Bought gig tickets months ago. Finance became pregnant. Roundhouse gave us a swap of our standing tickets to seating tickets, no questions asked.

Went to see Swans. Great venue with good sound and good facilities.
I was impressed with the setup of this place. All staff were professional and the ushers had a good system of guiding guests to each other to ensure the place is filled up strategically.
We saw the club swizzle show and it was excellent!
Probably my favourite large London music venue. Great view from anywhere, great sound and atmospheric old building.
Great venue. Gets very packed on the terrace when there is an event.
Went to see a concert here, entry was quick and easy, drinks priced as would be expected. Great terrace garden. Loved the music venue, it looks stunning. Parking isn't great unless you're happy to walk 10mins.
Great place for venues and great beer. Go and have fun!
Fantastic venue, perfect setting for the dance show we went to see (Until the Lions by Akram Khan). The only criticism I have is that it was extremely hot in the main room to the point that we felt a little light headed (I'm typically cold in venues)
Probably the place with the best acoustics for gigs. My favourite
I just loved the Goo Goo Dolls concert! The public was captivated by their music and the atmosphere was fantastic!
Takes too long to get in and out of the venue. Could do with a better drinks offering at the bar. But it's a great atmosphere and I've seen many good gigs here.
This is a great venue but unfortunately the staff were very rude to me. They are not aware that not all disabilities are obvious. I was humiliated by a member of staff when I tried to use the lift and then I was unable to get to my car which was parked in a disabled space in their car park. It was even more embarrasing when I was looked up and down in disgust and the security guard was called. This ruined my night. I wont be going back.
Great venue, great view even from the seats further back
Love this venue, its quite unique in the way that as described it is round. 2nd visit, this time for work. Can't wait to return again.
One of the best venues!, Huge open space, as well as decent bars and a huge smoking area!
The best medium sized venue in london. Not to packed and everyone, no matter how tall you are, can view the stage.
How this venue has so high scores is beyond me. This is 2018 not 1978 and there's a ton of better venues out there.
So let's start with the very basics. Sound is of inferior quality. I'm not sure what the PA is (probably not the best but ok) but by default when you have such a high ceiling and a metallic framework you're bound for a low quality sounding show.
Anyway, it is what it is, moving on to the columns. Really? You've just paid 35 pounds plus 6 pounds for the staff/venue/whatever fees and you arrive at your seat (floor was sold out) only to find out you have a COLUMN in front of you!
How is that not restricted view? I guess it's good to be selling those tickets at full price.
Oh by the way did I mention the fees?
Yes that's right THE FEES. How much extra fees can the roundhouse charge and get away with?? I had to laugh recently when I booked a ticket recently. You guys make ticketmaster pale next to you!! Rip off.
I won't bother with the rudeness of the staff and security etc. that has become the new standard everywhere. And please, just because your paycheck is low and you wouldn't want to be there working it DOES NOT give you the right to ruin my night out by treating me like an inferior human being.
We are customers who spent our time and money to be there.
Ok, the show is over, it was great what I manage to see and hear of it, how do I exit the venue?
By being stacked like a sardine and going down the stairs with thousand other people.
One exit only?! Hate to think what would happen in case of a FIRE! I guess it's not on the mind of the owner/promoter etc. as long as the bank account is full.
Bottom line: there are tons of venues out there, if your band is doing the tour cycle, save your money to see them at the next venue they do, you'll have a much better time.
To the owners: wake up, stop selling the "idea" behind the roundhouse (read: REDUCE YOUR EXTRA FEES), and APPRECIATE your customers. The only reason you are still in business!
Concert hall very beautiful. Incomparable sound quality
Great venue for seeing bands up close.Far more intimate than large arenas like the o2
Saw First Aid Kit and support Van Williams. Excellent gig, very good venue.
Still among the best, if not the best, live music venues in London.
Wonderful night. Only small gripe is the accessible seating is reached via an awkward narrow gap. Not good if your on crutches.
Because it's round and cosy like a house.. What's not to love
We went to see HIM and we really enjoyed the concert. The place is medium size, so you can actually see the artist and not ants, clean bathrooms, nice infrastructure in general and good sound. We had a drink and although it was relatively expensive, I think it could have been worse. Really pleased with our visit.
Brilliant lighting and acoustics. Lovely comfortable seating too.....
Easy to get to, easy to find, enough bars but the sound is sometimes rubbish though. And as it's a music venue it kind of a big thing
Superb venue. Easy to get to location and beautiful converted building. Sound system in the place is one of the finest in the city.
What a great place, nicely turned into a concerthall
Classic venue in old engine shed, home of the 60s underground.
Unique venue in a former exchange, with a decent view throughout.
Great venue, best seen and heard by attending a concert
The PRRFECT gig venue. My preference is for some detectable rough edges, scruffy walls and odd smells, otherwise I d give it 5/5
Good spacious venue, not such great sound...could use a few extra speakers.
First visit here and saw the wonderful Post Modern Jukebox. What a venue!
Perhaps a little hot inside but the atmosphere of the place with the design of the building was quite something. Very easy to get to as well.
Amazing venue, very intimate and unique! Just need to get people in faster.
Great night out, queues for the refreshments weren't to bad and great sound system.
Been here three times in the last year and the venue is great, they get excellent bands l, however the sound is rubbish. Disappointed with the quality of all three. It was not the first time seeing these bands and my partner who is a sound engineer agreed the quality each time was terrible throughout the venue. Really gutting when you're looking forward to seeing a band perform and you can't hear them properly.
Great for shows and upcoming creatives to showcase their talent great and pleasant staff members
Fantastic circus performance by Lexicon. Well worth seeing, a brilliant venue. Last performance Saturday 18thJanuary...
I love this place. I really like the steel columns all around surrounding the crowd with the stage in front of you.
It's one of the best places in London where enjoying a gig!
Concert Hall located very close to Chalk Farm Station, London
I really like this venue. While it is a historic building (an old train shed!) it has only recently been refurbished, and they've done a great job. The bars are easy to get served at, and the staff are all friendly and helpful.
The cloakroom was quite slow before the show, so I missed part of the support and there were still lots of people behind me. After the show the organisation was better, I guess because they want to get rid of the people asap. Apart from that it was a good experience with nice staff and an interesting venue.
Great venue, free local street parking available most evenings (check signage).
Went to see Old Crow Medicine Show. Beuatiful atmosphere. Very happy.
Amazing venue for life music, an absolute must visit place. Go to the 1st floor and see all the posters/art of the famous bands, acts and historic figures who have graced this original venue. Also in the summer they sometimes turn the roof into "Camden beach"...
A great music venue. Great sound quality, and great atmosphere. Easy to get too, and plenty locally to make a day of it.
Excellent venue...not too big...not too small just right size for live music...
Great venue, pubs inside and around the building for the pre-concert wait
It really is a beautiful venue. Big enough to attract shows worth traveling for, but small enough to avoid feeling like a corporate nightmare.
Visited twice - once for a theatre show, another time for a concert. Nice venue! Although if you're seated upstairs, the columns unfortunately, annoyingly, block your view.
Nice venue. Intimate size. Saw many good concerts here. If you get a membership you get to access the member s bar and get other benefits which come with it, plus you support the resident artist.
This legendary venue has plenty going for it: history, beauty inside and out, good sound and a regular bill of excellent acts. Built in 1846 as a railway engine shed, where trains used to turn, humans now turn, and bounce and sing.
This place has really seen some huge gigs in it's time, with Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and The Clash having all done their thing here.
For gig watching, there are both stalls and seats. But get there early to avoid being on the outside of the columns, else you might find one obstructing your view.
Incredible venue!! Do make sure to go a bit in advance, cloakroom is very busy.
Make sure to arrive early and stand closer to the scene! :)
