If you need answers or doctors that care, RUN AWAY!

My PCP sent FIVE years worth of abnormal blood results before I could even schedule an appointment. During my initial visit, the Doctor NEVER even looked at them. He scheduled some tests that were negative, but says there is no need for follow up because he STILL hasn t looked at blood results from PCP! Great, two negative tests, but please don t ask an Oncologist to evaluate and figure out what caused five years worth of abnormal results!

They have a very caring staff here. They don't have very convenient handicap accessible parking, but they have a drop off right at the door. They usually have an attendant who will assist with loading and unloading patients into cars with wheelchairs provided by the Cancer Center.

Couldn't have made it thus far without Cancer Center of St Francis, battling with started out to be One type of unknown cancer. Months of test, a great amount of stress and depression as well as a huge finical burden. Finally was revealed to be Sarcoma (Bone Cancer). Previous Oncologist refused treatment as he was sure stage 4 was in place and it was to late. I was giving 2-3 months to live. I decided to get a second opinion, went to St Francis, although there was many more tests, a little bit of a waiting game. The staff, my Oncologist, made me feel more at ease, more alive and not as a walking corpse with no hope. However the actual testing lead to the towards the correct direction. Multiple cancer, as well as a few birth defects however Sarcoma bone cancer, Was my new fight, yet it wasn't near the end zone or close to winning the battle I was and yet still am only at stage 3. With a few surgeries and Chemotherapy as well as the most stubborn with all positivity yet determined Oncologist, slowly but most defiantly taking of over this fight and not giving up. Previously before St Francis, I literally had no support system. I often felt like giving up, I felt hopeless and ready to let Cancer win. With the Cancer Center of St Francis being my only support system, each day I am closer to putting up a bigger fight. I could never be more thankful for all the staff, my wonderful Oncologist as well as the Radiation center and all the surgeons. If you want hope, a friend, a support system choose St Francis, Cancer Center of Tulsa, Ok.

My mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer and shortly after she was taken to the ER and had a small stroke. The hospitalist got us in contact with Dr Kaleem and this man came up not only on his day off, but on a Saturday at 7:30pm to go over my moms case and answer any and all questions we had. Within 3 days we were in his office and he scheduled her to get her port placed, have our family learning meeting AND start her chemo in less than 1 week. This includes getting approval from the insurance. Dr Kaleem is a very personable doctor and extremely intellegent! We would recommend him to any and everyone we know!
