Great place, nice music but way much over capacity.

The bouncer was friendly but the music there was not the one I expected.

One of the best nightclubs ive been too. As a wheelchair user who loves jamming to the latest beats, it's sometimes hard to find a club that let's me in. Even if Rouge has 25+ stairs the doorman and security guys help me out no problemo. they are super chill. Everyone treats me with respect and the workers are super nice.

The reception is very bad. Not possible to pay by card for less than $ 40 and when we serve you a glass of rum with a terrible taste, the waiter does not want to change it because the rum is rum ... I do not recommend this club .

Not the best smell inside. Would not recommend and would not go again.

I went for the first time, this Saturday for an 18 year birthday. We were 8 girls. We have to reserve to be on the guess list. Made it to the club, and wait in line for 30 minutes. We were told that you absolutely have to pay for bottles at $ 300 to get in. Since we were 8 people. We needed 2 bottles and more. Otherwise we wouldn't come home. We were disappointed and angry about this situation. I wouldn't go any more.: ((((Just silly. Doorman really stupid to tell us how much you would be willing to pay for a bottle because he has people who pay 700 $$$$ for anything !!!!! !

Leave Laval to be refused entry. Make me ask for 2 pieces of identification including the PASSPORT ...... Really not your business (and by the way I was well dressed as your dress code specifies). A CLUB has NEVER go there.

Inhuman and disrespectful to their customers. Despite an hour's queue to collect the coats, the bouncers forbade us to go to the toilet by telling us to go on the street.

I went for the first time here yesterday and I would never go back. It's too crowded you can't even have enough space to dance but this wasn't the worst part. The bouncers are rude and abusive. When we tried to leave (around 2:40), the bouncers started to push us out FOR NO REASON. Then when I tried to tell the bouncers to stop touching us, the bouncer pushed me (a girl) so hard that my contact lense fell out of my eye. They then decided to grab my boyfriend and take his shirt off and throw him on the floor. Now his arm is messed up FOR NO REASON. It was as if they think they have all the rights to be violent towards us just to get people to leave the bar early (before 3) to finish on time. The bouncers here should be fired. They hit a girl FOR NO REASON and it's not ok. If they keep these bouncers at this bar they going to get sued. IF I could give 0 star I would

worst box in montreal we take a guest list and it plays with us as if we were children in we say to go right to left, for the end we fail for no reason. Really a gang of racists with blacks and Arabs going somewhere else if you can.

No where on the site it states 21 years and over, wasted my time and gas, just to be refused entry cause my daughter is only 18 years old which is the standard age requirement. This should be posted on the site.

Bad customer service (the doormen). Messy and unsanitary club. During the evening, the ceiling was running water and the floor was dangerous. No staff came to solve the problem or make the area safe (August 26). Too many people for the little space. Very bad music for a Saturday.

Ridiculous!!! A real joke !! Super unpleasant staff, no class, no respect for its customers, nonexistent service ... the only reason why this club resists, is because the average age is super young and the customers seem to be screwed madly good service since, 3/4 of the bar consumes nothing !! Always fun to go to the rouge, we never had a problem resrving a table or a booth. Bottle service can be sometimes a little slow but it is understandable because of the amount of people. One of my favorite clubs in montreal, definitely would recommend it for any birthday partys !

You'll only get in and get a good service if you're on a guestlist and have paid for bottles. The music is great and different depending on the night. The crowd has gotten younger and younger over the years, it mostly feels like everyone is underaged.

The crowd is way too packed, too many people in such a small place. You could smell sweat anywhere, very humid atmosphere. I couldn't even have my own personal space to dance. The drinks were good, not great but definitely OVERPRICED! You atleast have to pay 250$ to be drunk! (My friends and I paid for 1500$ worth of alcohol) The DJ played trendy music, I enjoyed it but it's not a style everyone likes. It could be better. Waiting line is SUPER LONG! Especially on a cold -15 Saturday night in winter, we waited for an hour outside. The bouncer was very aggressive towards the clients, he said he would beat up anyone with a defensive attitude. Staff is to stay away from. Come on people, there are so many different places to have fun and drink. This is definitely not the one! 0 zero star if I could.

Bouncer touch people and get aggressive to no reason. Disapointed because we got a guestlist and apparently there's no difference. Be aware to face a aggressive bouncer abd not fwtting in with 15 people guestlist.

Would not recommend! The music is mediocre and kept repeating, the people are also very rude. I was shoved every 5 minutes & when I tried to find somewhere else to dance it was pointless because I was just shoved again.

Crowded, impossible to enter if you don't know someone that works there or if you don't have a guestlist. They have sections with diffrent music styles so it's hard to get annoyed

Literally worst club ever, waited with group of friends for 1.5 hour in lineup and payed 30$ Each for new year s eve ticket online, eventually we could nt get in and had to go somewhere else, however people without any tickets got inside without even waiting in line as they purchased the ticket at the door. This place is ridiculous the whole new year s eve party was so unorganized and such a waste of money.

Got a really bad experience yesterday at this place. I asked for water to drink with the bottle of liquor we had just purchased, the guy refused angrily because he is supposedly "not here to serve water". I proposed to pay for tap water and he was still rude at me and threatened to beat me if I "kept that attitude". Of course I had kind of a defensive attitude when I get confronted about a glass of water with no ice and no straw... Very irrational and unprofessional behavior. The rest of the staff was friendly and approachable.

Simply the best night club on st laurent... 21+, no cover, 3$ coatcheck, drinks not too expensive... Good ratio guys/girls... They celebrated their 11th years a couple months ago... Must be a good place ;)

If you want to wait for hours outside despite having arranged a deal with the organizer (deal for which the group has paid) for the evening or when you call to be in the guestlist, if you want at the bar the Staff is super rude and respects your deal, if you want to have an 80% chance to not come in and get harassed to pay at the entrance and that Every time you accept we raise the price, if you want really a MARDE experience ... it's the perfect place :)

absolutely sus. hot promoter approached us in the street and we followed him. after exchanging snaps, we were promised VIP table for our "future visit". not sure if we will make the return despite him being daddy x 1000. once entering the venue, we were met by a cohort of sloppily drunk women who were unable to walk down the stairs. scared for our lives. scared for hers. we entered the dance floor. what was the sensation under my toes? sticky. toothless men approached us from behind and put my lady in a chokehold whilst whispering sweet nothings into her ear. we swatted him off, to no avail. sus. music 11/1.

Mean bouncer, we were two girls on a guestlist and even called to tell the hour when we will arrive and boucer still didn t let us in... It was my friend s bday all her friends where in and she was with me outside.. we ended up going to another place.

This place is ridiculous! I went with a group of friends and me and two of my other boys couldn t get in cuz we were wearing running shoes ! I ve never been more frustrated and we couldn t end up going in with the rest of the girls that got in

I was a bit scared to come here after reading the reviews but i decided to come here for my birthday and had an awesome time, the music was great, it was a bit packed but thats okay, the bartenders were super nice and I didn t have a problem with the bouncer, he was just super serious thats all, anyways i will be coming back

I'd give a 3.5 if I could. A little ratchet but still very fun! The people are nice, the space is well used. Nice ceiling. Music is great. Fun with or without a table. Two floors. The second one is the funnest by far. You can go dressed up or down, you'll find everything there.

I recently went with a group of friends we had no table but the bar service was amazing. The barmaids were nice on the party, we offered shots dancing I really liked my evening so if you want a good vibe good service and good music I recommend this place without hesitation

Been here twice and unlike some other reviews I noticed I must disagree with them. I found the bar staff to be extremely friendly and professional. The bouncers were attentive and professional as well. Obviously there was a wait but that's to be expected when you go clubbing. Great music and amazing vibe. Definetly reccomend Rouge to anyone looking for a great night

Best Club on Boul St-Laurent. So what it has a strict dress code, deal with it. My buddy and I got in two nights in a row (Fri, Sat) with no guest list and no bottle service when we went in mid July. Awesome bartenders and attractive women everywhere. Music was 3/5 imo.

After being coldly told to throw away my empty bottle of water by the security staff I was allowed to enter this massive pigstai where everybody was cramed into one corner. Also, I was told there was no coat check so I drag my belongings along...

The worst club to do university events. First, the manager does not tell his employees that there is a party for a university and we are in another room. We ask 4 people to show the ticket and we confirm that it is in the main room. In addition our student association has confirmed deals on alcohol so have ordered and the bill arrives, the total is $ 80 .. The deal was $ 30. The arrogant, classless barmaid screams at us .... She calls her manager and he finds the situation very funny. He tells us that we have to pay and that it is the fault of nobody all his staff works well and makes no mistake ..... Okay, they are thieves, it was well written in big the alcohol deals. NOT FORGET THAT BARMAID LAUNCHES THE RECEIPT AFTER PAID AND TIP .... QUICK SUMMARY: Service: 0 Manager: Arrogant, thief and not professional Blonde Barmaid of Saturday 19: Arrogant and not at all professional. Bouncer: serves no purpose gives no information. AVOID THIS CLUB seriously waste of money time + they are thieves !!!! Barmaid NOT GENTILLE Seriously I would like to make a complaint, we should put together and close this place.

I had a bad experience at the bottom. But with my cousin to enter (Afro Americans) they asked us to detre with women or buy a bottle but before us they had two white men come in. Then we bring back women who know then they do the attitude one of the bouncer cries on a woman to know if she knew us c just a club we are there to have fun we were not a group of 5 men. Finally we are back but we were more down to have fun because of the bad staff c damage because the music is good

If I could give it 0 star I would. I was going there a lot back then but with time the place became incredibly ghetto. The only thing I miss from there is the music but the type of people there are either under age or older which is a very weird mixed crowd. They don t let guys with clean sneakers walk in but they let kids come in. I got MY PHONE STOLEN there. A guy on my way out even tried to pic pocket me right in front of my face! My friend a week later GOT HER PHONE STOLEN TOO!

Never make an agreement with the managers of the Rouge for an event. They did not respect their agreement / deal with HEC students at the private party on February 15th. They had promised to reserve the first floor only for students of HEC and with some people of the guestlist, but they decided to "pack" completely strangers! A gang of crooks who do not stick to their agreement, but to fill the pockets of your money. In short, avoid this place unless you like to be constantly "squizzer" among 600 people in a room with a capacity of 400 people. Regards, Ricky Lim Ka Lan

The music that passes before midnight is horrible. The team is rude and poorly organized. If you do not feel good, it's not here that we will help you. I was going to faint and a bouncer told me "you're in the way". I would not go back to the red bar.

Poor experience all together. It's got that "we got money vibe and we don't need yours, so we can do whatever we want", not very practical from a business perspective. You want to create an exclusive experience but you rethink you business model

Rude bouncers that love to threaten to beat you up instead of being courteous and make sure that everyone has a good time. There are better clubs to go to out there.

Pretty sexist place. Especially the 2nd floor. They don't let guys dance on the columns on the basis that "only girls dance there". A security guard will come to get you down if you are. I thought Montreal was more accepting of this kind of stuff, at least this place isnt.

Nice to hang out and listen to music and enjoy the drinks. Have been going here for years and always have a good time. Nice time hanging out with the old gang to catch up.
