I stayed at hotel Rus from Sunday September 30th until October 4th.I received a warm welcome and check in and out was fast.The staff was very friendly and spoke good english.The free breakfast was fantastic,and the food in general was very good.The hotel was in good walking distance of Independence square and Gulliver's mall.The room was cozy and nice.The hotel offers many amenities including money exchange which is open 24 hours.Hotel Rus made my first stay in the Ukraine quite pleasant and was reasonably priced.I will definitely rebook with them when I come back.Thank You

The cost of living is high - and there is no need to motivate the location, as there are hotels and mini-hotels in the very center and at a more pleasant price; baths ... a separate topic ... reminds of baths in ordinary apartments. Please install shower cabins as many have already done, because perhaps some elderly people find it difficult to get in and out

I contacted the hotel online chat before booking and I asked what is the difference between the regular suite and the premium suite, the operator answered me that the premium suite is more luxurious in designing furniture, I said wow, $ 108 per night, let's try,.
After I entered the luxury premium suite " I think they do not know the meaning of luxury.
However, the value of thehotel payment is too high for what it is really worth, I believe like $ 50 a night for a luxury suite will be more than enough. I recommend not to believe all the photos and descriptions of this hotel.

Everything was good, service, food, room. There are a couple of moments, but not critical. 1. I visited the room every day and outweighed a personal towel (here the problem was that they touched a personal towel) 2. I would advise you to give disposable slippers to each room, it s not so expensive for hotels of this level, it s practical (there s everywhere on the floors, but rooms carpet) and this adds a plus to the hotel.

A wonderful place. Perfect location in the city center that allows you to visit all the beautiful squares and churches around. Guys at reseption are all fantastic and they do their job well. I will certainly come back again

The hotel was built in the Soviet era but has since changed noticeably. All rooms are renovated and aligned with European standards. Often take big sporting events. It was host hotels for Euro 2012. It was also the main hotel for the European Ice Hockey Championship.
