Overpriced book store
Excellent meeting place for a school. Open all night, so great for late night homework. Food is pretty good (especially the burger place!)
I don't wanna be this guy but it's just way too expensive. The sushi is solid... the pub is alright on Fridays. Ben and Jerry's is good but outside of those things the walk to McDonalds is worth the savings.
Food has drastically improved over the last year, it now features a Panera Bread chain, halal, curry, a burger joint with prices comparable to Five Guys, and a pizza joint that serves jumbo slices with a wide variety of toppings.
What it loses a star for: the first floor store is very overpriced, even on low level materials like pencils and notebooks. Pointless to shop there for anything other than RPI gear. (Even then, wait for a sale!)
Great place for lunch, study in groups even practice piano. Help desk for visitors is now staffed in the summer at the Sage Ave entrance. Paners is coming too!
I will hope to see it in the middle of semester when use and busy activity will show me a real perspective to provide a good honest review
