Fabulous place for a date night. Beautiful presentations. Very pricey!!
Recently stayed at SLS and I couldn t have been more pleased. It is beautiful and everyone who works there was so friendly and helpful.
They had nice rooms. The theme was interesting and the room was well designed.
Didn't stay here but the free parking was great as this is where we go to get on the monorail. So convenient.
Restaurant service is slow. The food in the Cafe restaurant is mediocre at best. The casino is on the small side and not very busy. Rooms are ok. Was woken up one morning at 5 am to the sound of construction going on, and I was on the 22nd floor. The tram is right out back though which is good.
Horrible and I never leave reviews but downgraded tre first night for no reason. Nothing like going from a king bed to two twins beds. I was told booking third party only means you get a room and not any specific room...?? Never happened to me in Vegas or anywhere for that matter. To top it off I paid for my friends room as well and 20 minutes after their were no kings they somehow upgraded my friends room to a king! Craziness!!! Just stay down on the strip where it costs a little more but there is a reason for that cost difference.
The rooms were great, customer service was fantastic. Only one complaint, no fridge for your drinks in room nor drawers for clothes.
Great accommodations. Friendly staff and great atmosphere! Beautiful and nicely renovated location! Looking forward to the name change back to Sahara soon!
Just don't care for the vibe....place looks great and is very clean.
Overall, rooms are clean but service wasn't great at any of the desks. Rooms are bare minimums, no bath, no minibar. Connecting to the monorail is great but location is pretty far from most things on the strip.
Long lines, not enough machines. We tried the machines and suffered loses on all of them. Food was very expensive, and this place is located so far away from everything on the strip that you need a lot of energy to venture down the strip. Next time I would choose flamingo, or mgm or pretty much anywhere else
My wife and I visited for our anniversary. Great staff, clean rooms, beautiful view. We will return.
Cool place. End of monorail track. Great service. Enjoyed.
Very elegant and good customer service inside. Oh also the food is a spectacular
Great hotel with great amenities, can't wait to go back
First night... So far so good... Nice hotel and restaurants... Monorail station outside is very convenient.
Beautiful place to visit. All the Hotels ate just astonishingly beautiful. Try strolling thru each one day and at night.
Clean, and very good service, especially Magda, the Concierge.
The staff were friendly and they went out of their way to accommodate my wife and I at check in. The rooms and mini bar are awesome.
Great for those who've done Vegas before and want to be near downtown or be on the strip but not in the midst of all the crazy. Great food. Nice rooms and value. Cool salt water pool. Concierge put us onto some great parties... R&R. Not super crowded.
It was nice a bit crazy right now due to construction but nice.
Rooms are very nicely designed with a lot of mirrors. This hotel is very affordable.
Great place on the north end of the Vegas strip, just changed its name to Sahara. The are updating all the time. Try the Umi Burger while you are there.
Very clean hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. I've only been there a handful of times, at two of the clubs, for company holiday parties. They're very nice, especially the huge terraces/patios. The bartenders are so friendly.
Awesome casino very clean great restaurants. Hopefully the casino part grows more. But overall we will stay here again.
Pretty cool hotel. We liked the room we had, it was a single king bed and had a good amount of room. The foxtail pool party was chill (in a good way) not overcrowded and the service if the pool staff was great.
A very modern, chic hotel located at the end of the strip. Easily accessible by the monorail so you can explore the rest of the Las Vegas strip. The room was modern furnishings, with arts and paid tings buts it's very small. Also I am a Platinum Elite member and they do not upgrade you. Free parking so that's a plus. Also the casino area is Non Smoking so that'svery good to me. Great food options.
Cons: I was travelling with my colleagues for a company conference and they have to wait at least 3 hours to get their room since they are not SPG member. Totally Unacceptable.
Most likely I will not stay at this hotel again.
We did not stay at the SLS we only visited the casino and had drinks it was beautiful obviously one of the newer casinos the wait staff was great definitely not as big as most of the casinos as it only has one floor but definitely very beautiful
Great Jazz concerts, they now have seating at the Foundry
The SLS may be a good hotel if you re vacationing. And even so, it seems that not every employee is in the same page to provide accurate information nor excellent service.
Business wise? It s a financial clutter of BS and an inconvenience to do or arrange anything!
Something as simple as the following:
My company ships 2 boxes for a presentation I did with our business partner. I was told upon arriving, ( Christina, a manager.) that there will be a charge to send the boxes to my room or directly to the conference room. Ok, I have no problem with that. What can it possibly be $40.00 max?
I asked the front desk girl for my boxes. At first they couldn t find it there in the hotel because supposedly it didn t have my name. It did. She tells me is $70.00. She explained that FedEx ( in the 2nd floor of the hotel.) charged me that amount for holding my boxes for 2 days.
I payed it $60.00 cash $10.00 on my personal credit card. I m not sure why I had to pay it if the hotel had our company s business Credit Card on file.
She hands me receipt. $125.00!!!!!!! Feel free to open the attachment.
I questioned why these charges and what they meant?
This became a debate with the front desk girl. It s ok if you don t know, just get me someone that does. But instead, I was told by this unprofessional front desk persons that she didn t like my tone simply because she wasn t sure or didn t know herself. She refused to continue to speak to me!
A director from my company calls and I was refunded $70.00. Yet!!!! They charged the business Credit card the $125.00.
As my 2 boxes are being sent to my room,
A manager Aaron, Explains the following:
Porterage $70.00 A Union Law that is charged to pay the bellman/doorman for his labor in lifting the boxes.
Ok? Aren t these people your employees? Isn t taking boxes or packages to any room/rooms part of their job description?
FedEx Office $55.00. That s the correct amount that was charged for holding my boxes in the hotel for 2 days.
Later that same day I go back to the front desk and ask for assistant to get these boxes to the conference room. I was charged $20.00. What?!
I asked if I can use one of their carts, and was told We are not allowed to lend them out to our guest. I felt everything but never like a guest.
Again, feel free to open the attachments.
I travel intensively. I ve stayed in numerous hotels. I had NEVER been charged for all this. No wonder they keep remodeling, this is a scam. I know that I can not be the only one this has happened to at the SLS.
Our Business partners chose this hotel. I can assure the owner of this Hotel, that I will be staying at another hotel if next year the classes are held here.
The place is aesthetically pleasing and has a lot of ambiance. However, I spent a few hundred dollars there in a matter of minutes. The gaming was terrible and I couldn't get a winning hand or spin or whatever I put my money into. It didn't even last long enough for me to say at least I got my money's worth for the entertainment value for as long as I as able to play. If you come to Vegas to gamble, don't do it at the SLS.
Hotel is nice, but the room cleanliness is a bit off. A half eaten subway was in our mini fridge upon arrival, floor did not seem to be swept well, and a condom was under the mattress. Also the mini bar was not stocked.
Very friendly staff and nice lobby though.
I enjoyed my stay. It was much more than I expected.
We have been through the SLS multiple times this vacation. It's a great jump off point and they do some great cocktail requests.
Used to be a nice hotel when it was the SLS. It's gone down hill. Sheets on the bed felt like sandpaper. Had to flip the bottom sheet to be able to sleep. No bedside table light. Dark and dank. New ownership has ruined a formally nice hotel. Won't be back.
When to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The food, service and atmosphere was awesome. The food was delicious. A little pricey but you're in Vegas and the key question is "Are you worth it?" The answer is "hell YES". A must try.
Good hotel! Housekeeping was on point. Only bad thing is that the pool closes at 8. Had no time to take a swim.
Although the rooms are relatively small they are very well-appointed, clean sharp lines industrial kind of decor with a Modern Edge. The people at the guest services and housekeeping are very helpful polite and friendly. There's a coffee shop in the lobby called PERQ. That offers a wide array of the standard coffee Fair. As you would expect there's a casino and multiple restaurants in Clues including Bazaar Meats and Cleo. In all honesty I can't think of a negative comment that I have other than perhaps the numbering system to get to your room. You just have to remember the tower you're in, the floor you're on, and your room number and you'll be just fine. I found actually the guests to be very friendly here as well.
They are very picky on who they let into their casino. We were kicked out because of our looks despite legal documentation. We witnessed people of color being forced out for no reason. This place discriminates and should not get your business.
Beautiful decor good restaurants staff great and helpful.
Excellent service, ability to answer questions and amenities. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. No complaints!
Location is a bit far from the strip but overall great experience
Familiarity with the SLS Beverly Hills -- and nostalgia over this Sahara corner of Vegas -- made me curious enough to visit during opening week, become a "Code" member, and return with the youngsters. I like it. I like having access to Fred Segal. I like the stylish rooms (they have King beds and rooms with double beds - why, I don't know). There's a cool infinity mirror installation in the rooms which makes makes me want to return on a romantic interlude. There's quirky painting details, monkeys and body parts, a la Philippe Starck throughout. The palette is a refreshing alternative to colorful Vegas. The small scale lobby is charming (it takes far too long to check in, however). It's a likable place.
Good spot a little further down the strip. Not too crowded and has good tables.
well maintained hotel resort and will be coming back for sure.best service
This was my first time inside this casino. I liked the styling, and it wasn't overly smoky. Free parking too. I would go back!
Wonderful place to stay. Nice rooms, pleasant staff, lots to do.
Very modern/hipster styling. Room has way too many mirrors. Staff was just fine, and has all the standard Las Vegas amenities like casino, multiple restaurants, and more.
This place was a lot nicer than I expected. They allowed us to check in a bit early and have helped us with anything we needed. The decoration is kind of weird
Great hotel, but location is pretty far from all of the excitement. Very classy!
Nice resort. Toward the North end of the strip so don't expect to walk there from the core strip. Undergoing renovations so some bars / casino space unavailable. All staff was friendly. Self park is free.
Room was beautiful and bed was extremely comfortable. Customer Service was great!
this is a bit of a hidden gem. as it is further down the strip it is not as busy. however it is a nice hotel and still on the strip. the staff were nice and the redesigned rooms are nice as well
Very well signed. I was looking for signs for the monorail and was about to find my way easily.
Insulation blew all over the room and they vacuumed but didn t fix it or off us to change rooms ( I hope it wasn t asbestos) room was on the humid side, when I put the soda I bought down it was stolen and security could of cared less even though they were right there- had to order without some items at Northside cafe because of allergies made sure to confirm my order and it had it anyways but they just oh well... but it was decorated nice...
No coffee machine in the room. Refrigerator is full of liquor and is locked. Too far away from the strip. No great view from window.
Nice hotel a little bit off the main drag of the strip. A few good dining options, rooms are nice and a good size. Overpriced resort fee.
Nice rooms, not keen on black walls and mirrors everywhere , spooky
Didn't stay here but they had a restaurant I really liked
We went through the SLS on our way to Fremont Street experiance. This hotel is the very last stop on the monorail. Very modern, clean and nice looking place. Seemed a little empty in the casino area though. Due to it's location it would be a tough sell to stay there for a whole trip.
Nice reasonably priced but don't forget the approx $100 extra fee they charge at check-in ($50 deposit & $44 resort fee per night - we coughed up about $500 for a 5 night stay). They listed $100 deposit but only charged $50. Most other hotels are $100 deposit per night plus $60-70 resort fee per night.
The room was very clean and upscale. The restaurants in the hotel were delicious. It is about 2 miles north of all the buzz of the strip. If you stay here, prepare to walk or spend money on Uber/Monorail. Overall, I'd stay here again.
The hotel is fine, I like it,
But The internet is terrible in the rooms, almost equal to nonresistance. And the reception looks like they can careless when I ask for an email receipt.
Ate an absolutely amazing meal at Northside reataurant and had a blast at the casino as well!
A decent hotel. On the north part of the strip, so it's a little walk (or monorail ride) to the bigger hotels. The rooms are clean, and they have a funky design. The hotel overall has a funky, modern look. The restaurants are decent, if overpriced.
Easy access to get to the monorail..good machines and tables to play
Elevator situation was horrible, I understand the wait needed to ensure 4 ppl per person from the lobby, but the wait to get on the elevator from your floor is something I've never experienced. 5 elevator cars arrived filled with people and there was no room for us. We all decided to take the stairs (as many others carrying luggage). Also, the rooms smelled musty and smokey. The adjacent neighborhood is less than desirable as well. Do yourself a favor and stay closer to civilization.
That end of the strip continues to disappoint. Would be nice to see a new investor take over the casino, restaurants and shows. Venetian, Caesars, Mirage, Wynn blow that end away. Lovitz/Cavey a big disappointment.
