Worst place ever for a concert. There are columns in the middle of the venue and if u get tickets for seating area u get good chance to have the sight totally blocked from one of the columns. So u pay a ticket to listen but no to see.
I will never come again to see a live show.
If u can avoid it, avoid.

A great venue. Has a great atmosphere. Have always been in the standing section. There are several bars. There is usually a cloakroom to check your bags and coats in to. It can take quite a long time to get out of this place as there only seems to be one set of doors out.

I love the Roundhouse. They programme incredible acts and all the commercial work they do goes to support their charitable aims of developing promising young artists, musicians and writers. The spoken word programme is particularly good and poetry shows are always really well done. However! If you're going to see a gig there and you have standing tickets, I would hugely recommend getting in early to get a good spot. Though the venue isn't huge, the sightlines and acoustics aren't wonderful, so you can be not too far from the stage but still unable to see a thing, or it can feel like you're involved in the gig. Having said that, crowds there are usually quite polite, so if you do work your way forwards you'll have a great time.
Drinks are the usual expensive gig prices.

Ordered Tickets for a gig in February, back in October 2018.
Their own website states that the tickets will be mailed out 2 weeks before the performance and if I hadn't received them 7 days prior to get in touch with them.
They didn't arrive, and then they tell me that they were sent out.
They weren't. I have lived at my current address for 12 years and have never lost anything in the post. Ever.
I emailed them 3 times and only received the excuse after the 3rd. I also rang their line first thing after 9.30am, and was cut off.
They won't allow me to come and pick up the tickets before the night, nor will they offer a refund.
This is outrageous.
It's incumbent on them - seeing as I'm spending the cash - to make sure I get the tickets well in time, and seemingly they haven't managed this.

Good venue with decent sound and nice security. Let down by lack of hand drying facilities (electronic broken and no paper towels). Also the bar service of some, but not all, bar members was really poor.

Last night was a bit special. My 2nd Heilung event and a definite improvement on the first one (which was good, but they're getting better). The soundstage seemed of better quality than the Islington Assembly Hall venue used last year. The warriors, Maria and especially Kai were a lot more aware of the audience and seemed to want to "bring us in" more. The Warriors had more to do and there was more choreography used.
Songs were a mix of the last two albums. You can't go wrong with Krigsgaldr or Hamrer Hyppyer (which is made extra special by the invasion of the audience by the warriors) but the first single from the new album, Norupo, was spectacular - the addition of the female chorus an added bonus.
I really need to learn the words...

What a night.

Good dancefloor, good seating and easy access. Bars on each floor are a plus.

4.5 stars - I really like this venue, location, service, space, events are all excellent. The only reason I don't give a 5 is when it's busy shorter people at the back can't see much. But there's always space to move around and there is a balcony.

Poor acoustics. I saw the Ronettes. I was a fair way back but it was very loud and my hearing is now permanently damaged. I now have constant ringing in my ears. They should provide warnings, earplugs and meters showing the decibel level. I will never go there again.

Great venue for live music. Acoustics were among the best I've experienced in over 30years of attending gigs. Usual prices for drinks at this kind of venue which always annoys me. My only criticism was that the venue main doors opened nearly an hour before we were allowed into the stage area and we were made to wait on a staircase inside for all that time, if there had been an evacuation it would have been chaos.

I've been to the Roundhouse twice now, and it's one of my favourite venues in London. The layout of the venue is great, the stage and lighting look amazing, and the staff are friendly and extremely helpful.

Unique performance art venue and big sound system ...

Unique performance art venue and big sound system for gigs.

A range of initiatives mean your tickets will contribute towards youth and deserving projects.

The main space looks incredible and larger that you may expect from viewing outside, during busy events the bar is too busy so don't rely on it and go for a drink nearby instead. The restaurant seems good if you plan and book ahead. If we're lucky they will continue running their urban beach in the car park during the summer.

If booking tickets for certain events where you can choose seats in the inner circle ensure you do because the beams holding the roof up, although thin, aren't invisible and may obstruct your view.

Grab every chance you get to visit. Every event feels new and the area is ideal for drinks and food.

Saw the Pixies - who were amazing. The venue was ace, too although three ticket checks seem a little too much on the way in. My wife even commented how good the sound was and the drinks prices weren't terminal for central London. If you arrive after 1830 there is heaps of on-street parking, which worked very well for us, to get home to the Isle of Wight afterwards

Amazing venue and arts centre. It's a recently refurbished building with antique roots, so everything is much higher quality and less... Sticky... Than other music venues. The sound quality is fantastic and the layout is very well thought out. I've seen a few bands here and some other stage shows and it really is a dream venue.

I had a 'fun' experience with security and management over my camera one night I was there, but I'm not going to let a couple of obnoxious uneducated staff that probably don't work there any more ruin a review of this landmark venue. Just make sure that if you go, take a camera with a small lens on the front to get around their laughable policy on camera sizes.

The bar staff were smiley and enthusiastic, and the beer was pretty good for a music venue (probably due to clean, new beer lines).

There's a very varied programme here, so even if there isn't a band you like playing, drop by one of the rising talent nights or another performance. You won't regret it.

Latin American voices, amazing show!!!

Latin American voices, amazing show!!!
Powerful scenes.

On the booking system, they should show the countdown of tickets sold, because this show was so popular, many people came thinking to buy tickets on the door, not expecting it to be totally sold out.

Checked in here last night for the Jorge Drexler concert. Not the first time I've been, and absolutely not the last either. Was here for Mike Shinoda last year too.

Fantastic venue, lighting and audio production are always on point. Absolutely love the work they do with youths and their underground rehearsal studios. Great job Roundhouse!

A truly classic London venue. You have to pay attention where you're booking so your view isn't obscured by a pillar, though. Have seen bands, orchestras and circus here, all memorable. The staff are lovely.

About Roundhouse Studios

Roundhouse Studios is a creative hub that has been at the forefront of live performance spaces for over 50 years. The Roundhouse is located in Camden, London and has become one of the most iconic venues in the world. It was originally built as a railway engine shed in 1847 and was later converted into a performing arts venue in 1964.

The Roundhouse Studios is not just any ordinary venue; it's an institution that believes in the power of creativity to change lives. The company's mission is to provide a platform for artists, musicians, and performers to showcase their talents and inspire others through their work.

The Roundhouse Studios offers state-of-the-art facilities for rehearsals, recording sessions, performances, events, and workshops. The venue boasts several spaces including the Main Space which can accommodate up to 3,300 people standing or 1,700 seated; The Sackler Space which can hold up to 170 people standing or 100 seated; The Torquil Studio which can hold up to 80 people standing or 50 seated; and The Hub which is perfect for smaller events with capacity for up to 40 people.

These programs include creative writing workshops, music production courses as well as mentoring schemes designed specifically for young women who are interested in pursuing careers within the music industry.

Roundhouse Studios has played host to some of the biggest names in entertainment including Jimi Hendrix who performed his first UK gig there back in September 1966. Other notable performers who have graced its stage include Pink Floyd (who recorded part of their album "Ummagumma" there), David Bowie (who performed his last ever show as Ziggy Stardust there), Led Zeppelin (who played four shows there between December '68 - January '69) among many others.

The company's commitment towards sustainability cannot be overlooked either.
