The genuine birthplace of British punk, if I know my music history. I went to see Gary Numan, himself a bona fide British Post punk, electronic /industrial music Legend. It was the last night of his 40th anniversary tour, and he was quite clearly having a wonderful time. The venue itself felt safe, the staff were great, and seemed to be enjoying themselves as well, which I feel is important. All in all, what us northerners might call a 'cracking night' I shall be visiting again. Any complimentary drinks upon my next appearance will be most gratefully received

Lovely quirky theatre and the barbershop chronicles play was funny and heartwarming...a tard non-PC but I'm ok wv that. Melting pot pop up kitchen was sooo yum too.
Never been before but what a great little venue. Loved that seating section not too steep so wherever your sitting you don t feel too far from the performers. Will def keep an eye out for future gigs. Goes straight to the top of my favourite venue
Totally unique and quite lovely venue. Loved the history behind it and silly to say but the fact it's round , even the corridor and toilets! Reasonably priced bar and easy access from Camden Town or Chalk Farm tube station.
What a great modern venue and with really good sound. So many venue ls have terrible acoustics, but not here. Also good bar prices and with a clear tariff.
I went to see Loyle Carner, I was in a panic half-an-hour before as I had just moved house and lost my tickets. Ben was so on it, thank you Ben from the box office! Had a lovely night, so relieved it was sorted. 10/10
A very special venue with wonderful acoustics, atmosphere and ambience. The food there is excellent for this type of venue. Had some amazing nights there enjoying wonderful live music. Generally attracts really nice, friendly people there to have a good time too.
I'm becoming increasingly disappointed with this place. It's a well organised and very unique venue, however the speakers are set up in a way which only serves to remind you that most punters cannot go two hours without hearing the sound of their own voice. It absolutely ruined Khruangbin for me and Jordan Rakei last Friday wasn't much better. At times the noise from the crowd almost matched volume of the band.
The staff here are so helpful! My friend had a problem and they went through great lengths to help us. Thank you! I wish I could have gotten your names. It was during the chainsmokers concert.
Great venue for concerts. I've been a few times and have never left disappointed. Try and get standing and get into the center circle as this is where I've found the sound quality/atmosphere is the best. Queues for beers can be a little long but the same with most music venues these days.
The sound at the Parcels gig was genuinely poor. Haven't been to any other gigs here but friends who had said it was the same when they'd been before. Appreciate its heavily influenced by the acoustics/design, but still pretty poor.
I attended the Backyard Cinema with my mum at the Roundhouse. It was such an amazing experience and the staff were very helpful, I would recommend bringing a cardigan or jacket as it is outdoors
Love love love seeing music here, friendly staff who have a chat when your queuing and the whole system of getting in and out and getting to the bar and toilets is all very well thought out, we saw kodaline here and it was fantastic, what an amazing evening we had here
The security at the door are not trained well and are very rude. I was standing at the door waiting for a friend, but it was cold so I asked to stand inside while I wait.
The response was very dismissive slamming the door in my face.
Another man standing next to me was also trying to get in but had walked out of the venue to speak to a friend on the phone. He was in fact a very good friend of Nick Maison who was performing tonight.
He clearly had a ticket to get in but security refused to even speak to the man.
Its very surprising for an establishment that has fantastic musicians to have such terrible service. I will not be coming back to the Round House and will advise all my friends that there are better places to go to.
Your staff need better training on how to talk to their customers.
A beautiful music and events venue in the heart of Camden, a short walk from Chalk Farm tube station. Yes, it's round a therefore easily recognisable in an area mixing low Victorian terraces and small new builds. The architectural beauty of the building and the might of the main stage hit you hard once you step in. The Roundhouse is loved very much: you can feel it through and through. The old brick lovingly supported by new polished concrete slabs and the delicate Victorian ironwork securely resting on the base. There is laughter all over the place! Music comes from every corner and the happy faces slide show goes on...cosy and intimate inner space swallows you gently in and the show gets started. The Roundhouse is small or big enough for the best intimate music experience, and its program varies throughout the year covering distinctive styles or events from contemporary music and drama to circus. They give the space to all to try, experiment, get in touch with the old, forgotten fans or blast through the new audience. The Roundhouse is the ambassador for the Roundhouse Charity Trust, and its profits go to support young performing artist who use various recording studios within the main building. There are two further performing rooms in the Roundhouse - a smaller studio on the ground floor fit for a boutique cinema and the stunning round also on the ground floor for talks or VIP meetings. This is a fully accessible venue with a restaurant and bars on all floors. In the summer the Roundhouse extends and opens its terraces for additional, seasonal offers such as the vibrant Beach at the Roundhouse. Inspiring, uplifting, vibrant and a happy venue also telling a unique Camden music history through a permanent exhibition within. A must visit! So happy it s just around the corner from where I live!
We were in a performance of Sting and Shagai. there are no such things. To see this giant duo in such a small place - an experience of life. The advantage that the place is small is all close to great acoustics. The disadvantage - there are also no large screens that will allow the artists to see and hot and crowded and stuffy but great great pleasure
It's a beautiful venue but downstairs isn't sloped enough so when it's near selling out you won't be able to see anything unless you are a tall person. The upstairs area is better, there is a small standing area there but mostly seats. I've been to see a few bands here where the audience chatted loudly through the songs.
Had a good time at the Roundhouse attending screening of LA Nights Singalong Dirty Dancing movie in a large outdoor gazebo with sand on the floor and comfy beanbags to sit on. A nice atmosphere with great bright screen to watch the movie on. Drinks and snack bar available. All in all a great venue.
Nice and modern venue but do not for the love of God check your coat or bag or else you have to wait in line for up to hour after the show to get it back because they only have two people working the coatcheck area. ETA: You may have to wait two hours. I'm taking a star off this review because I'm still in line for my coat.
Wicked little venue. Small enough to have great sound and feel close to the stage even at the back, but big enough to not be cramped. Drinks are averagely priced, found it weird that you couldn't keep the bottle caps on purchased bottles of water due to safety which was a bit of a pain but not a huge deal.
Saw Billy Talent, great show in a great venue. Upstairs seating looked comfy and well situated too.
They even have a little bar and restaurant on site I believe, need to try that next time.
