Hello, Cupcake Review

As a Baker I'm picky. These cupcakes were DIVINE! Scratch cupcakes, perfect balance of crunch and moistness, and delicious frosting. I live in Seattle but I will definitely be making a trip back soon.

I can't believe I forgot to review this GEM!! This cupcake house is so posh and adorable. And the cupcakes. *weeps* These were some of the BEST confectionary treats I have had in -years-. The flavors are rich and the cupcakes are perfectly baked, melt in your mouth. P.s. these guys have partnered up with Ice Cream Social, too. Icecream, cupcakes, match made, perfection, ya gotta go to hello, cupcake!

Bomb like always. Very helpful staff I placed a order the day before and totally forgot to pick it up and the staff called and reminded me I really appreciate it

Nice place, little small but cute. Cupcakes were on point. I only wanted to try one of my friends but ended up walking back in to get one of my own. Hats off to the baker. I ordered the vanilla with butter creme icing.

Cupcakes where dry and over baked. The flavors weren't bad, a tad too sweet. I think I will try the other shops. After several dry and too sweet cupcakes over the last few visits I am left wanting. Not worth the price for me.

My friend took me to this cupcake place in Tacoma. It's a cute little shop with good cupcakes. A bit crispy on the muffin top and rich moistness on the inside. The picture has: Smores, raspberry lemonade, strawberry cheesecake, carrot, and cookie dough.
It was $1.75/mini which is what's pictured.

Parking can be difficult but the staff are friendly and the cupcake are nice.

I bought a dozen regular cupcakes with fondant lettering happy birthday and a dozen mini cupcakes for my husbands birthday. BEST cupcakes I ve ever had. No joke. They are as pretty as they are delicious. I will be ordering from them for all our birthday cupcake needs and other special occasions. Very impressed!

Got several cupcakes and absolutely loved the vanilla cupcake with vanilla buttercream. I also got a lemon one but it was not my favorite. Cute little place with many options to choose from.

These cupcakes were a surprise birthday present for me,and I thought that I woke to find myself in cupcake heaven. Terrific cupcakes

The cupcakes with chocolate frosting were my favorite, along with the seasonal chocolate-peanut butter. Yum yum!

This used to be my go-to cupcake place, but not any more. The last two times that i ordered from here, the cupcakes were STALE. Huge waste of money. Big disappointment.

I haven't had a bad cupcake yet! I'm a fan of the red velvet personally... They aren't cheap but no specialty cupcake bakery is. 4 stars is because sometimes they can be a little on the dry side. Still delicious!

I attend UWT. I hadn't had carrot cake since the 90s. I bought 4 cupcakes for $14.95. That's way too expensive for cupcakes. However, the place is clean, the cashier was friendly and the cupcakes were amazing!

A staple of Downtown Tacoma, with gloriously sweet treats I would recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth.

Every time we go in there are new fun flavors and the cupcakes are all decorated so beautifully. Great prices for great quality cupcakes! :) it's always a special treat to visit.

I crave their cupcakes all the time. They're so good. My husband and I had their mini cupcakes at our wedding, it was great. They have a set of cupcakes always and then some great seasonal ones they rotate through.

By far the best cupcakes I've ever bought and my very favorite cupcake place! I am smitten. They have both the most beautiful and tastiest cakes that come in standard size or mini. So ornate and many often come with fillings to match their theme. The frosting is super creamy, and the cake is always moist and fluffy. It's the perfect ratio of cake and frosting. My favorites are their peanut butter chocolate, french toast, and double chocolate. They also have the best rewards system! Can't even count how many free cupcakes I've received to date :).

Looking for a sweet desert or snack? Get 1 or a dozen, always a tasty variety to choose from. Have been coming here since they first opened, always satisfied.

The carrot and chocolate cakes seem to be family favs. We order the mini cupcakes for school birthdays. Catch them between 5 and 6pm to see if they have the buy 3 get 3 cupcakes promo for happy hour!

Well, I have had worse cupcakes, but than again I have had better too. The one I got just did not want to stay together and when it has a bit of a cream filling that can be a real problem

Hello, Cupcake was the perfect choice for our wedding dessert!! The cupcakes were so delicious - we ordered Vanilla, Peanut Butter Chocolate, and Red Velvet (this was my favorite)! They were a huge hit with our guests and looked so cute on the cupcake display. Hello Cupcake was so easy to work with. Rochelle and her team provided great communication and excellent service the whole way through. Would definitely recommend!!

I stopped by for some mini to taste.
Loved the chocolate and hazelnut, but will definitively go back for the Boston.

Love going here for a special treat. Also enjoy the monthly flavor changes. Always something new to try.

This is a cute place to sit and share a treat with a friend. I picked up some cupcakes recently for our staff at Bishops Cut/Color and they were enjoyed by everyone! I d totally give this place 5 if it was easier to find parking close by. However, if you were planning on spending a rainy winter afternoon at the Glass Museum, you could treat yourself to an amazing cupcake there afterwards!

It's a nice downtown location. Super pricey for a small, okay cupcake. My daughter wouldn't finish hers. Didn't like that it was super sugary without much flavor. Maybe it was just an off day at the shop.

Hello Cupcakes provided cupcakes for our wedding reception on 4/20/19 as well as our cutting cake which came from Celebrity Cake Studio.
The cupcakes were delivered at the promised time without issue.
The cutting cake was so delicious and moist as were the cupcakes.
We were able to do all communicating with the wedding coordinator via email. We didn t schedule a tasting because we frequent hello cupcake and knew what we d be getting.

Really good!! Try the French Toast Cupcake if you haven't already! Red Velvet cupcake is also a favorite of mine! Expensive, but worth it. I would recommend this place to anyone with a sweet tooth!

Today was my mother in laws 78th birthday. She lost my Father in law just over a year ago, they were married for 60-years. Currently she is suffering from a condition that effects her ability to eat solid food; and is undergoing rehab in a facility I wanted to make her birthday extra special so I stopped by HELLO CUPCAKE. I just wanted 1 special one for her but ended up buying a few! The packaging was exactly perfect to present the cupcake. She loved it so much she refused to eat it!

The cupcakes are a bit expensive however; worth it!

Not many choices but we went right before closing. Think it would be better to go sooner in the day. Cake was moist and flavorful, frosting was a bit sweeter then I personally like, but still a good place to get a cupcake.

Fun atmosphere, beautiful cupcakes. The cakes can be dry by the end of the day, but they still taste alright. My favorites are the ones with candies baked into them! I love that this company will support local organizations. They did a special heart cupcake in February (CHD awareness month) that raised funds to support Mended Little Hearts of Puget Sound. My daughter has a congenital heart defect, so that really won me over.

The cupcakes here are good. The red velvet is my favorite here...great cream cheese frosting. The customer service wasn't that great. The woman at the counter was not outright rude. She just wasn't helpful or friendly.

I ve had cupcakes at a bunch of different places in the Seattle/Tacoma area, these are the best. I love their flavors and the texture of the cake and frosting. They also look amazing. Great customer service and I love their loyalty program. Highly recommend these if you re looking for great cakes.

Overpriced and not fresh - frosting had gone hard and sponge dried out.

Cupcakes are very good. Frosting tastes more natural and buttery than nasty cheap shortening filled store bought icing/cream topped cupcakes.

Cupcakes are tricky to get moist cake in small serving but they do a good job. The frostings are amazing as is the presentation. Great shop very clean, lots of cupcake variety. Reasonable prices too

These folks have come through for me twice..I live in Texas,gave them a call and they delivered for my friend and his family during a tough time...Kudos,kudos,kudos!!

Moderately expensive and super sweet. Not bad but not great. The location and staff are nice.

Cute little shop + great cupcakes. They have regular size or minis. There is a bar top or a few tables that you can eat at (currently not with Covid). Only downfall is that whenever I go they tend to have run out of a couple flavors already. Go early so you can see all cupcakes options!

Let me start by saying WOW! I went there because I have always wanted to try a "bakery cupcake" in comparison to the store bought ones. Let's just say YOU CAN NOT COMPARE! On Tuesday, I bought 4 cupcakes for my office. On Wednesday I was sent back to buy a dozen! We got the mini's so we could try them all! Did I mention my office is in Auburn? Like, deep Auburn. SO WORTH IT! Price wise, I was hesitant the first time, but people, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! These are a treat that are worth EVERY PENNY! I will ALWAYS recommend this place! Please never leave!

We have ordered cupcakes from here several times, they are hands down the best around when it comes to taste, the frosting is delicious, not overly sweet, so incredibly moist and gorgeous! They are so creative! Got July's banana split flavor of the month, and it was so awesome, I was worried it would be too much banana flavor but it was a total hit, everyone loved them! The carrot cake, raspberry lemonade and pina colada were amazing, and of course the original flavors are always incredible. We drive from South Hill Puyallup just for this place even though we have cupcake shops right in town, nobody can compare to Hello Cupcake!

My first time going there and I purchased the Snickerdoodle cupcake. It was delicious!! The place is clean and smells divine. Be sure to get there early in the day for certain menu items. I learned that they run out by the end of day. The service was fast, pleasant and informative. And if your sweet tooth like ice cream with your cupcakes, they have ice cream too.
