed. Lastly my daughter passed 12:30am July 28 and no one from samaritan has reach out to me yet to offer their condolences or even to see if we need counseling.

Samaritan assisted my family with my 98 year-old mother's passing, and we are so grateful for their help. The hospital bed and all supplies were delivered in a timely fashion. All of the staff were compassionate and professional, and were happy to answer all of our questions, which couldn't have been easy, since there were three of us sitting with my mother at various times. They were excellent at adjusting the timing and dosages of medications to keep my mother comfortable and our schedules less hectic. We had to request an unscheduled visit on very short notice, on a weekend, and they came through for us like heroes! My sister had witnessed Samaritan's wonderful home hospice care three times before, with her friends and their elderly parents, and she was so impressed that we had decided to use their services if/when necessary for our mother. I'm really glad we did.

I am not much for leaving reviews. However, Samaritan's team of incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional staff deserve as many stars as possible. Five stars just doesn't seem adequate to describe the experience my family and I had as they saw us through the most painful chapter of our lives. The passing of my father.

From our first call to the admissions personnel to each visit afterwords, our family was treated as though we were the only people relying on Samaritan's services.

What an impression they made. I don't know how we could have been in better hands. If you or your loved ones require end of life care, Samaritan is the answer.

Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice is truly the best organization of its kind. In my experience, the staff is extremely kind, compassionate, and professional, without exception, and they are committed to providing the highest quality care for their patients. I often recommend this organization to people I know, because I absolutely trust them to provide excellent care for my loved ones. I cannot say enough positive things about this organization.

Firstly, let me say I thought Samaritan was a respectable organization who had polite staff. As a nurse who was formerly a CHHA, I referred my friend to this company. I was told the recruiter Devin was extremely unprofessional and rude. For someone who is not even qualified for the job he's hiring for how can you interrogate a potential employee? With the company having a need you would think he would be more professional. I have many nursing professionals that I know being that I am an LPN and will be an RN within the next month. I've been around the block enough to know nursing agencies and they just put a bad taste in my mouth. As an RN I will never work here.
