Mail i send from northern Ireland to stockport never arrives at the addresses sent to.. This is not the first time it has hsppened. Mail to family in poole dorset and morecombe in lancaster dont arrive either.. Allmail had full address including post code. Imnot veryjappy the birthdayfathers day and christmas carxs never artive. One very unhappy user of your post l service. From miss Blackmore

Ridiculous waiting times, miserable staff, management that can't see past the end of there noses and don't want to manage but are always up for a row! Posters up about customers being aggressive and dogs and them not standing for it but no warning to the customers about the aggressive intimidating staff when you challenge something!

Went to collect a parcel after checking the card.

Got there, door locked so I asked a member of staff could you help me? His response
That s not my area it was too much for him to nip in and get somebody whos area it was.

I went to the side door and found somebody who told me, we are closed today.

It s says Monday to Friday on the card?
Yeah we re open Monday to Friday
Yes mate, it s Wednesday?
We are open Monday to Friday except Wednesdays

It's a good sorting office, it's just a shame it's miles away from my house! Why can't they leave post more local! It defies the point of delivering an item having to drive so far all the time to pick things up.!!!

There is a guy in his late 50's early 60's now on the counter here who clearly either hates the public or doesn't want to do the job. The longer the queue the slower he works. No please or thanks in response to trying to be pleasant. In the age of internet shopping the counter needs to be covered by sufficient staff and those with customer service skills. Generally the staff are pleasant and are friendly. This one isn't

Disgusting service sent my delivery to another place after paying for special delivery then they deliver it to the Royal mail office so I have to pick up well why have I paid for delivery I honestly can't see why u guys wear the crown appalling!!!!!!!!!!!

absolute b****ks, what a waste of time, I could have been making toast for my grandma and children of which I have many, The eldest is 10 and enjoys making sandcastles, unfortunately the 5 tonnes of sand I ordered was not delivered and he cried, I hope you can imagine his sadness and this message makes you relive it in a small way.

P.S. This in no way effects the feelings I have towards Postal sorting office Scunthorpe as they deliver sand on time every week.

P.P.S The above also applies to Postal Sorting Office Grimsby and therefore no hard feelings towards the guys over there.

Not a good experience with Royal Mail at this office. Lost my parcel when I went to collect it and found it the next day so I had to collect it twice. Tried to re-arrange delivery and rang 5 times on different days, no-one answered. Terrible 'service'

Generally they are ok; but if you dare jow ever polite you are, ask them why you charging such amount for one of the services they do! The ladies wont answer you instead rings their brother who works next door and he will come ready for a fight. Not quite sure saying, Intimidating you, is the right word. It is more like terrorising you!!!
Anyway although it is very close to me, I am using different post offices now. What a pitty.
I believe "Customer Service" is a something they never heard of it.
Come on folks, this is England not a 3rd world country.

I find the staff here to always be friendly and working at pace. I visited around Christmas time to collect a parcel and though the queue was large, three staff were on hand and I was served very quickly.

This office is run by thieves, they steal your parcel and never attempt to deliver. They never answer the phone because they know they are all crooks. Do not send any items that go through this office. I HATE THIS OFFICE.

Well run sorting office, and collection facility for mail. Beware that queues can be lengthy at busy periods, but I always find the staff to be helpful, often jolly. Shame this facility was removed from Exchange Street though...

Massive queues, minimal staff, and no sense of urgency whatsoever. Fancy waiting 8 minutes per person with one member of staff serving at peak time on a Saturday? Then this is the place for you! These aren t one off experiences either, they are consistent, and the fact it s gone on so long with no change just demonstrates that they couldn t care less.
Appallingly pathetic, Royal Mail should be embarrassed.

48 hour tracked item never arrived with our custom...

48 hour tracked item never arrived with our customer. Tracking says "Ready for delivery" 8 days ago. Royal Mail couldn't get through to depot, gave me the phone number. I've phoned 6 times already in 2 hours - no response, always just rings out.

I've never had such a problem phoning any depot! Normally get through on the first call. What is it with this one?!

Came here to check the number I have, it is correct but it's funny how I've found many other people with the same problem.

Stayed at home to receive a parcel that required a signature, and they didn't even knock on my door, they just shoved a card through my letter box. Now I have the inconvenience of driving into Stockport to pick it up. Very very poor.

The postwoman for M12 area is really rude and have 0 patient. I never received my parcel through express delivery, I always have to pick up from their office. This is the sort of problem I never face with DPD or Amazon prime. It's a shame that royal mail is falling behind due to this sort poor service and not doing anything about it. Royal mail should stick to their mail service rather than parcel delivery. There is also no option on royal mail website to make complaint about this sort of service.

30 of my daughter's wedding invitations have not been delivered so there must be a sack of mail still sitting in this sorting office or it was stolen en route to this sorting office. Tried to contact them on the number given here but although it rang and rang there was no answer. They just don't want to know but I am going to lodge an official complaint and keep a log of all my communications with them and pass them onto Ofcom and the press and relevant tv consumer programmes if there is no resolution.

Terrible, no one answers the phone, they keep you waiting half and hour when you call at the place, there's a sign up warning you not to abuse the staff.... perhaps if they were a bit more efficient they wouldn't need the sign. I try not to use them for parcels , Its a bit better now it's privatised but has a long way to go

Cant get them to answer the phone. I have had two cards pushed through my business letter box for parcels which I went to the office to collect . Neither of them was for my business at No. 2 one was clearly marked for another unit, one was for a business in Bristol. I'm still waiting for some important documentation but I have no confidence in this service

Useless! Wouldnt let me collect a parcel for my son who is only 10 yrs old because I have a different surname (my son has his dads surname) we need a drivers licence or debit card .... he's 10 yrs old! Oh its a special delivery it needs to be signed for...what u expect my son to sign for it???? Not happy!!!

Absolutely disgusting customer service. As the other reviews state, clearly no interest in helping the public, almost as if your staff get pleasure from being so rude. You have a sign on your wall saying respect our staff, you should tell your staff to respect the public

Can't believe in the age of internet shopping and at this time of year they have one ir two people at the desk. I've had to pick up 5 parcels this month....4 of which i was home for. People queuing out of the door and down the street. Its not the poor staffs fault. They're pulled between serving and sorting. Royal mail management needs an overhaul. Every other delivery company is miles ahead of Royal mail!

Always massive queues, always minimal staff. Some of them seem to have an intense hatred of the general public.
My postman seems to have doorbell blindness or refuses to press it so i constantly have to drive here to queue for half an hour.

the woman working today was incredibly rude, she individually has put this sorting office in a bad light, wouldnt give me or redeliver my parcel, this is the 4th time ive been and as a key worker it is difficult to find time to, my parcel is in someone elses name as its a present for me from them what is hard to understand. Also why does royal mail put opening hours that arent true on the card

Visited on Thursday 11:30 to pick up parcel, having received the red card. Despite the opening hours on the door stating it was supposed to be open, the man with glasses inside would not open the door, pointing out at the opening hours which are not updated !!! Why would you not provide information on the card you have left behind, if you're not receiving public. There were at least 5 people who came to pick up their parcels in the space of 5 minutes, only to be turned away. How very irresponsible, unacceptable customer service. Shame on you, if you think people do not have anything else to do but to show up only to be turned away, you are WRONG and your staff have no common sense or sufficient training, appalling.
