Fantastic service, really a great pleasure to stay from the moment you enter reception. Food was first class. Room was beautiful and clean. Highly recommended.

Just stayed here for my birthday. The experience was overall great. The spa is definitely one I will return to. The only thing that really let this place down was the staff. Even if you was lay down on a sofa outside relaxing and reading they would come over shouting and one of them shouted the f word this morning too right next to us. They have no respect at all for guests relaxing. The service at dinner and breakfast was not of 4 star or matching my expectations with the hotel. They didn t introduce themselves, show any interest in us, recommend any dishes etc. I think the service needs to improve 100% as the clientele you are attracting will expect a higher level as they will be used to it.

I took my wife and some friends their for lunch. As it was my wife's 50th birthday, we arrived by helicopter (which was awesome). The hotel had someone there to greet us and who also offered to bring a car round in case we didn't want to walk to the restaurant. It was a nice touch but as it was only a few hundred yards and a nice sunny day we walked.

We were sat outside, which at first seemed good, but we then had to drag our own parasols to the table and put them up (despite asking for this to be done). Meanwhile every table (there were four square tables put together in a long line) wobbled, either because of the feet, or because of the design of the top of the table. Again, we were told someone would look at this, but no-one ever came.

The service was not quick but then we were not in a hurry. Some food arrived without acompanyments. When we mentioned this the extras were brought, but then we were charged for them.



The hotel site and grounds appeared very lovely though. It looks like it would be a nice place to stay.

We stayed for 3 nights on the touring caravan park and had a lovely time. The site is immaculate and very well run there is a shop and a bar. On the saturday there was a barbecue by the pool and a live band. We loved our stay and would definitely visit again

We enjoyed a half day spa experience which was amazingly good. The facilities are out of this world and the staff fantastic. This was my first spa experience and I am now completely hooked.

Try the new spa fantastic, friendly staff nothing too much trouble.

Rudding Park is an immaculate 5* hotel and Spa! I visited with my girlfriend for two nights, we were impressed from the moment we arrived!
The staff made or stay! Every one of them made sure that we were happy at all times. Nothing was to much trouble and they were all polite and extremely professional.
We stayed in the new wing, the room was large and bright. Very high tech with touch screen controls for lights and heat. We had a large HD TV and the bathroom was large with under floor heating and everything else you'd expect.
Food in the clock tower was outstanding! Possibly the best fillet steak I've eaten!
10 mins from Harrogate and very close to Leeds and York it everything you need. We can't wait to visit again when the new pool and Spa open!

Exquisite modern new spa facility with every indulgence, from treatments and pools, to hot tubs and gourmet cafe. Just beautiful. We hung out on the rooftop garden spa area in bathing suits and robes, in and out of sun and pools, for hours.

A traditional British getaway with a modern flair. My girlfriend has gluten and lactose problems and they were able to accommodate us so well.

The food was superb. The wait staff is fantastic, and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable.

Rudding Park is an iconic location in Harrogate. It has all the facilities you would expect from a 5* spa hotel. However, I feel that it is missing something, a sort a fizz. Everything works, but it lacks sharpness. When I next visit, I feel that it will be the same as my last visit and the next visit after that, with no surprises around the corner. Anyway, if you want a nice setting for a special event, then Rudding Park is ideal.

Fantastic hotel. Very relaxing, all the staff helpful. Spa is top class, roof top area is beautiful. Had sample menu at Horto food was outstanding (especially the coconut egg) will definitely be back

Beautiful rooms, amazing spa (probably the best in Yorkshire). The cafe next to the spa was very very expensive for average food. I get you pay for location and just to be there but a smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich with chips was extortionate and nothing special. Average cakes too. In addition, don t be fooled with free drink and snack if doing the spa.. I had about 50mls of flavoured water and some vegetable crisps?? Still worth a visit and still beautiful. But expect it to be pricey.

Absolutely superb experience (paid for by work).
The room was beautiful and comfortable, with excellent facilities.
Food was 100% spot on.
The spa looked good, (though priced itself out for me). I did swim and was very well catered for there.
Great spot for a special occassion.

What can I say, the outside has the wow factor but once inside I was disappointed with the quality & cleanliness of both room & hotel, The staff in the restaurant were attentive but clueless.. The bottle of wine we ordered was brought to us after our starters and the whole meal was on a timer from the moment we sat down, with very little time between courses to digest.. Also the drinks we purchased from bar were rationed, so they had no bearing on what we ordered, as when we order an Aperol Spritz or Cranberry & Soda I would expect to have a hint of taste of both the Aperol and Cranberry, but both were extremely poor. Whilst we didn t have a terrible visit, it was I felt, both the room & dining experience was overpriced & over rated especially as this was not a cheap break!!

Unfortunately I would not recommend the Kitchen Garden Break to anyone..

Only walked the grounds they were absolutely lovely, and the church was beautiful. Visited the holiday park that also was extremely well maintained.

Myself and my friend Emma have been to the spa this afternoon. Nothing was too much trouble and the facilities are fabulous. Thank you to Tori and Chloe for our treatments you were both lovely. Thank you again Sue & Emma.

Quite possibly the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Beautiful building and surroundings, lovely rooms, great food and fantastic staff. Perfect for a relaxing break with your significant other. Will definitely be returning asap.

Our room was excellent, the staff attentive and we enjoyed a lovely swim in the beautiful pool plus a walk in the grounds, finishing with a fantastic meal. A relaxing stay to recharge the batteries

Good quality campsite, clean and well kept - but it costs a bit more.

Terrific venue Staff, food, accommodation excellent. Would have been 5 stars but for the greens on golf course, but understand work has to be done in Spring.

Went to a wedding fayre with my son and his fiance we had a wonderful time. Ridding Park is such an amazing place.

Had a meeting in the clocktower restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely visit again.

The only downside was the bar prices, but how else will they pay all their staff...

My husband had booked a facial. To help me relax. Which didn't happen at Rudding Park. I asked four times for the pressure to be firmer. Which didn't register with the therapist.
I also said at the end of the treatment, I felt she hardly used any products. I had to apply my own moisturiser. Not what I was expecting.

Gorgeous place. Spent our first wedding anniversary here and it was an excellent choice. Highly luxurious and the staff kindly looked after us in room selection which was greatly appreciated.

Visited Rudding Park for a wedding. The venue is beautiful, ample parking and fantastic facilities. The staff were all so very polite and helpful. Had an absolutely fabulous time and would definitely recommend to friends.
