Amazing University. A very impressive campus. Excellent staff. Historical architecture and surrondings are picturesque.

Stunning looking up from the street, and has an amazing view looking down.
Fish tank, Ben & Jerry's, neat alcoves for sitting, SEFCU.
D&D club is very loud but otherwise good service. I got my car back in no time.
College dining with Panera, burgers, pizza and wraps. Friends staff. Very clean.
Great meet up place, but main just for college students. Always clean and warm.
Good place to visit. Can be busy but relaxing area as well.
Services provided are two expensive and are taking advantage of students the building is run down and not very comfortable it should be a family room for students
The food and products are over priced by about 50%.
Many good choices for food. Not a normal school cafeteria.
Food is not bad. Student government tries hard to work well I guess. Go to Thunder Mountain Curry and get the Buddha Bowl salad, it's really good.
Food is better than the dining halls and pretty well priced. Great place for late night studying. Projector systems in the meeting rooms don t always work well.
Ah I remember when it was student run before being hijacked by the school.
What a beautiful school. Smart and nice. Great things are happening here.
HDnt been here in over 20 years. Looks pretty much the same except for Ben and Jerry's and some other food choices. Bookstore looks the same
It's essentially the center of life on the RPI campus. Almost anything will happen here. You see comedy shows and Domino toppling programs and all sorts of other fun activities.
Grew up down the street and I had been going there since I was four years old until I graduated from RPI. Heck, I still love it and make sure to stop there when I bring the kids up for a visit. I liked the old wood finish than the modern white look, but this is partially my fault cause I did for for the union to be modernized in 1996.
International Festival was amazing, and what a great way for students to share their culture than by good food and beautiful dance!
It's changed quite a bit since I was a student. Many more food options. The retail in the bookstore has expanded significantly. I was a little disappointed that the bowling alley is gone, but I guess that's not unexpected. I remember having breakfast here most mornings as an upperclassman. I don't think that's still an option. It looks like The Polytechnic no longer has its prime corner office. The comfortable furniture I remember has been replaced by work stations. Not sure what I think of the glass-enclosed balconies, but I'm glad they built atria around the doors on the first floor. I always thought they were energy inefficient before opening directly to the outside as frequently as they did.
It was both familiar yet noticeably different.
good food options, a quality convenience store, and a stocked bookstore. The bar is a hidden gem for a cold beer.
Center of student life at RPI. Odds are, you will spend a lot of time in the Union if you are a student.
Found a dead rat in daddy's, sodexo wouldn't let use flex on it. Still better than the calzone's at mf Cusato's. Good crunch on the rat though
Amazing food considering it's a college campus. Has burgers, pizza and Halal/Thai.
I went to the pizza place the guy literally was scratching his bare arms... THEN TURN AROUND AND STARTED MAKING PIZZA WITH THEM NASTY HANDS...#GROSS I'll never eat pizza again
Great place to study. Also has a fantastic pub on the 3rd flooor.
Not student run, but a good place for a bite to eat, has variety and Ben and Jerry's but food closes early during the summer.
I work at Samaritan Hospital and once in while get lunch at the union. Love..love the pizzeria. Pizza fantastic and wait staff is always very personable and kind. Having Panera is a plus as well. Thank you RPI for a great lunch!!!!
It has lots of places to do anything you want, eat,s shop and the people are really helpful
Several choices for lunch including a new Panera. Bookstore is quite large with a variety of well priced merchandise. Beautiful building, well maintained.
The Union is, like most places, what you make of it. It is always open. However, the Rathskeller closes at midnight. The availability of food right before midnight is great since it enabled all-nighters with friends in the meeting rooms. Over some past weekends, we've been able to hold LAN parties in meeting rooms, projector included to display music queue. Great place to do homework and study into the morning. Father's is open till midnight on Friday, so send some people to get energy drinks while you get food. Overnight, the Union is as quiet as the Folsom library is. Also, not all chairs are the most soft chairs in the Union. There exists a best of the best set of chairs, explore. Have a great time during your stay at the Union.
Crappy food and not even owned by students any more
Great place to study and good food. The union is the social hub of the RPI campus and for good reason. It's the headquarters for all clubs and organizations as well as the campus bookstore.
This place sucks.
Just kidding it's not that bad
Try Thunder Mountain Curry for a taste of Thailand.
Pub, nice bookstore, multiple places to eat, small grocery store.
Collar city grill / halal is fire ngl
Also they got BJs
The union is mostly crowded with students but still there are plenty of sittings available. There is a food court downstairs with quite a few options. The food is good but a bit pricey. There is also a public piano here for people to use.
Delicious pizza, friendly staff, and an inviting atmosphere make for the ideal place to eat.
A very comfortable friendly place full of people just trying to get by.
Good place to study and grab food. Food is rather expensive though.
