Rudding Park Review

I went to play in the 6 hole short course and it's a brilliant little course.

The service was very good from their service team. However the prices were a lot higher than I though they were worth for rooms. The location is stunning but when enquiring about weddings we did t like the idea of some areas of our spaces being open to the public

What a fantastic golf course excellent staff and great company on the course, brilliant set up and facilities just great, but beware those greens are tough to read

Absolutely stunning hotel, certainty one of the best we have been too. Came here for our 1 year wedding anniversary and were made to feel so special. The roof top spa was incredible and would definitely recommend. It is quite pricey and I do think the food menu is very toppy but it's still very good.

What a fabulous hotel. I loved the decor. Everything you would want.
From the moment we went through the door the staff were attentive. The rooms are spacious.
We dined in the Clocktower Restaurant food was delicious beautifully presented.
I thought they were very well organised and felt very safe in they way they have done things with staff & service in the current climate.
We played the 18 & 6 hole golf courses both challengingly in different ways. My only regret was we had only booked in for one night as would have liked to take advantage of the amazing spa.
Next time will stay longer.

My husband and I were married at Rudding Park on Sunday the 29th December 2019. If you are looking for somewhere to get married then look no further. Rudding Park swepped me off my feet. From the first tour around the venue to how they looked after me on the wedding day, everything has been exceptional. I can not thank the Rudding Park team enough for their excellent service, friendly approach, thoughtfulness, knowledge and understanding of how to make a bride, groom and their guests feel special and cared for. Fantastic hotel, most polite and helpful staff, very quick and efficient service. Very clean and tidy everywhere and the food is excellent.
Just had another visit to take a friend for lunch, each had a three course meal and every course was outstanding. I can t put into words how tasty and beautifully presented the food is.
Just need to add that I love this place so much i chose rudding park as the venue for my wedding.

Can I have some more stars to rate this excellent gem.

The staff are excellent, from booking and making enquiries over the phone right the way to check out, I cannot fault any member of staff we dealt with.

Incredibly attentive, helpful and polite without ever getting intrusive. Everyone we dealt with seemed genuinely interested in making our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
I would go so far as to say the service and staff are the best I have experienced in a British hotel.

The facilities are lovely, everything is clean and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable.

Food was very nice although I wouldn't say it was anything particularly special, but the level of service made dining a pleasant experience.

We also made use of the spa while staying at Rudding Park.
The spa is large and very well maintained, the panoramic sauna and outdoor infinity pool (38 degrees and perfect in the winter) were lovely features.
Treatments were easy to book and we're on par with any other premium spa.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend Rudding Park to anyone looking for a spa break or a place to stay in Harrogate.
While the rooms, views and facilities are on par with a number of other similarly prices hotels in the UK, the staff really are a step ahead and make Rudding Park an excellent choice.

Excellent facilities, excellent staff, very relaxing caters to children as much as those who come without. Bar food is slightly overpriced for fish and chips etc. Service was the best part of the stay here.

Drinks just way too expensive. Not necessary. Spoilt the whole evening.

W came here for an anniversary treat and did the Dine - Sleep - Spa deal. It was fantastic! The hotel itself, the room, the food and the Spa were all superb. The staff really made you feel welcome and were very helpful and polite. They are a great team. The Spa comped is the best we've experienced so far in the UK. Can't recommend it enough.

Incredible hotel, with excellent surroundings and perfect interiors. Staff couldn't be more helpful. The rooms are large and provide Anything you could ask for, while the restaurant serves excellent quality food and bar offers a great range of drinks, or staff will knock you up a cocktail on the spot. The spa is one of the best I've seen, and looks like it will be moving to a new purpose built addition which looks stunning in itself. The gym is small but has everything you could want, and was handily very quiet. Highly recommended!

Attended a wedding there, which was excellent. The chapel itself was perfect, whilst the hospitality, food and location itself couldn't be faulted.

The place is amazing, incredibly well decorated, in a great area with beautiful surrounding countryside with very little to ruin the view. The facilities were bountiful and would be great for corporate events or meetings. It was a shame that there was some work going on at the time, but this was understandable and mostly out of the way.

Everything was perfect. Staff were attentive and helpful. Lovely room and nice atmosphere in restaurant with excellent food. Golf course was good but ground conditions were poor in places. However it is winter so to be expected.
Spa and pool facilities were very good.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had dinner at Horto, the fall menu is fantastic. Murray's cooking is always amazing and the wine pairing matched with every dish. The pumpkin soup on toasted seeds and grains was fantastic.

Stayed overnight and played 2 rounds of golf. Hotel , food and staff first class and could not be faulted . Course great too and challenging . Will definitely be back

Excellent stay with great service, food and fantastic spa

We were invited for a wedding here in September 2017. Amazing venue and the food was great.

Beautiful grounds and facilities. It was like heaven as the sun was shining and the infinity pool shimmered like a mirage. Loved the tropical shower with sounds.

Lovely place, staff very friendly and attentive, definitely recommend it for a weekend away.

A must place to visit. Set in stunning parklands boasting lovely views through the windows. Their facilities are excellent. Lots of different rooms to enjoy a drink, lunch, afternoon tea, or dinner, public and private function rooms. Indoor and outdoor seating.

There is also a brand new spa annex with indoor and outdoor facilities plus a wedding chapel.

There is a good mixture of traditional and contemporary decor to suit most.

Plenty of parking too.

Staff are friendly and professional.

It's a location I have visited on numerous occasions over several years. Not too hard to find, especially if you use Sat Nav.

They are child friendly, on several occasions our young children have decorated their own pizza.

Well located near major commuter routes and not too far from Harrogate. So plenty to see and do locally if you stay for a rest, holiday, special occasion and so on.

Excellent peaceful location. Relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff. Clean and well maintained rooms.

To celebrated an amazing year of business at CLD Recruitment we decided to book on to the Black Tie Party Night on the 2nd December, We had an absolutely brilliant overnight stay, loved all the small details within the hotel, the grounds and hotel are as gorgeous as expected & staff are extremely helpful.

The facilities within the hotel were very convenient and made you feel comfortable, we are very impressed and will defiantly be returning to use the new spa facilities someday soon!

Fantastic Campsite biggest weve ever been too... great location for Great Yorkshire show as we will bare this in mind for future visit. Clean friendly site onsite workers very friendly and helpful.

Having been down with a relentless flu-type lurgy for some time, I visited with my boyfriend last weekend for a quiet, relaxing night away in hope of lifting my spirits, and boy, did RP do that! From the moment we stepped into the hotel, someone came to take our bags and the receptionist who checked us in was so warm and friendly - it doesn t sound like much but it really makes all the difference and puts you in a great mood from the word go. Over the whole stay, we found that the staff were attentive and efficient. We were shown to our room and, on the way, were taken in by all the decor. The hotel is furnished in beautiful taste and very unique in its style. In particular, we loved the library which has the most amazing hanging chair! I d definitely recommend having a laze on that! Our room was absolutely stunning and impeccably clean. The bed was one of the comfiest I ve ever slept on and there s even a pillow menu if you re particularly fussy about your bedtime nest. Extra touches like this were a regularity during our stay, for example, a lovely card awaited us from the hotel when we arrived and an array of Molton Brown products were included which I used in my bubble bath. Dinner in The Clocktower was delicious and service was fantastic; due to my sore throat, I d asked the bartender for a specific whisky-based cocktail that wasn t on the menu and it didn t disappoint! With full bellies we went to have a glass of Prosecco in the spa and this was our favourite part of the whole experience. This spa is AMAZING. The roof top pool is absolutely lovely but especially magical in the evening; it was a really clear night, the stars were out and there were some beautiful twinkly lights in the trees that just mesmerised us. I felt so unbelievably content and it s a moment I ll never forget. Other favourites included the herbal steam room and the visual relation room... just bliss. We weren t able to take advantage of the golf but I ve heard it is a fantastic course - perhaps, next time! In summary, I cannot recommend Rudding Park enough. We will certainly be back!

I have just returned from Rudding Park where I took 24 people for a golfing break. The service, food, rooms, course were all exceptional. I organise many such trips, this was the best hotel I have experienced, it had everything

As others have noted, we found the bar and restaurant prices a bit steep, but the overall experience was wonderful beginging from our arrival to departure. Rooms were are tastefully decorated and comfortable, amenities 10/10 and staff were delightful. We look forward to our next stay.

The best spa experience I have had. A beautiful setting. Since our first trip we are now going at least every month.

Had a fabulous first visit to Rudding Park. Such a beautiful place with a lovely selection of spa facilities in a stunning setting, that allowed you to escape the everyday. From the moment our group stepped into the resort we were made to feel at home, receiving a first class service from every single member of staff I encountered. The professional, approachable and friendly young men and women showing us around the resort and assisting with enquiries simply couldn t do enough for us, while in the restaurant we received an equally warm and welcoming environment and excellent food.

To top my day off I was privileged enough to have Helen for my treatment, a radiance facial that left me feeling like I was floating, I was so relaxed. Thank you for such a wonderful experience can t wait to come back soon.
