Do not go to their atm it ripped me out of 80 bucks it never despensed it the cash and even though I kept my receipts that started communication failure from the machine they still refuse to give me my money.. I will be contacting a lawyer
Great live band (Sensation Band). Good food, comes to you quick. Bathrooms not well kept. The party never ends here.
Fantastic band and delicious food, entertaining atmosphere
I went here for the music so I can't really comment on the food. The beer and desserts were good. Good selection of beers on tap and in bottles. Fun staff. Tues night band, Gracie Curran and the High Falutin' band were very talented and put on a fun show. Some of the musicians we're outstanding. Only a $3 cover to hear an amazing band.
Pretty good place. Great atmosphere, only okay food.
This place has great music and a wounderful atmosphere and the bartender alex was so amazing and she will be the reason me and my buddys return
Engaging atmosphere, quick and amiable wait staff, and incredibly delightful food. The BBQ sandwich is exquisite!
Eric Hughes Band was great. Incredible musicians and kept the crowd into it.
The music and atmosphere were fantastic. But oh dear, no word except thief to mention the bouncer. MAKE SURE to get the blue wristband once paid the cover.
Yea, I m out of town and look foreign but please don t say that we did not pay when we gave you cash (and that change was not even given, yea $1 was no big deal but bad omen) nor that we cannot get back in when we put one foot out of the door but changed our minds despite the late hour since the music was so good. Glad that the musician and singer will be what the family will remember.
The people were friendly. The customers around me seemed happy with their food. The drinks were good. The music was GREAT, and that's the reason I was there in the first place. I'd go back nightly if I lived in the area.
"Great space for people watching and nice service " but the Food...not so much !!!
HORRIBLE service. After waiting more than 10 minutes for service, we stopped someone who told us we could not sit where we were sitting. That's the only person who even bothered to stop by our table (okay, we actually stopped her) and after passing by several times she finally decided we could not be there. THEN... we went back about an hour later and a group was being served at the table we were made to leave!! Wow. Cannot say enough bad about this place. DO NOT GO!!!!
Great service! Nightly live music. Happy hour drink specials. Highly recommend!
Great place. Freeworld was keeping the joint hoping. Food and drinks were good. Would recommend.
Fun place with great live music and incredible authentic decor!
It was a Friday night down on Beale street in my group stopped in. Not sure who's a band was that night but they will really really good and kept us entertained during the whole visit. They fill up pretty quickly and get crowded but they do have an up stairs area available as well. The only downfall was that they close the kitchen kind of early so if you're hungry best to eat before you get there if you are going at night.
Decor is pretty good with guitars and live music. Thats it.
Its sooo expensive. I was was only drinking the local ales and my wife was on JD. Bill came to over 100 USD. (No shots, no Jagers etc) We had a snack which were the nachos. They were awful. So avoid the nachos and ask the prices first.
GREAT MUSIC! Food is good. Basic southern cuisine. Different bands and all are great. Friday and Saturday from 4 to 7 is a male female combo. Been doing it for 25 years. AWESOME! Guitars hanging from ceiling from artists that have performed. Very cool!
Ok, my wait was super long today and this was my first time eating here!! Luckily my waitress wouldn't let me leave without eating!! TK(waitress) saved the day and my food was delicious!! The cook deserves a hug as well!! I will definitely return!!
Great place. Good food and about 200 signed celebrity guitars handing from the ceiling. Be sure to eat here if your visiting the area!
Try it and see for yourself. It has survived on the corner forever. Vince Johnson performing true Chicago blues with some of Memphis' finest musicians ... can't say anymore,
Loved all the history in the space, check out the Isaac Hayes cape on the wall. The music was phenomenal! Bar service was underwhelming but the atmosphere makes up for that.
We had such a good time! Great music and service. Good vibes! Gotta go back.
Worth listening to music here. Service with a smile on this lady is more valuable.
It is worth listening to live here. However, I also go to receive the service of this woman who works with smile.
Absolutely love Rum Boogie s! We have see you go here 2-3 times a year for our quick getaway s from St. Louis. I haven t been there in 20 years and I m glad to say it hasn t changed a bit! Great food. Great bands. A wonderful way to spend a few hours eating, singing and dancing!
WOW... the live music we were lucky enough to hear last night was truly amazing! The smoked bbq wings w their dry rub also knocked our socks off. Waitresses are sassy in a good way but super nice and helpful. We had such a great time!
Even with limited covid menu there were plenty of options. Service was super friendly (MATT). Food was so good. Will be eating here again very soon
Jumping place on Beale. Use the door covered with dollar bills to get into the Blues Hall next door where the music tends to be better. Drinks are a little cheaper in Rum Boogie
Amazing food, great service, and alot of history. Had a great time!
Our staff party here was amazing and that bartenders and staff were so accommodating! What a great time! Thanks Rum Boogie
I had the 1/3# Rum Boogie Burger. It couldn't have been better. However, it's Saturday evening on Beale Street. 3 servers simply is not acceptable! I spent too much time searching for my server! Either find a better way to split the server sections, or call someone in.
I loved the atmosphere here, there was a live blues band playing, and it was awesome. Food and drinks are avarage
Great music, great food and great people. The Cajun sampler was excellent and the staff was outstanding. had an amazing early lunch here and saw everybody's guitar you could imagine.
Great food, great drinks, great staff. We sat on the patio and watched the street performers. Definitely would visit again.
The bar atmosphere was ok, but the music on the night i went was outstanding. The band performing was I think Southern Ave? The drinks were cool.
Should have taken a picture of our tiny $18 plate of 2 catfish pieces(tasted good), slaw that tasted soured. $6 cover per person, then an expensive menu. Won t be back. Only thing I can say is music was good.
Music and atmosphere were A+, Food was good but nothing special, but if you like gumbo, definitely order the gator gumbo
Prices posted online are WAY lower than the prices you see in person. Like, 75% higher when you get there. However, the staff is extremely friendly and the food is good. I really enjoyed the fried pickles and wings.
Order an appetizer platter. It took forever. When it came out most everything was good. The fried pickles however where crispy and not edible. We told the manager and hoped he would take a few bucks off. We were done with what we enjoyed on the platter and thought we would take the good stuff home. The manager said he would take the whole thing off the check and clear the food off the table which was fine with us. I thought it was more than fair. We ate our fill and didn t have to pay, it was very generous. So much so, we ordered two more drinks to walk around with. My wife had a fruity mixed drink which was really good.
The entertainment here is also really good. The second best place we found on Beale. We didn t mind paying the $5 cover charge.
We were in the Blues Hall bar room and it was awesome. Sensational band, fun crowd, responsive bartender, and atmosphere for miles.
Terrible. Our waitress was rude and our food was terrible. The hostess outside was the only good thing about our experience.
Hortibly slow, food was average (not impressive) Not at all what eas advertised
Loved the live band. The fish was good but the chicken sandwich was not. The food was way too expensive. My family and I had a good time but we'll go somewhere else next time.
Excellent live music & friendly staff! My wife & I had a great time!
It was really good food and the deco was pretty cool, a ton of guitars hanging around!!!
Horrible service. Sat at a table with no sign, was told we had to move. Walk by 20 minutes later and people sitting at same table with drinks in their hands. Waste of time
Great music and BBQ. The blue guitar player I heard when I was here went on to compete on The Voice.
Guitars, hundred of them, hang from the ceiling. Fun atmosphere. Barbecue pulled pork sandwich could be "pulled" into smaller chunks.
Food was ok, drinks were good, live music was good, prices...not so much. The drink prices were as expected, the food prices were high, maybe average for beale street, but not a value in any sense.
Overall food was good, limited menu due to covid, service was good., and a bit over-priced. The bathroom could use cleaning, unfortunately I won't be back for seconds.
First time visiting, they had a live band that was jammin!! The sax player was smoking cigarettes and playing at the same time. Very fun atmosphere! Drinks were good!!
