Just returned from two week stay. Had a fantastic time, hotel beautiful and immaculate. Rooms clean, roomy and beds extremely comfortable. Service excellent and loved turndown service.
The only 2 improvements I could suggest are one, better toilet roll and two a grab and go all day food service like Dutch trading co at sapphire falls.
Would highly recommend

I stayed here with my family of four and we really enjoyed it. It's about a 15 minute ferry ride from the Universal Parks and you get a express pass for staying there. The express pass is great, you can go on the rides as much as you want.

Attended a tech conference here. They have a large space, and the pool was a very cool experience. Their catering for events is kind of hit/miss, and I'm not a fan of paying $25 to park as a hotel guest, but the water taxi is always a neat experience.

Ate at the sushi bar with my family. The service was really good and the atmosphere was nice. The food itself was pretty good, was hoping for a little better, approximately 30% of the rolls use imitation crab meat which I'm not a fan of. I got the dynamite roll which was good.

Saying the Royal Pacific Resort is paradise doesn't do it justice. My family and I felt like we were in Bali and for us it was a short drive from Clearwater. The kids didn't want to leave the amazing pool. OK, so every great resort has a great pool, music, drinks etc. but Saturday evening poolside at Royal Pacific had an authentic fire dancer and a beautiful Polynesian hula dancer teaching the kids how to dance. Our view from the room was spectacular. The food isn't your run of the mill fare. It's consistent with what you'd experience in the south Pacific. Total tune out from the outside world. We can't wait to go back.

Our room was very nice, with comfortable beds and linens. The pool was great. Plenty of seating. How nice to have sunscreen as well as water with fruit available! We enjoyed having a quick walk or ferry ride to Universal Studios, though the signage to catch the bus to Volcano Bay could have been better. Express passes that came with the room really came in handy! My only complaint about this hotel is that there was a gap in the shower door design that we didn't realize at first, so there was a bit of a mess on the floor. There was no fan in the bathroom either, which is less than desirable.

Great location for access to Universal Orlando. You can take the boat or just walk for 10 minutes...it was great to have the option. Decent restaurants with a good grab and go breakfast for a run to the park. Hertz rental available on site. Rooms and bathrooms were modern and clean.

Non-smokers beware. Lovely resort. Impossible to avoid cigarette smoke. Very expensive. Wall of smoke will await you at all exits and covered hallways.

Not the place to stay for anyone with asthma, COPD, or allergies to cigarette smoke. Before booking, had read old reviews talking about this issue, specifically asked about it prior to booking and was assured they enforce the smoking areas. One would think with all the old posts, they would have addressed this issue by now. They haven't.
And if it does rain, patrons smoke wherever there is an overhang and resort staff don't do anything. I was told, "well, we cannot very well ask people to stand in the rain to smoke" like that is the only option available, since there are covered smoking areas. Sigh.

The biggest issue is you cannot get to the parks or most resort amenities without walking through a smoking section. So, you get on an elevator inside the building and step off the elevator to get to the restaurants, which are connected on that floor to an outside hall and walk right into a huge haze of smoke! And forget holding your breath from the elevator to get inside restaurant because it is too far. I couldn't make it and doubt most people could.

Most importantly to me, I could not get from the resort to the parks without walking through multiple assigned smoking areas, so it is physically impossible to avoid it. The best route is a longer route, out the front lobby, down the driveway (thru smoking area) and down a path, which also passes through another smoking area to get to CityWalk or the boat ramp (to get to boat ramp you walk through another smoking area). Patrons are supposed to confine themselves to the assigned areas, but anytime people are outside walking, they will smoke, so there are also people smoking along this walk. The express passes were great, but I would look for another location where the smoking section layouts will allow me to move from point A to point B without passing through a smoking area forced to inhale smoke.

The resort could address this, if they looked to create a path for non-smoking guests. Starting at the front door, they could restrict smoking to only on the left side away from the path to the parks and remove the section along that path. They could also adjust the location at the boat ramp. It obviously has not been a priority and they have received many, many complaints and are aware of the issue. At the very least, they should be honest when guests specifically ask about smoke and tell people that there is no way to get to the parks without walking through some smoke.

So, if you must stay here and you react to smoke, good luck! I would avoid the downstairs restaurants. And do not get on the elevators, as they frequently have smoke on them after opening to smoking area. The emergency stairs were ok, as long as it wasn't raining. The lobby is actually on the 3rd floor, so ask for a room on that floor and you want tower 2, so you can avoid the other amenity areas. You may be able to use the pool if it isn't busy with smokers, but have to pass multiple smoking areas to get there. Best way is again leaving through the lobby and walking all around the building (tower 2) to approach from the back of the pool, but only during the day because that entrance is closed later and you will have to circle through two more smoking sections to get to main pool entrance. Be sure to bring emergency inhalers and masks for your walk from resort to the parks/amenities. And even if you are not regularly on steroids and respiratory treatments, ask your doctor and bring everything in your arsenal because you are probably going to need them. Also, if you are someone that has attacks with exposure, be sure to keep someone with you on the long walk. It might be too late by the time someone finds you.

Amazing resort & added benefits if visiting Universal Studios. Room service was very prompt & formal. Housekeeping was incredibly polite & accommodating. Most issues were resolved in a timely manner.

The check in process was long & tedious, even with advance reservations. Then another long wait in a separate line for Universal passes. It would have been nice to have hotel transportation to & from airport with all reservations neatly packed & waiting( like the home of The Mouse does).

We were part of a wedding group & there were multiple billing mix ups. PAY ATTENTION TO ALL CHARGES ON ROOM BILLS!!! I do not recommend adding " bill to room" option as it isn't broken down as to what was billed.

The restaraunts on site are higher than average area, including park. They charged 25% gratuity for wedding reception, rather than usual 18%. The food was ok, but better food & pricing were avaible close by.

Covid time is the best time to go. I felt safer inside the hotel and theme parks than outside them. The level of sanitation precautions, continuous treatments, and guest and staff mask rules was terrific. Wonderful experience and felt safe the entire time!

Beautiful, extremely well run resort. The universal studios express passes we got for staying at Loews were great, and having the water taxi to ride between the resort and universal citywalk is super convenient.

Great staff, big rooms, and tons to do. It can get a little rowdy at night, but what else can you expect at a hotel inside Universal Resort? I stayed here for a work event and was very pleased.

Great, upscale hotel in the Universal Resort. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, five minute walk to Citywalk and the parks. Best of all, Express Pass included. Good pool although more parasols are needed for the number of sun loungers. Would stay again.

Originally we were booked at Portifino, however due to covid we were rebooked here.hotel is pretty to look at, but the beauty is only a facade. Hotel is loud. Guest on our floor were very rude shouting in the halls at 7am. No posted or enforced quiet hours. Check in staff are so loud I couldn't hear the lady checking is in. Dining options are very limited. Pool bar tender is rude and unhelpful. He had an attitude as though we were inconveniencing him even though the bar was not busy. We were given a $50 dining credit at the resort that we were unable to use, because of limited options. Very disappointed in this property. We won't be back.

Lovely and beautiful place with great garden. However, I was really disappointed when I had room with park tickets included and at the hotel they printed out only the room key and express pass. We figured it out after waiting the line at the park that we don't actually have tickets. Nice pool and restaurants. Really close to the parks, walking distance with a pretty view.

I stayed here and it was a experience!!! I loved every minute of it. It was the best hotel a person could stay. Complementary snacks and food basically all day long. The pool was gigantic, and the fact that it was right next to Universal was amazing.

The Loews team took with the laundry an important item and did not give any importance to finding it. I followed up several times and no attention was given to it, by management or security. I do not recommend this hotel.

Greetings by staff on arrival were very nice. Our room was in Tower 2. Beautiful room, but a little too far to walk for a family with small kids. Wonderful staff at breakfast at Cafe on 3rd floor by fountain. Great way to start the day. Express passes to parks were great to have. Boat ride and walking path both nice. Would not recommend Rickshaw as drivers work on tips only and aren't friendly when tipped what they deem to be a small amount.
We will be staying here again in the fall. Great choice for families.

Nice, clean resort with friendly staff. Felt comfortable staying here with COVID-19 safety precautions and social distancing measures they have put in place. Location with option for water taxi transportation or an easy 10 minute walk to City Walk was great. Express passes included in stay are also applicable the days of your check-in and departure which was an awesome bonus.

Is a nice place, very little holiday decorations. Not really my cup of tea, due to the upper class feeling, more of a working class guy. But it's a nice resort that gives express passes, which I think is why the room rates are that much higher then other resorts on site.

Very nice rooms. Lots of things closed and restricted due to Covid-19. I expected some of it. However, not to the extent I experienced. No housekeeping during our stay. Parts of the pool was closed. Snack bars and restaurants. The water taxi's were great. Lifeguard's were fun, helpful and very respectful, they kept a fun and safe environment. All employees were respectful and helpful. I appreciated the daily temperature checks and daily bracelets. Paying for parking at your hotel was ridiculous and expensive. The hotel restaurants that "Were" open are high priced. Food was good and the staff was very good. I do get that it costs more at resort's but I still think for as much as we paid more options should have been made available.

We've stayed at the RPR literally 40-50 times. Rarely do we ever have an issue, and when we do it's handled immediately. This particular trip was excellent as usual. Only downside was the club level food options were more restricted due to Covid. No one's fault, is what it is on that. We will be back this weekend and also for a week at the end of the month. Can't wait.

Royal Pacific is a beautiful property with great included amenities such as early park admission, included Express Unlimited passes, and quick/easy transportation to the theme parks. Jake s American Bar on-site ya some very tasty options. The water taxis were great! The only down sides of our trip were that the water taxis stop running even in slight rain, and the lack of technology in our hotel room. For it to be such a digital/streaming word in 2020, the TV technology in the rooms at Royal Pacific are greatly lacking. There is no streaming platform or the ability to connect to any streaming services even through casting into the television. We have stayed at the Adventura previously, which provided an in-room tablet that controlled all in-room technology including being able to connect to the guests Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu accounts. Hopefully, this can be updated soon. Although not much time may be spent in a room during a vacation, having these options are a great addition if you re rained in.

Nice hotel, but given more options, I'd go with something a little nicer. Rooms are lower priced (around $200s). Staff is nice. Best part of this hotel is the great bar past the lobby area with lots of outlets and comfy seats to work remotely. Middle outdoor courtyard is wonderful to enjoy fruit and relaxing fountains.

Considering the circumstances this trip we had a great time. We've stayed at Royal Pacific Resort multiple times and we've always had a wonderful experience. From the knowledge and friendliness of the staff to the accessibility to the theme parks Royal Pacific is highly recommended. We're already planning our trip for next year!

This was our first trip to Universal Studios Florida, and I was blown away by the level of customer service and attention to detail. My expectations were low going in, because we love Disney. However, Universal and Loews Royal Pacific rivaled my customer service expectations with Disney. Everyone welcome us, and made a point to make our children feel special.
We traveled during the time of masks and hand sanitizer. The hotel was incredibly clean. Everyone wore masks, they checked temperatures daily of guests, and kept everything socially distant.
The water taxis to the park are full of fun drivers who play music and create a fun atmosphere for you and your family. They ran plenty of taxis so even when there was a line due to limited capacity for "distancing", they had a line of boats ready to pick up the crowd.
The parks give you hand sanitizer with every ride and you see constant cleaning, with face masks, and ordering food via cell phones. The lack of crowds during the week make you feel like you are in some "private, limited experience" - which makes it even more special. Staying on property gives you the Express pass that allows you to almost walk on rides. I am so glad we decided to go!

I had a great time! I went to the theme parks that were literally walking distance away, and had great rooms, mine had a view of Islands of Adventure, of the drop tower and hulk rollercoaster. Great pool, restaurants and little shops. Even has a workout gym! Service was great too. Only downside is that it took so long to ready the room, but I was able to hang out at the pool while waiting. So overall, a great hotel, you should definitely check it out! (P.S., Fly if you're more than a 6 hour drive away, unless you're brave enough to do a long drive there like I did!) I met other people too, who said they were having a great time. I will never forget this trip as long as I live.

First stayed at royal Pacific orlando a few years ...

First stayed at royal Pacific orlando a few years ago. Stayed in the club level, loved the food and drink, rooms were ok. Since then the hotel has remodeled. To be critical, they should have purchased wall friendly courtesy carts. As the room custodians make their way down the hall cleaning rooms, these carts have made the walls look like a wal mart loading ramp wall, beat to heck. We go to universal orlando every year for my wife's birthday. Have stayed at portofino, hard rock, royal pacific, cabana bay, sapphire falls, double tree orlando. At first, portofinos club level was substandard compared to royal pac. Then portofino upped their game. Hard rocks club is no comparison to royal pac, hard rocks club is 3rd of 3. Since portofino upped the game, food comparison between porto and royal pac is near identical. Where portofino spreads the gap and takes the lead is club level booking flexibility. You do not have to be on the "club floor". Royal pac also loses points on birthday perks. First year we got a small cupcake, great recognition, we loved it. Next year was a drink ticket to Jake's. We went in, the bartender handed us a drink menu, we showed him the drink ticket and he yanked the menu out of my wife's hands, gave her a new sub menu and said this is your drink list. Now I dont mind having a certain set to order from but c'mon, you dont yank things out of people's hands unless your a dlck. Props to Jake's beer fest though, it was worth the ticket price. This stay we noticed this big blue piece of plumbing pipe laying by the dog walk, random sandbags? , and we noted some coke lids in the hall floor on day one, were still there on day 6. We could have picked them up but was more curious to see if the attendants would make a move. No one picked them up, we all failed the boy scout girl scout pledge . For now, sapphire falls is a much better "off" site stay, portofino is the best on site stay. Royal pacific, I would be hard pressed to stay again, unless it's one of those email offers too good to refuse.

Rooms were clean and nice Decor, the entire place is huge brand new and well-kept. If anything it's just a long walk everywhere. with most of us trying to get our 10,000 steps in every day this is probably a good place to stay. also being part of universal and being able to go down to the City walk on the boat and everything adds a certain level of fun. It was a very nice day thank you very much.

Beautiful hotel, we have never slept in a more comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and always had a smile for you. Just fabulous. And the universal express pass was invaluable. Thanks guys we will be back.

We were visiting Universal studios. Hotel was close and was a wonderful place to come back to for a break from the parks. Worth the extra money to stay on site. Only complaint was we had very poor cellphone service in our room. We stayed on the ground floor in tower 1 (our room view was 2 floors below main entry level) but it was only a quick walk outside for service in the pool area. Since we were on vacation and liked the view we didn't mind. Hotel had WiFi for the kids devices.

This was by far the best place that my family has stayed at in Orlando. We had convenient access to all of Universal Parks. My family really enjoyed our stay. There are great restaurants on site and a very large pool. Highly recommend!

Not worth it. We chose this location because of the Unlimited Express pass but it was not needed for our trip. I was disappointed with the lack of guest compliance with masks in the common areas; didn't like that guests can smoke anywhere, the mounds of trash and used towels up and down the hallways at all hours of the day, and the unimpressive rooms. My suggestion is to spend your hard earn vacation dollars elsewhere.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 10 day stay at Loews Royal Pacific. I had a standard king room which was spotless and the linens/mattress were great. The water temperature at the sink was a little hard to regulate (either very hot or cold) but the shower did not disappoint (water pressure average). Room service was amazing and I found the entire staff to be so pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return before long.

This hotel sits on Universal Studios it was a very nice place to stay on our honeymoon. The staff and onsite restaurants were great and the water taxi and shuttle will get to the parks and by staying here u get early access as also fast pass which helps you skip the lines which is awesome. Would very highly recommend this hotel.

First let me say that everything was beautiful, clean and well maintained. Now let me say that the included express passes for the Universal parks were the biggest factor in choosing this resort. Valet parking is $27 a day while self parking is $20. You don't need a car to get to and from any of the universal attractions everything is a 10 minute walk or a 5 minute water taxi ride. I paid over $100 for my car to be parked less than 5 times in 5 days. The on-site restaurants were pretty good but a little overpriced. The buffet breakfast for 3 was $70+ we gave our super great server a $20 tip. The buffet was just your standard buffet with a omelette station. We got the Jurassic Park kids room that is attached to the parents king size bed room. The room was just fine, but don't expect to spend (special mommy / daddy) night time Fun. The kids door opens directly to the parents room that the kids have to walk through to get to the bathroom (awkward). No microwave or mini fridge without request. If it wasn't for the express pass and location I would have saved money on a resort with less expenses. Don't get me wrong this resort is beautiful, clean and comfortable but many of the things I paid for should have been included in my opinion.

I have visited Universal Studios & Island of Adventure in June (first day when they just re-opened) and in July (after Disney World opened). Whenever I visit Universal, I stay in "on site" hotels. I like the proximity to the parks, express pass benefits, and the hotels themselves. In my personal opinion, overall, I feel that Universal does a better job at COVID-19 situation.

AMAZING RESORT!!! Absolutely recommended. Clean, relaxing, tropical get away. Close to the parks, quick walk or boat service. Everything was just perfect about this resort everything down to the smell of the Lobby! Really I want to bottle that smell and bring it home.

Windows in room didn't allow view since they were filled with moisture from broken seals. Toilet sink broken. 3 pods of coffee? Room too small for two beds. No room for chair. Clean. Modern, but not very comfortable.

Expect the royal treatment at Loews Royal Pacific. My family really enjoyed our stay in the Presidential Suite. The view was excellent. The overall amenities and extras such as meals made this a dynamic start to our Orlando vacation.

Really nice hotel and clean. The staff was also great--especially Elizabeth at check-in. She went out of her way to accommodate our needs. All of the other staff members always greeted us in the hallways and when they passed us outside. The fact that the water taxis run until 2am was really convenient as well. We never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a taxi to or from the parks.

Awesome hotel, very good service, the rooms are comfortable and clean. You get what you pay for, the pool area is great. They have a very big pool, a kids pool. A hot tub.and a nice water playing area, also is walking distance to universal Studios and you get free Express pass for the parks.

Lovely hotel. Very comfortable room. We had a starter of nachos which was $15 but I'm not lying to say that all 4 of us shared then and we didn't finish them! We didn't bother having a meal as we were all full. Cheapest meal out we'd eaten all holiday!

We stayed here for the last part of our holiday! It has been excellent service from the start until the finish. We stayed in a Club level room and the staff in the club lounge have been particularly helpful.. nothing has been a problem and they bend over backwards to make sure your stay is fantastic! A few names to mention are Allison, Katie, Faye and Leigh Anne ( you girls have been fab ) We booked a Cabana for the last day of our visit, this was a perfect way to chill before a long flight home! The Girl that attended to us at Cabana was also very attentive. Overall the service/location/ amenities and cleanliness of this hotel are fab, a perfect family stay.
We will definitely be booking again : )

The hotel itself is is a little older and honestly it doesn't have the amenities that's some of the surrounding hotels have. The best part about this hotel is the location and the fast passes that you get for staying. For a family of four, that can easily save you almost $600.
