Fabulous hair color ever gotten. Wonderful ladies working there. Love the place. Lost the card for my hairdresser but she was excellent.

I don't understand how this place has such great reviews. My experience at the spa was less than stellar. I had a facial there with Wendy. The building is old (you can hear everything, from people chatting in the hallway to the clothes dryer buzzer). The facial was not on par with other services in the county - probably why they are less expensive. I won't be going back.

I have been in Southern Maryland for over more than ten years. I finally found someone who can do my hair, Gia is so awesome, PLEASE don t let her go!!!!!! It is pricey, but you get your money s worth, because of Gia, I would save all I have to go to her. I hope you know what a great person Gia is, l m sure there are plenty of others there that do a super job too, but, being my first time, I hope Gia is there for quite some time!!!!

Absolutely loved coming here ! I had 13 inches cut off my hair by Megan a couple weeks ago and she could not have been more supportive! I was very stressed out to chop off all my hair but Megan made me feel much more relaxed and gave me a beautiful new do! I can't thank Megan enough for giving me this confidence and making me feel more like myself! 100% recommend this salon and Megan

I recently visited S-kape for a spray tan before homecoming. Megan did my spray tan and she made me feel comfortable throughout the entire experience. I will be going to her for all my spray tan needs and highly recommend her and S-kape to anyone in the Southern Maryland area!

Dr. Schmidt is wonderful! She is meticulous in her treatments and truly cares about her clients. She even reached out to me to make sure I was happy with my treatment and wasn't having any problems. She definitely goes the extra mile! The whole atmosphere at S-Kape is friendly and fun. I'm so glad to have such a great spa close by. I'll definitely be back!

Jamie really did a great job relaxing me for my first massage. She walked me through what she was doing and was the ultimate professional. It was my first massage outside of a chiropractic massage done almost a decade ago and it felt amazing. She worked on my knots without causing any pain and my body has felt better all day more so than it has felt in years. I ve already booked my next appointment with her! Thank you, Jamie!

There's usually no parking available on front of the salon. Trying to walk around the building is difficult and in the winter will be nearly impossible with ice and snow. Why can't customers come in the back door?

Been going for over a year now and I'm always very happy with my hair. Stylists take care to show you how to style it yourself and are very friendly and personable.

I have been having Angela cut and color me for almost three years now and love her work!! She is so personable, gives great advice for what will and will not work with my hair type, and I always leave her chair feeling like a million bucks! My last cut and color with her I told her to just surprise me (she knows what I like and don t like) and it has been by far my most favorite cut AND color ever!!! To top it off, I have a severe allergy to all hair color and she goes far above and beyond to foil in ALL of my color and minimize any irritation from the color on my skin! I can t say enough about Angela and this salon! :)

April did a great job on my naturally curly thick hair! You really won't be disappointed! I drive an hour to get there and it's worth it hands down!!!

Angie always does a great job on my cut and color. Everyone at S-kape is extremely knowledgeable and nice. I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for an upscale salon in southern Maryland.

We have been costumers for several years here. Staff is friendly.

I asked for my roots to be touched up, and specifically requested that no orange or copper tones showed up. $140 later, and my roots are orange. The Hair Co is expensive too, but for the same price, I get the color I want. Skape is a rip off. Two stars because the staff is friendly.

You get what you pay for! My stylist, Eliana Smith. So let s face it we all want to save money but isn t your hair one of your first features seen? I had my hair done prior before a vacation, not the color I wanted even after a redo. Eliana suggested a glaze to achieve the platinum I wanted along with a hair treatment to assist the damage from going blonde. Like MAGIC... I was in love with the color and texture of my hair again! I was pleasantly surprised from the moment entering. The professionalism of staff and knowledge of hair and products from my stylist was a pleasant and rare surprise for me. I will be returning! Thanks Eliana for a great fix.

Went for my first massage and made a second one before I left. So relaxing and much needed. I liked the masseuse didn't ask a ton of questions and talk the entire time. I have had that before.

Have been a client for years and plan to stay a client for years to come. Everyone is personable and professional. Would highly recommend this salon to anyone seeking a style of their own.

My family treated me to a facial and massage at S-Kape for my birthday. Liz provided my massage, and Ashley, my facial. Both were fantastic! I am from out of town, but if living there, I would schedule monthly. The entire salon has friendly and professional personnel, who genuinely want you to have the best and most relaxing spa experience.

This place makes me feel beautiful! Top Notch employees and service.

Many talented, friendly staff here, shop is small & feels crowded, but it's very well decorated both upstairs and down. Great variety of services offered to be pampered with. Expensive for the higher level hair dressers. If only hair appts could be a tax write off.

Edited 6/14/19: Shortly after posting this, one of the staff members (Torie I believe?) got in contact with us about our experience. She agreed that a gel should not be flaking after 4-5 days, and set about finding the an appointment to correct the issue. She also corrected me about the nail art issue, which isn't an offering from this salon. That was likely my mistake and I got it mixed up with another salon as I had been looking at several salons before I settled on s-kape.

My girlfriend just came back, they removed the old, failing polish and reapplied. It's obvious they took their time, no polish on the skin, polish continues the full length of the nail and it has a beautiful luster. They did excellent work this time.

As such I'm updating this review, the service has been par excellence at every step, both with the initial appointment, the follow on from the initially negative review and the follow up appointment. Many places would ignore you, blame you or make it an unpleasant experience. The folks at s-kape have been fantastic at every step of the way, and they've taken every opportunity to make my girlfriend comfortable at every step.

I would recommend this place, and I doubt you could find better customer service in St. Marys.

I'm leaving the former review so that others who may have issues know that s-kape is willing to go above and beyond in correcting issues.

Was a rather disappointing visit.

I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday, she'd never had a manicure before and this place had good reviews.

After paying $40 and being assured it should take roughly an hour, she returns not even 45 minutes later. Based on their site I had expected some phenomenal art, but not even. Two basic colors, no gradient, no patterns, no appliques. Polish on the skin that hadn't been cleaned off properly. Other then being gel instead of standard polish you could do a better job at home.

I've been told a gel manicure should last at least two weeks, so if it fails before then I'll definitely be returning to complain. From looking at other salons in the area, this type of manicure normally goes for 25-30, so it was overpriced for what it was and even if it wasn't, save your money and do it at home.

The folks however were very friendly, and the place has an upbeat, eccentric atmosphere and is very clean. Maybe the other services are better, but I would avoid it for manicures in the future.

I have longer then average, thick, curly hair and I was in an out in less than an hour which almost NEVER happens for me. During my time there I was at ease, relaxed and comfortable. Ashleigh was my stylist and I happily scheduled my next appointment with her before departing. I'll be going to S-Kape from now on for all my future beauty and spa needs.

Got my first ever Brazilian wax before heading to Mexico for vacation! Wendy did a great job talking during as a distraction. She was very discreet, so I felt as comfortable as one can feel with your business showing. Had a great first experience and should I decide to continue, I would definitely go back :)

A real professional experience! Exceptional stylists, but you will pay the price.

Megan is awesome, highly recommend! I was a walk-in and they had me in a chair in 15 minutes, my hair looks great!

I m New the the Leonardtown area and was in need of a few salon. I called this morning for a cut and color and Gia was able to get me in right away! She was amazing, she told me what was in my budget and he was soooo nice and talked the whole time I was there!

Cute salon, location ( parking can be an issue if around at peak times) but not horrible.
My first visit there they gave me a little gift bag/ welcome bag. I don t know if that is a salon thing or the stylist I had.
I only got my eyebrows done but I would defiantly like To go back and use my coupon for salon services

Absolutely loved Megan! I wasnt sure how I wanted my hair colored and gave her a few photos to look at. She asked me all the right questions and delivered! She is also full of facts about hair products and how to properly take care of your hair. I would highly recommend going to see her!
