Last year I bent up a special ring. I took it into them and asked if they could bend it back for me. They had it back to normal in a few minutes and didn't even charge me for it. They were also able to get my watch battery replaced after another jeweler said it wasn't changeable. They even charged me less than the other jeweler.
I always encourage friends to look at SE Needham when looking for jewelery, wedding rings, getting items fixed or cleaned. They are the best!
What an amazing experience we had here. The sales person (Larz) we worked with was outstanding, very knowledgeable and very upfront about all of our options, and just a great fun person in general. I've always been impressed with Needham's in Logan. They are always happy to see anyone that comes into their store, and they treat people very professionally. Worst service ever!!!! They get you to buy the ring and have this "so called guarantee" if you bring your ring in for the inspection every 6 months. Well I did that with mine then one of my prongs was wearing down. I told them that at the cleaning, they said it's fine everything is tight. So 4 months later my diamond falls out and gets lost. they make me pay for a new one. They said oh I will have Gene call you. No Call was ever returned I made multiple calls then they told me they would get diamonds equivalent to what I had and I could come pick one out. So weeks later I get a call saying my ring is done!!!! I said ummm I never picked out a diamond. The response was "well Gene picked one out and he discounted it". Discounted something that should have been under a guaranteed plan!!!! Yah so they made me pay for it..... When they built up the prongs you could see every drip line from the soldering it looked like it was done by a 5 year old, That I payed a good hunk of money for! The lady just said here it is and this what you owe. No customer service on her end at all. She then was suppose to have gene yet again call me.......... that never happened. 12 times I tried to call and go in to talk to Gene not one time did he return my call. After all the technicians said I will have gene call you! Man what a good owner
Months later......
Now I go in yet again Today to pick up the same ring that the prong is bent that's why I dropped it off. They didn't even fix the bent prong! But hell its guaranteed!!! I said yah that's what you say and last time you made me pay for a new diamond!!! I will for now on take my business elsewhere.!! Oh and to top it off they said the diamond was tight in the setting I took it to another jeweler and it wasn t tight in the setting at all. This business inky sales rings and DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR WORD!

Save yourself the hassle and to go a well one company. Had a ring for one year and had 3 issues with it. Unless you buy a Diamond there is no warranty. And their buy back service is like selling video games to game stop - you get shafted. We are switching to Shane Co. same prices but they are well known and their locations are much more convenient and their warranty plans are much better.

I bought my engagement ring from them several months ago. So far it has had 5 diamonds fall out in as many months. I ve taken it in every time one has fallen out and they fix it and assure me that it is fixed...until another falls out. In their defense they have always fixed the problem. I understand that a diamond may fall out, that s not the issue, the issue is that it has been in there 4 times (2diamonds were gone one time it was in for repair) and it continued to have problems, you would think they could have fixed it correctly one of those times.
Update: The last time it was in for service it was agreed the ring needed remade. They agreed and provided a replacement ring free of charge and were good to work with on it, including allowing us to participate and watch in the setting of the center stone.
We have been and purchased from Needham Jewelry now several times. We have found the staff attentive and patient, willing to show products and answer all of our questions. Most of our purchases have been made with Taylor Hansen. He is knowledgeable, kind and customer oriented. If we ve had concerns or problems he has addressed them courteously and in a timely manner. Any future jewelry purchases will be done with Needham s.

I'd like to first emphasize that S.E. Needham Jewelers did amazing at building a ring that I had designed. It required a rare and specific gem that they were able to find in a timely manner, and the results looked absolutely incredible. I paid for the ring up front and closed the deal with no problems.
A few months down the line, I needed to liquidate some of my assets and decided to see how much the rig would be appraised for. I spoke to a great deal of colleagues and other jewelers around the country that gave an appraisal around 25% of the rings original value. Had they been a little bit closer, I would have worked with said jewelers, but had to work with S.E. Needham for the sake of convenience. The appraisal I was given was about 9% of it's original value and the representatives I talked to were less than enthusiastic in negotiating with me.
Later on I would go to find this ring being sold at about 60% of it's original value.
I understand that businesses never wish to re-purchase their merchandise, and that there may have been some animosity for purchasing it upright instead of financing it. However it's not unrealistic to say that our encounters were filled with more contention than should be found in a respectable business. Other customers may be happy with their experience, which is what any establishment should desire, however I will not be going back to this jeweler.
SE Needham is a great business and a great fixture in Logan. I bought a beautiful unique piece of jewelry there 5 years ago, and we stop in to have it cleaned every time we are in Logan. They have friendly and helpful staff, and awesome products.
Broke a pin on my watch band, when putting in battery, then said they would sell me a new cheep one. Won't ever go back. This was on a TAG watch. The also NEVER SAID SORRY FOR BREAKING IT.
Honestly, I went to every ring store in Cache Valley trying to find my wife the perfect ring. She basically picked out the same ring in every store. But we decided to go with SE Needham because their customer service was low pressure but so helpful. Mitchell and Sylvan are the two that helped me and they were awesome. My wife is super happy and they made our experience memorable.
They always do a great job. This is the second ring I have had resized at Needham's. They are friendly and honest. I am glad to live so close to such a great jeweler! I do love this store! My wife and I bought our rings here. We felt they were unique and couldn't find their equal anywhere else. They were very courteous to my wife (girlfriend at the time) and let her see all the options and try all the rings out. They were prompt and professional... Exactly what you'd expect of a jewelry store.
Later in life, we moved to Texas, where my wife ended up losing her wedding band during a campout. I called them up and asked for a remake; which they had not only on file but actually had a band in stock... It had been 3 years since we bought the ring... And you know how styles come and go... Needless to say, I was very pleased with the experience. I may still reside in Texas, but every time I come back to Logan I always make sure to drop in and say "Hello".

We went in with some ideas for a custom design and they were very helpful in giving us the finished design that we wanted. It took many iterations and through each iteration they were happy to continually make changes until we were happy. Ultimately our design turned out great!

I wanted to get a wedding band and he helped me get one custom made that fit with the engagement ring perfectly. I also wanted to change the stone I already had in the ring and Taylor was able to make that happen. I also ended up going back later to get the engagement ring resized. They got everything done very quickly and were completely hassle free, even though we were getting a lot done. The prices were awesome, the service was excellent, and the experience was perfect! I graduated from college many years ago and at that time bought a graduation ring as it was a big deal for me. Unfortunately over time I gained a little weight and my ring was too tight. For years I thought I couldn t do anything as the warranty expired and I have heard horror stories of people sending off their ring to get sized and something happens to it. I had gone into Needhams to have them replace a watch battery and asked them about my college ring. I brought it in for them to look at and they assured me it would be no problem to resize it. I have to say they did a fantastic job and even saved the inscription on the inside of the ring. It fits perfect and am more than pleased at their work. You can t even tell anything was done to it. I highly recommend Needham for all your jewelry needs! You will be treated like family!

We originally went to Tresor Jewelers in Salt Lake City and we had a horrible experience. After 3 years of being married, and only having my wife s ring for about 9 months since we were engaged due to the ring falling apart, we decided to try S.E. Needham. McKayla Gonder and a few other people really did a lot to make sure our experience was better than expectations. It was really easy to make changes to our design and they kept to their timelines. I recommend anyone to go see McKayla for your engagement or wedding rings.
I'm so glad my husband bought my engagement ring here. Since living in Logan, we have moved all over the country. But because of their amazing warranty, we've been able to keep my ring under warranty by taking it into any reputable jeweler for regular cleanings every few months. This has been so valuable because whenever my ring has lost a tiny diamond, I've just been able to mail it to S.E. Needham's for free repairs. I save any other jewelry repairs for when I visit Logan because I know they'll do an excellent honest job. Keep the amazing warranty in mind when price matching elsewhere as you won't find another one out there like it!

I'm rating this for a watch battery replacement. You can pay more at a retail outlet, but why not go to a place that likely knows much more about watches. I looked at rings, but like every jewelry store, they have a high markup.

I just had my ring redesigned by SE Needham jewelers and they did a fantastic job. Redesigning a wedding ring can be a nerve wracking experience and they were so patient with me as I went back and forth with my decision making during the proccess. I thought that the sales people at S.E. Needham did an excellent job at explaining everything and really giving us the choice to choose the ring that we wanted. We even selected the diamond that fit us best.
I was not to impressed with the man's band though. It is made out of titanium but got scratched up pretty bad after only several days of wearing it and I wasn't even doing anything rough with my hands. I thought that titanium was one of the hardest metals on earth? They failed to mention anything about it getting scratched SUPER fast and I wouldn't have gone with this band if I knew that was going to happen.
I had some old jewelry on consignment here with Mary and Karissa and they gave me a fair deal and also helped to preserve the history of some antique and vintage peices in my collection I was unaware of.

When I was dating my now husband, one of our dates was to walk main street. We had talked a little about marriage but it wasn't definite yet so we didn't plan on going into any jewelry stores on our Logan main street tour. However, when we walked past the S.E. Needham Jewelers I tarried at the beautiful ring display. A kind employee noticed me peeking through the window and they came outside to warmly invited us in. After an hour of exploring the beautiful rings I found the perfect one! and I didn't even feel bad about choosing it because it fit perfectly in our budget.
Originally, I had heard about S.E. Needham through a friend. I began browsing with Joe, just enjoying our conversation. I had no idea that he was the owner. He never pushed me to look at anything or to purchase anything, he just shared with me his love for his job and fine jewelry. I had my wife's ring customized and cast, but upon receiving the ring we had two of the diamonds fall out within a couple days. Twenty-four hours after repairing the ring, another diamond fell out. Joe took it upon himself, late one evening, to recast the ring and reset the diamonds himself. Once we received the ring, we were thrilled because it was absolutely gorgeous. After 6 months we have not had any problems with our ring. S.E. Needham Jewelers believes in quality, not quantity, while still helping the poor USU student fulfill his dreams. Thank you.
I was referred to S.E. Needhams by many people and they did not disappoint. Taylor helped me design an engagement ring with a slightly difficult stone to find as the centerpiece. We thought we had a great experience when we first bought our ring but it only went downhill from there, I will never buy from Needams again. We purchased my ring on a pretty good sale and decided to get a custom band and to have the ring resized, we were told it would be ready in one week. The day it was suppose to be finished I called to see and was told it would be done early afternoon, when I called then again and they said it would be a couple more hours. When the couple hours were up I decided to just go in because I was leaving town that night and learned they had done absolutely nothing to it. They had molded the band and when I asked the cost it was around a grand and when I said we couldn t afford it and didn t want something that flashy the man I spoke with said, Well we practically gave you the ring. As if that was to justify the cost so they could compensate themselves. I told him we didn t want it and was able to squeeze the ring on and left.
When we purchased our ring we also paid the $50 for a giveaway to a cruise/trip which I m 99% sure was fraud. Once when we called we spoke with a very creepy man, the second time a woman and when we sent the information it was returned to us since the business did not exist where they said they did so we never got to use it.
The final straw was resizing the ring. Since they didn t do it at purchase I had called a few months later and they stated they were backed up for months so I decided to try another time. The next time was wary this year before we moved. I went in and spoke with the man, when we purchased our ring in 2016 we were told that the first ring size would be free, however he stated we would only receive 50% off and quoted around $30-$40. We couldn t do it right then as we were moving and expecting a baby so we put it off again. The last time I went in was in July of this year, the woman again stated that the 1st resize was free only up to the wedding. When I stated we purchased it after my wedding she said, Well you only have a week or two from your purchase it. She then went on to quote around $70 this time. We decided to bite the bullet so I could wear my ring again.
Long story short, they had a great sale but their customer service sucks. Not once were we apologized to saying sorry they told you wrong or our policy has changed. Very disappointed with them and regret that we have to keep going back to them to get it cleaned which is 4 hours away.
Oh another one. Once when we took it to get it cleaned I noticed one of the prongs was crooked and the diamond was a little loose, the lady said it was fine and cleaned it quick. Well the next day my main diamond was spinning in the prongs so we took it back and they decided to actually fix it this time. So I don t have great confidence in their repair work either and it was rather poor quality as my ring looked like it had gotten beat up when they finished with it.
I'd highly recommend S.E. Needhams to anyone looking for a ring. The staff was fantastic and really knew their stuff. Taylor helped me with all the questions and concerns I had, and helped walk me through the whole process
