Our 4th visit to this quality well maintained independent which has rightly been hotel of the year on a number of occasions. Staff always seem to care and be friendly - not just because their training tells them to but it comes across they want to. Still haven't found a UK hotel to beat Rudding for all round experience.
What a beautiful hotel, all the decor is gorgeous and well looked after. The staff were super helpful and no matter if there was no issue they couldn't do enough for us. The new spa is incredible and the hour Childrens swim times twice a day were excellent and used to the max. The sauna is the best sauce I've been to in this country and rivals those in Austria, we lived the cold water bucket outside. We will be coming back, even my three year old agrees.
Wonderful meal and five star service just because it poured down on our tour of their kitchen garden was hardly their fault. The lady that talked and accompanied us was great anyway.

Came here for a works conference and stayed overnight. It was fabulous. Food, service, accommodation, gym, spa - all top notch. Would highly recommend.

This is a great hotel and spa set in extensive grounds. There is also an 18 hole golf course if you like that sort of thing
Stayed a day and a night at Rudding Park for a wedding in November. Spectacular venue with an on-site historical church that can be used for such services.
The food was delicious. The rooms beautiful. The staff ever so helpful.
Weather here can be mixed in winter but the big open views overlooking the golf course can be enchanting all year round.
Harrogate town is just a short drive away and is well worth a visit in its own right. Especially Betty's!

At the Clocktower - one of the best meals I've ever had. Staggeringly good food. Good service. Pricey, but what you'd expect given the quality. Truly excellent.
I can't speak about the hotel but the golf course is brilliant. The whole site has an heir of prestige about it. The par 3 course is a deceptive challenge and the 18 hole course is a cracking setup and very nice course to play

Rudding Park is a hotel where the little details are covered in a big way. Example, my partner went for dinner at the onsite restaurant Horto. Here they listened to what we liked and gave us suggestions that not only met our requirements but blew us away. Equally when we returned to our rooms, someone had been in and set the beds ready for the night. Perfect hotel.

My husband and I had a wonderful time here celebrating our anniversary. We stayed one night and had access to the roof top spa and had dinner and breakfast included. If you want a place that will make a celebration feel really special then Rudding Park is a great choice. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful, the spa was gorgeous and the food was wonderful. We walked around the grounds after our dinner and enjoyed the beautiful gardens as well as having a lovely chat with one of their gardeners when we were exploring the kitchen garden. I even learned a bit about growing fruit! The facilities in the hotel were all very high quality, comfortable beds, underfloor heating in the bathroom etc. We will definitely be back!

Attended an event last year, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate for my special dietary needs. Was made to feel very welcome and enjoyed the gluten, milk and soya free food and almond milk coffee. Very friendly.

Just been for a lovely roast Sunday dinner. The main was very nice but the starters (Country terrine and beetroot & goats cheese) were exceptional. Staff lovely and attentive without hovering on your shoulder. A very pleasant experience that we will be doing again.

Nice golf course, challenging but not impossible to play. Very good Covid guidance in place and a good bacon sandwich. Plenty of interesting wildlife and a halfway house that was open.

We booked for a last minute get away with my partner and baby. Upon arrival as they said we had been upgraded to an amazing room with steam room in bathroom. The staff were all so courteous, helpful they couldn t do enough for you. From reception, to the restaurant staff to the lady that came up and set the baby crib out. Highly recommend and after staying at many hotels across country we were amazed at how good the staff were. Great job guys. James, Holly and Harper.
Lovely surroundings. Great food, although small menu. Good service. We sat on the terrace as it was a really hot day. Went with a taste card and the discount wasn't correct but didn't realise until we had left.
Amazing setting, fantastic building and newly opened Spa with every facility you can think of. The staff are the most welcoming and helpful people you will find, I cannot fault this place. A real treat.

Before booking this hotel i would recommend you take a look at other hotels and get a comparison for your money. You will find other hotels a lot better than this one.
We had an over night stop in a fantastic room,with an evening meal in the clocktower on the night we arrived and then breakfast on the following morning in the clocktower and both times,the food was great and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Overall from the minute we arrived the staff could not do enough for you from the receptionist to the porter and from the waiters/waitresses to the barstaff etc. We experienced the spa facilities on the day of departure which was a great experience. Definitely would stop again

Went for lunch and booked a table for 1pm. We requested a table outside and this was kindly accommodated. Great setting and once sat down felt relaxed with the measures put in place. Ordered food on their new app and all arrived promptly and was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. T in particular went out of his way to make us comfortable. Decent food and nice pool, unfortunately bath had dirt inside it which wasn't a good first impression of room. Air con also seemed to just blow out cold air. Watch out for the hidden restaurant service charge and optional resort fee charge that get automatically added to the bill (so you have to opt out if you don't want to pay it). Staff are friendly and helpful.
We had the wine fine and stay for free, it was excellent the team at Horto cooked a fantastic dinner. Alex was so knowledgeable regarding the drinks pairing and the dishes are ed up by the chefs were second to none.
To top it all, we had a room upgrade. An absolutely stunning stay. Well done all at Rudding

Visited yesterday for afternoon tea. Disappointing experience. Bread was very spongy/thick - could hardly taste sandwich fillings. We were not offered any tea refills. Conservatory area not relaxing - chairs uncomfortable and far too many More
