Very poor service. Any problems after 5 pm or on weekends results in no contact with the company, except on their payday, only because it us an automatic withdrawal.

Have the highest speed that you can get and when I run the test I don't even receive half the speed, when you call it's never their end it's always your end, bought a brand-new $200 router and still have issues just horrible altogether. They are like hughes net over crowding their towers

Called for new service guy didnt even take my address and said sorry dont offer it in your area and hung up on me (Randall) and waited on hold when I called back for 45 mind wile it said the entire time I was first in line ... worst customer service experience I have ever had

Bad customer service and terrible internet. Wouldn't recommend. When you call they will ask for you to do a speed test, when giving the numbers it's your router and you need to buy a new one. Do not use this service. They're terrible.

Hands down a five star company. Very friendly owner and does everything he possibly can for you. Great internet too, which is the most important part.

We switched from Windstream to Altius a couple of months ago. Like the other reviewer, we finally got fed up with Windstream and made a switch. The two companies are like night and day. On Altius, when I run a speed test, I get the full 10 Mb/s that I'm paying for. With Windstream, I was lucky to see a download speed of 300 kb/s. Altius' service has been a constant connection, gone are the days of constantly calling Windstream tech support saying my internet is down. After being a Windstream customer for 10 years, the switch to Altius Broadband has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I pay half the price for a 10 Mb connection that I was paying Windstream for 3 Mb, and never got. If you live in Fleming county and are in a rural area, save yourself a lot of headache, and money, and make the switch to Altius.

Our time with Altius Broadband was short lived. We ended switching back to Windstream Communications once they offered 10 mb/s in our area. It's not much, but it works. Windstream this time around has been golden, with no real outages or slow speeds. I believe we may have called once, for a slowed connection, but we were back up to 10-11mb/s within a 20 minute conversation with customer support.

Really bad, overpriced internet service. Customer service rarely answers the phone, does not return calls. Wish there were other options in my area.

They never answer the telephone in the office!! Last month nearly six days on two weekends with NO SERVICE!!!

Everything everyone here says about poor service and empty promises is true. Quick to install, zero return when needed. I ve now been blatantly lied to for seven weeks and have service that is practically nonexistent. Stood up numerous times when I ve scheduled for them to be at my home, emails not returnedShall I go on? Please, do yourself a favor and avoid Altius at all costs.

Company lies. Charge astronomical fee for no service

Worst company ever. We had them for over a year. Everytime it rained, snowed, or the wind blew too hard our service would go out. It would take spells where it would blink in and out for hours on end. Worst customer service ever. Wont answer phone calls unless you call 20 times straight, and if you leave a voice message, they wont respond.Our service was out for over a MONTH, and they kept telling us that they were going to fix it, but it turned out to be a huge lie. They finally told us that they decided they just weren't going to fix our service and now we don't have internet. DO NOT get them. They lie, they don't know how to respond to customers, and the internet is crap.

We have been without service now for 26 days. They have cancelled appointments and have no estimated time of repair. we were still charged for the time we had no service with the promise it would be credited to our account. No body will answer the phone in the corporate office.

Really good choice if you live in a rural area. We had windstream for a while until we had enough of their crappy service. So we switched to altius, and it was completely opposite of the old review on here from a couple years ago. Great service, great internet, and for a good price. The internet glitches out occasionally, but not very often. Overall, great company.
