We got my wedding ring at Needham's a year ago, and the service was excellent. The salesman that helped us wasn't pushy at all. We ended up with a beautiful ring that we both loved and could afford!

The staff are extremely knowledgeable. Clearly, having their own goldsmith helps them a ton. They were very kind and sociable. I did a custom ring, and it turned out perfectly. They re-sized it for free, and when I told them that the box that the ring came in was too big for my proposal plans, they gave me another, smaller box for free. Really, though, the way they kept my business was their knowledge of ring materials. My fiance is allergic to metal, so they helped me make the perfect ring for her needs. It was everything she ever wanted from a ring.

Between Sylvan and Taylor the service was on point. Girl loves the ring so that's what counts!

S.E. Needham Jewelers allowed for a great ring-shopping experience when my wife and I were ready to get engaged. My favorite part about S.E. Needham was the ability to bring any ring concept to their designer, who turned our concept into a reality. We really felt that we got a great quality product for a great price.

The level of customer service was amazing. They were able to get us a ring for an awesome price, with no pressure at all. They gave information freely and were excited to see us each time we came in. Took three rings in to be detatched from each other and instantly had a bad experiance from the moment I walked in. No one greeted me or offered to help. I had to interrupt 3 gossiping employees to ask for help.
The young man who helped me was very... Rude. He acted as though I was below him and told me there was a ton of work that needed to be done to my rings, which I knew was not true. When I asked him if he could tell me information on my rings so I could sell them(like the cut of the diamond, weight, size, value, etc) he said there would be a $90 charge for that information. Keep in mind, all this information had to be dragged out of him and was given to me with an incredibly rude attitude.
I left feeling very angry that I, a potential paying customer, had been treated like I was lower than dirt. Never EVER going there again it
or recommending them to anyone. I ended up going to Jerrick's and was SO pleased with my experience there.

Staff was very friendly and educated! Took all the time we needed to answer all of our questions and truly went above and beyond. We left feeling very great about our experience! Talk to Chad!

Shopping at SE Needham was a very good experience. From the first time my fiancee and I walked in, it was always enjoyable to be there. We worked with Taylor and he was very knowledgeable and informative. He was not pushy and was very patient as we looked at rings many times. I finally decided on a custom ring which they finished making and had ready for me before I expected it. I would recommend SE Needham to any engaged couple. I'm sure they're all good, but ask for Taylor.

I got my original ring custom made at S.E. Needhams 10 years ago and my husband surprised me with 2 side bands making it to wode and needing it to be resized. When looking around i decided to drive the hour back up to Logan because of price and because i loved the initial work and quality that my ring had. They were able to size my ring and when there were a few things that looked off after the resizing they took it back and made it look absolutely perfect. I love that they arent a big name business and that they care about their customers and their quality of workmanship.

The team in the office are super willing to help, but for watch repairs don't use them. The work they did only lasted a week, and when I took the watch back in to have them fix it, they quoted me double what the part costs to fix it, on top of the over charged fix.

Taylor Hansen did a great job at helping me find the diamond that I wanted and was within my budget! He was conscientious of my needs and wants throughout the process. He was honest and didn't pressure me. For me these two factors were huge! Also they have great perks too!

Very helpful customers willing to make you happy. Will spend all the time you need to make your decision on your purchase.

I would recommend this Jeweler to all of my friends! They have honest prices and are willing to work around any budget. Their selection of engagement rings are spectacular followed by friendly service! Two thumbs up!

SE Needham is the most fantastic jewelry store in the country. I decided to buy an engagement ring here when I was working in DC and Sylvan did everything he could to make it a smooth buy. When I came home, my custom ring was ready to go, More

They always take great care of us when we go in. The clean and dip my wife's ring and make it look new again. The are fast too.

One of my wife's very favorite places. It gets 4 stars from me just because it makes her so happy to shop there.

The service was great! Susie Swan is great at helping you find what you need within your budget. I was able to get just what I needed fairly quickly and with no difficulty.

I am so happy we got my ring at Needham's. I have had it for 6 years and they have taken such good care of us every time we come in. Whether we come in for a regular cleaning or something needs fixed they always take great care and provide all the information I need to feel confident in their work.

My wife and I both got our wedding rings here and have purchased a couple other jewelry items here since then. The service has always been stellar and the jewelry is high quality. They take great care of their customers. We even get our rings cleaned professionally for free twice a year.

Edit: since my original review, I've had a few more experiences with Needham's. Here are some observations:

If you're buying a diamond ring, SHOP ONLINE! While the service people at Needham's are very nice, they are VERY out of touch with the industry. The best price they had in store on a diamond was TRIPLE what I found online for the equivalent grading, and had worse inclusions, despite being the same grade. I recommend blue Nile or James Allen instead.

Same for settings. They're outrageously overpriced. They will order in diamonds at market price if you ask them to, but why ask them to, when you can do the same thing yourself?

They also say you get a 'free tungsten men's band' with any engagement ring purchase. FYI: those same rings are $30 on Amazon. They use that to swindle gullible students. Free resizing? Also offered by online servicers. James Allen offers resizing and servicing at any Jared's in the country.

To sum up: there's really no reason to pay 3x as much at Needham's for an inferior quality diamond. The best thing you can do in ring shopping is get educated on diamond grading and settings online, and then buy online from a reputable seller.

Also, concerning my original review: changing batteries and straps/bands is not 'servicing' a watch. Any numbskull can change a battery. If you can't adjust the timing on or demagnetize an automatic movement, you can't service a watch.

Watches ARE NOT repaired in store. They ship off to a guy in SLC. They do not actually service watches.

Large selection, including some cool vintage options. Service was good, and they offered solutions for all our jewelery problems!

Went to Jared's and Morgan's to compare prices, but SE Needham's prices and selection was better, and I felt like the customer service was super friendly and not pushy whatsoever. They even gave me a free dinner at Firehouse to go with the ring! Mitchell and Sylvan both did a great job!

These guys were awesome! I got my wife a mother's ring for Christmas this year. Customization was amazing, quick, and fairly priced! Sylvan was awesome and texted me updates weekly about where the ring was in the process! Highly recommend!

I love every piece of jewelry I have ever gotten here. The service is the great. I will continue shop here for every jewelry item I buy in the future. Needham s is the best!

The customer service was fantastic! Their knowledge of the diamonds they sold far surpassed the competition. I was thoroughly surprised when they offered a price match to a ring from competing jeweler. The quality of the ring they gave me far exceeded my expectations and when I compared the rings side by side S.E. Needham's work won hands down. I would go back if i need anything jewelery related.

I needed help with a battery exchange in my watch. A lovely lady named Suzette came to the rescue.

It took her only a couple minutes and she had my watch working flawlessly.

She worked with skilled precision and finesse ensuring a timely delivery and not to scratch or cause damage to my cherished time piece.

I am both very impressed by and grateful for her.

Very disappointed in our experience with SE Needham. Because of how we were treated we will never buy any jewelry from them. I was constantly pressured to get platinum instead of white gold (even after explicitly saying I wasn't interested in it). I was talked down to and made to feel stupid because I did my research online and compared at multiple stores. It was clear from the very beginning that we were walking dollar signs. All they cared about was how much money I was going to spend. The rings I was looking at were in the $7000-$9000 range so of course I was going to do my research, and rather than answering my questions and helping me find the ring we wanted the associate was visibly annoyed at my questions and the fact that I wasn't a quick sale. He also spent more time talking poorly of another jewelry store rather than helping me. As a customer (ready to spend thousands of dollars) I did not appreciate being disrespected, talked down to, and made to feel stupid. I genuinely felt bullied into buying a ring we didn't want because it was more expensive. Our experience may have been unique to the associate we worked with but he treated us so poorly that we won't risk being treated like that again. Both my (future) wife and I will not be returning to SE Needham.

SE Needham restrung an important family pearl necklace for us and did a great job restoring it. The clasp was broken and it was no longer wearable. We considered just selling the pearls, not knowing it was fixable. When we stopped by to see if they were interested in the pearls, they said fixing would be no problem. And that they actually do it all the time. We even picked them up when they said it would be done.

They had a great and unique selection of rings! Their prices are reasonable and the lifetime benefits are amazing. Their sales associate knew what kind of diamond we were shooting for and helped us to get the one we wanted. 5 stars!

It was a great experience. They had a large selection of rings and were really helpful. This was my first time looking at rings and Gene helped me through the whole process. I didn t feel like i was being ripped off or that they were trying to up sell a ring or anything. I was able to find something within my budget that is beautiful !!

These are without doubt the best jewlers in Logan. Bit more expensive but you get what you pay for!

I had much higher hopes of doing business here. Salesperson asked if I was a return customer when asking about pricing an item, I said no. I then asked about wiggle room on price and was told it was whatever it is marked at. So return customers get a deal but anyone off the street pays sticker. How will you earn my business without giving the best price initially. Quite the conundrum. Very disappointed as I like to keep money local whenever possible.

Very welcoming and helpful throughout our experience. It was a very personable team that had our best interest in mind. The only thing that I thought a little strange was the term "Utah standard time", but that's fine. Loved the overall help.

Went in there yesterday to get the battery in my watch replaced and the kid (obviously still in training) that replaced my battery came back to hand me the watch with the back cover only half way in. I asked him to get it placed in correctly only to find out that he had totally dented the back cover. But of course he insisted that was there from before.
Do yourself a favor, if you happen to go in there make sure someone with a few years of experience does the work.

I have been a customer at SE Needhams for many years and will continue to shop there. My recent purchase there was an engagement ring.

My price range for the ring was on the low end, and I'm sure the person showing us rings was on commission. However he did a poor job mostly showing us rings outside of our price range.

We later found a ring in our price range which we bought and are happy with. To find this ring we had to ask someone else to specifically show us that ring.

In my years as a customer at SE Needhams I have been happy with their service. However I was disappointed with the salesperson for my most recent purchase.

I have purchased several watches and pieces of jewelry at the store in the past, but they charged me $7 to change a watch band that took 5 min! I'll think twice about going back

I was waited on promptly and all my questions were answered. Very pleasant experience.

They listened to our needs well, they weren't pushy and they have the best variety of rings, for men and women, that I've seen in Logan. Combined with the customer service and guaranteed services with my purchase makes this the best deal in Logan. They take care of you there and the environment is professional and not intimidating. I have dealt with SE Needham for several years and have felt like they always went above and beyond. But within the last 6 months they have really dropped the ball. I went in a few months ago and spoke with Travis and he was going above and beyond to really help me out and it was a good experience. They even evaluated a ring I had and gave me a price quote on it. I was looking forward to have a custom ring designed by them and things were going great. Now fast forward to now. I gave them a $100 deposit to make a CAD drawing of the custom ring and since then I haven t heard anything from them. So I called in and asked for Travis and I got the response ohh he s busy right now on lunch but he will call you back by the end of the day . I then waited for the end of the day and BAM nothing no response from him. So I called again a few days later and spoke with Jesse and she was at least messaging me on their app and she was leading me in some sort of direction. However, she did say that she didn t really know how to help because she didn t work with the rings specifically. So she then said she would have Travis call me and help me out. Since then Travis has told me that the evaluation came in $1,000 less than what they first told me and he has not returned any phone calls or followed through with anything he has said he would do.

Every time I have been in there they have been very helpful.

I had my engagement ring custom made by the excellent craftsmen at S.E. Neeham Jewelers over 11 years ago and I am still amazed at the wonderful work they did. You cannot find another jeweler in Utah who can make custom pieces and offer a full guarantee of satisfaction. They were wonderful to work with and made sure they understood exactly what I wanted. I love knowing that I have a ring that no one else has and this is something that you can only experience at S.E. Neeham's. I love coming in to get my rings cleaned and inspected, something that is included for free with your purchase. My husband has since bought me a beautiful diamond right hand ring and a diamond necklace.

Loved it. Especially Krista. She is a joy to work with and shares your enthusiasm every time you come in.

Sometime around 2002, I'd asked my husband for a necklace with three pearls. The day before our anniversary, he thought about a gift. He visited Needham's and told the sales lady about my request. She paused and said, "I'm glad you asked me, as we just received some new items that I think will fit the bill." They hadn't been unpacked yet. I still wear and love my little 3-pearl necklace.
Story 2: In 2014 I visited the store, and a capable salesman, Logan, helped me to buy what I call my "big girl watch." Having usually worn reliable but rather uninteresting $30 Timex watches, I wanted to purchase something more elegant. He steered me to the right display case and helped me to choose exactly the right watch.
Later, in 2015, my mom had died, and I decided I'd like to get her engagement diamond re-set for me. While the 1947 setting was beautiful (platinum), I wanted something more streamlined so I wouldn't get it caught on things all the time. Logan to the rescue! He talked with me, and we looked together at a ring that I liked in a catalog. He did an excellent job following up to invite me to visit the store and examine the proposed new setting. I stopped in right before Christmas and was pleased and thrilled to find the ring was ready to go. Thank you, Needham's!

We wanted pretty unique wedding rings. We were amazed by both the quality of hand crafted personalized rings we received and the amazingly low price for such excellent craftsmanship. SE Needham was the best choice I could have made to purchase a wedding ring.

Unfortunately my experience with SE Neeham has been very negative. I custom made my wife s ring, and initially they got the ring to me about a month later than originally planned. When I finally got the ring, the jeweler had messed up and made the ring into a size 6.75 instead of the size 4.5 that my wife s finger is. They decided to resize the ring, even though it was such a drastic change, And now because of that resizing several of the side diamonds on my wife s ring have fallen off. I was informed that my ring would have a warranty as long as I did all the work through SE Needham jewelers. What they didn t inform me what is that this warranty is only valid if you buy a real diamond on the ring. Due to our current life situation my wife and I have decided to go with a moisenite stone, meaning that the warranty was not valid. Of course, thy didn t tell me this until after the fact. Now, they won t do anything to fix the ring, saying that any sizing changes can compromise the integrity of diamonds, even though they admitted that they messed up with the original sizing. I am disappointed to see yet another business more worried about their paycheck than doing what is right. I would not recommend going here to anyone.

I went to Needham's to buy an engagement ring. From the beginning the customer service was excellent. Our finances were discussed and I did not feel pressured at all to go over my budget. In fact, at one point the associate with whom I was working called me and told me that he had found a different diamond that fit better with my budget and was of a similar quality. I submitted multiple images of rings that I liked to them and they drew up computer animated designs to show me what they could make. In the end I was very satisfied with the ring and the price was more than reasonable.

The ring did take a while longer to finish than I had expected (I suppose this is normal for customized rings). This was not an issue for me, but I would plan a month or two in advance if you need it by a specific date. I also order a wedding band through them and it was ready a few weeks after the engagement ring. I received an automated text from them telling me it was finished, but after I had made the trip to pick it up I was told that the text was sent on accident and it wasn't ready. Once again, not a big deal, but I would call in to make sure. When the ring was finally done I picked it up and took it home before I realized that a few of the diamonds had not been set in the ring. I took it back and reparations were made, it was just a little frustrating that it was the second time I was told it was ready when it wasn't.

I would recommend them and I'm sure that not all experiences are like mine. They were very professional and helpful overall.

I love my new personally designed ring I just purchased!! I will never go to another jeweler, they are super helpful and make sure they creat the perfect ring for you. I also got my wedding ring from them 10 years ago and I am still in love with it!

I recommend getting your ring from S.E. Needham's they have a great selection of rings and good prices. I had my wife's custom made there, and she loves it, they are good at keeping it in your price range and have great ideas if your a little stuck on what you want. S.E. Needham Jewelers has been so amazing to work with. They had a very large choice of engagement rings to choose from and when we found the perfect one they were able to modify it exactly the way we needed it as well as sizing it, and it was done so quickly. I spent a couple weeks looking for a diamond ring to propose. Well I spent the first week and a half designing a ring and eventually not liking any of the designs I chose. The staff were very patient with me and helped me every step of the way. I ended up just buying a ring that they were selling and the price was great. They also do price matching which helped me a lot. I am going back to get some more jewelry. At this point because of their customer service I don't know if I would go anywhere else. S.E. Needham did a wonderful job helping me (i.e. doing all the design work while I showed them pictures and they made multiple amazing cad mock ups) custom make my wife's edwardian styled engagement ring. Every member of their staff was highly knowledgeable and helpful especially Taylor who went above and beyond when we realized the order slip for the matching wedding band had not been entered and we were less than a month to our wedding. Their workmanship and customer service exceed expectations and their custom services are comparable in price to generic mass produced settings available elsewhere.

Bought an engagement ring here for a reasonable price, and my wife loves it. After about 9 months of being married, the ring was lost, center diamond and all. Went and talked to Mr. Needham and he replaced the ring for us less than a month later after they were able to find a diamond closely resembling the lost one. This is a service free with the ring, and what a lifesaver it was. If I ever find the lost ring, I'll be happy to return it to them because of how easy and simple they made it, I'll probably never buy expensive jewelry anywhere else!

I dealt with both Lars and Joe (the goldsmith) when getting my fiancee's ring. I was never pressured into a ring, or pushed one way or another. At the end of the day, the team just wanted us to be happy and to get what we needed.

That really says all that it needs. They are more concerned about the relationship rather than the money they may be getting, and that will drive more of my business as well as those that I know, to them. We talked about what was important, what they could do and how long it would take to get the ring that we wanted.

Once we decided on the ring, they were very fast at getting it made and sent out to me. I was communicated with the entire time. When the ring came, those that I showed it to were amazed by the ring, and when it came time for me to propose, my fiancee was shaking.

I wasn't helped for at least five minutes after walking in and the worker didn't try at all to find what I was looking for. He said, "I don't think we have any like that" and showed me some super expensive options.

I was able to purchase my ring from a variety of clear, beautiful options. The pricing was suited to my budget and I didn't spend more than I wanted to. She loves the ring.

Very pleasant experience. Worked with Krista on a custom wedding ring and band. Very knowledgeable on gems and the jeweler's speed on finishing the ring was much quicker than expected. Definitely a jeweler that takes pride in their work and they give a strong impression of truly caring about their customers. Highly recommend them and will buy from them again.

The good, then the bad.

The good:
The rings themselves seem to be high quality. They are genuinely what they claim to be, and there are options for customization and changes. They provide some chocolate treats on the side to snack on while browsing rings.

The bad:


Furthermore, SE Needham claims, in its advertising, that they provide great quality (which they do), at internet pricing (which they certainly Do Not!)... the Pricing was more expensive than Morgan Jewlers, and was far, far more expensive than internet pricing.

Ultimately, if you have a more expensive taste, go to SE Needham's, expect to spend a lot, but no simplicity. You will also get chocolate.
I personally highly recommend Morgan Jewlers, simply for the genuine care for the customer, ring quality that exceeds the price, and a large variety of rings. They'll keep you feeling like they care about you.
