The genuine birthplace of British punk, if I know my music history. I went to see Gary Numan, himself a bona fide British Post punk, electronic /industrial music Legend. It was the last night of his 40th anniversary tour, and he was quite clearly having a wonderful time. The venue itself felt safe, the staff were great, and seemed to be enjoying themselves as well, which I feel is important. All in all, what us northerners might call a 'cracking night' I shall be visiting again. Any complimentary drinks upon my next appearance will be most gratefully received
