I wrote a review yesterday and inadvertently I pressed 1 star instead of 10 stars. From day 1 I was greeted like we were friends . I was told me and only me was their primary concern. This was 100% spot on. I don't like to endorse anyone or anything because it usually comes back to bite me in the tush. This is an exception. G,L AND K are 1st rate 1st class. True professionals but they never had an issue with being personal with me. I recommend and endorse this firm and all their staff wholeheartedly. 10 stars if possible. Yes, yes, and YES - in a time of need, GLK has all the attributes listed in this google review app and more! I am so grateful for GLK service and care. My accident in 2016 changed my life in more ways than I could have imagined. I never thought I would need legal help. I found all of the GLK staff so caring, informed and experts in their field. Always ethical and patient - they wanted what was best for me - to heal and get back to my life. This was always the priority in phone calls and in every meeting and conversation. Unfortunately, I did not return to my pre-accident life and we proceeded with a legal path that ended in a trial and settlement. With their advice, I had everything in place for a strong case. I felt supported and listened to throughout the whole process. These are surreal times. We managed to settle a week before NYC was quarantined.
Initially I worked with Jeff and Ed directly after my accident. Dan Linson handled the majority of my pre-trial case, coming to my house to meet me and my family as well as prep for our depositions. Avi was assigned to us as we approached trial. I had never met Avi (we were quite attached to Dan and Will Adams!) but like all the staff at GLK, Avi spent considerable care and time getting to know us to prepare for trial. Trial was difficult but Avi and the whole firm fought for us and I mean fought! I pray that their families, your employees, and communities are ok, especially in the coming weeks. We are sooo grateful to have this ordeal behind us and we feel blessed to have a settlement.
Ten years ago I was visiting family in New York City from California. On my second day there I tripped over a subway grate on Wall Street and broke my neck. I spent 35 days in St. Vincent Hospital and had two spinal surgeries. I had no health insurance so just the medical bills were beyond my capability to pay. Friends of friends introduced me to Gersowitz Libo & Korek. Ed Gersowitz came to my hospital room to take my statement, he told me that slip and fall cases were very hard to prove but he took my case on contingency which began a long process of many trips back to NYC to see doctors and lawyers but Ed never gave up and eventually after six years he prevailed and because of his dogged determination and his skill I was able to pay the bills and now have a secure future. To me Ed is like family and I am thankful every day that he came into my life. That is not hyperbole, even though I still have constant pain I have no financial worries and so I thank Gersowitz, Libo & Korek for standing with me during the most difficult time of my life.
