Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust Review

Must visit near art gallery. Botanical gardens just next door

We attended to view a free exhibition "Herbals: From Myth and Magic to Medicine". Superb display of books and plant specimens.

Spent a bright sunny half-day walking around the Gardens, people/animal watching and taking in some of the best views in Sydney.

The grounds are very well kept with lots on signage so you can identify what you are looking at. The direction signs come in useful as the snaking pathways can mess with your sense of direction at times.

Great place to walk, to rest and appreciate the beauty of nature. Floral festival and the collections of plants and flowers are amazing when thedy are all in full bloom. The city skyline as the backdtop of the garden is an added bonus being in the city center and there so accessible by public transport or by foot walking to the garden.

As a botanist I have always enjoyed the gardens on my infrequent visits. A nice break from the hussle of the nearby CBD. Plenty to see and enough tracks to get happily lost for a while.

Love the botanical gardens and hadnt been for a.couple.of years and was pleasantly suprised by the lovely displays and beautiful garden beds,.

Stunning. Great place for a quiet moment in the hustle and bustle.

Paper cups and dire service in the cafe. Disco sound level, so sat outside. Too much traffic noise. Don't have any expectations of service or quality.

Relaxing place. Walk about. Lay down. Look at the scenic landscapes. Recharge. Have fun. Enjoy it all.

It was very beautiful. There was a bird like a beak that had never seen it. The rose garden was also beautiful.

Great place by the harbour to stroll around,relax on the lawns or check out the sculptures and amazing plant collections and displays

Wonderful location, with the Opera house and Sydney bay within minutes

This is a wonderful place for nice walk, lots of locations for portraits and scenery. Highly recommended a visit to spend an hour plus to wander around and relax!

The Botanic Gardens are expansive and incredibly beautiful for a walk, a picnic or a run. The views out to the harbour and the Opera House are second to none for their striking beauty.

So large, beautiful and almost complete with every botanical species.

I was exhausted after sightseeing and took a nap for a while here. Absolutely fantastic. What a peaceful place. You can see a wide range of flowers and plants. Really good spot.

A wonderful place to walk, so beautifully kept! There are amazing different avenues to walk down. The flowers are gorgeous when in bloom, and even in winter the gardens are stunning to visit. Be weary that the cost of anything there (food/coffee ect) is quite pricey. Beautiful!

Brilliant walk that makes you forget you are so close to the city! The team have some wonders to present an educational walking tour that provides with a while lot of information on the plants and animals that live within the gardens. Great for families and couples. Plenty of shade and amenities! You won't be disappointed.

Fresh air.. Greenery. Windy noise and open space all around makes you fall in love with this place

Oasis from the hustle and bustle. Good for the soul, so so beautiful.
